After looking at the online manual for the LIne 6 POD 2, I found that I have been missing half of the user amp tones available on it for 20 years! So here I show you how I found them and what they sound like direct recorded using my Focusrite 8i6 interface.

I bought one a year ago which was still in a box with the optional FB4 foot pedal for $50USD. Absolutely love it. Thanks for the video.

That almost looks like the vintage 1960's Hofner 335 style guitar I just picked up, although mine has a P90 bridge and Lipstick Neck set up. and Love how you show people how if you explore some Tone can even be found in a old POD

Really enjoyed this video. Heard a guitarist KILL one of these 2.0s last week - I was smitten to say the least. We actually had this tech at our church years back, packaged in a Flextone amp, which sounded great. Great work on this video.

Thanks for covering this in 2020! I picked one up for the cost of dinner as way to add guitar to my tracks without having to record an amp. By the sound of it I'll do just fine.

Great vid Mike, who'd have thought the old pod had so many great usable tones. As a purely bedroom guitarist I shall keep my eye out for one of these , it will be the perfect addition to my bedroom rig of g&l Asat and Fender mustang amp !

They are still useful years later and years to come. I have the POD 1.0 that I upgraded to a 2.0 with the EPROM chip swap. You pretty much had to read the upgraded manual at that point to use any of the updated features directly on the unit. But then they've always had a software editor via MIDI that showed all the options. You can set exact delay times, use a boost, use a cocked wah, see everything you can change, and etc with the software editor.
