In this video, I give sounds samples from each default patch on the Line 6 POD 2.0. I recorded each patch directly to Windows 10 laptop via the MOTU M2 USB audio interface.
Great video I like the way you ran it through the line 6 editor function and played every preset. There has always been kick back against modelling software but using the pod taught me more about amps and their potential sounds than actually spending a whack of money. I still use the pod 2.0 but tend to always plug back into the Marshall
I thoroughly enjoyed your video demo of this product. This is one of the few times where I actually enjoyed most of the sounds of any given guitar effect system. It was hard not to like any of the sounds you demonstrated. What I also like is that it seems geared toward more classic rock sounds which is what I’ve been looking for in an effects unit but couldn’t find. I don’t like too much distortion or crunch but partial distortion. Newer effect modules seemed to go overkill on the distortion where it’s ridiculous. Don’t you think?
Thanks, I appreciate the kind words. Yes, I agree. A lot newer stuff is either clean or full tilt. I purchased and received a Behringer V-Amp 3 this week and though I only got it yesterday, I’ve enjoyed playing it and I think it has some interesting sound in it too.
@@Tone-Quest I was looking into the Vamp 3 as well. I would love your feedback on it after you’ve used it for a few days. Please share your impressions with me! I heard it’s like a clone of the Pod2 but with a few more bells and whistles. Some of the Vamp patches sound EXACTLY like the Pod. So if I can get similar sounds for less money then I may get a Vamp 3 instead of the Pod 2. Is the Vamp 3 battery powered?
It's in there. 1 of the presets has it. I bought mine used no manual went online to find out how to do a factory reset to start from scratch. I didn't care for the sounds. In my case it helped. I still had to dial in what I liked and save them on the presets. There's 2 other ways.
4:47 THE sound of Sonic Adventure 2.

Sounds pretty cool!
Great video, well done
Thank you
I have my pod but can’t find the editor disk. Any idea where to get it again?

@@azarlane9553 unfortunately, the V-Amp 3 cannot be run off of batteries.
I own a pod 2 though would like to know where to get the editor since the old CRrom can't run anymore (compatibility issue).
The Line 6 web site still makes the Line 6 Edit software available under its download section.

i have one
but i can't make sound "real clean" without little distortion
do you have clean patch?

Choose a clean amp, turn gain down and volume up. I have strumed humbuckers clean with pods
Use only the clean channel on the amp with the Pod of course.
My brother, what a good video, you will have instagram or email to be able to ask you something about the program
Thank you.
