Aternos is good for a small public server with a few plugins and is really good for survival with friends, you could also use it with a modpack with like 10 mods. Exaroton is good for big modpacks and lots of plugins and it is good for a large server with lots of plugins. Basically it depends on what you are using the hosts for, personally I use Exarton for big modpacks with my frends and I use it for custom made modpacks because you can acctually upload mods from your pc to the mods folder the host has and I use aternos for SMP's and when we are playing with a few mods that we chose.
@@drakopika7951i would recommend to download sodium and iris graphics if it’s the first time you are experiencing it then it is incredible because you can litterly set your render distance to 32 chuncks without crashing the game and using shaders without killing you laptop/pc
Aternos is one of the worst, it's slow, laggy and even though it's free it still sucks and can't be compared to exaroton as it's not only better in everything but it's also paid.
Aternos if ur looking for free and queus for lag or exaroton for 16GB with no limit of servers u can create (But its paid) ALSO IF U DIDNT ALREADY KNOW Exaroton is sub divided from the Aternos gang.
If you just want to play with friends, I'd suggest you go with Aternos for the meantime. But if you're looking forward to make a server for other people to join, go for Exaroton.
@@Vexy__1200 you can, There is auto start and auto stop exaroton can be 24/7 but i honestly dont recommend it if you have a small playerbase or its just a server for you and your friends

Exaroton if you gonna be using lots of mods/plugins and planning to have lots of players in your server(25+) players
they look 100% same but the coloring inverted to green instead blue

But the server is not lagging that much. (In my eyes, i have tested it)

Same company makes both, they even occasionally run ads for Exaroton.
Exaroton just works better and the crash assistance really helps me because I am not such a tech nerd

I think its starts taking from your credits only when there is anybody in the server
If someone tries to join the server when it’s online the server will start up and in around 15 secs the server will be up

Its normal, its paid server, but you paid when you play
Exaroton is paid to play, but the best about it is that u only pay when ur server is online. the 5 credits thing is a trail (SORTA) to test it out
