Alright so I just got these and it’s hot as hell in London right now. I had to carry the box and some shopping all the way up these stairs and I’m sweating like I played all 48 in a Game 7.
I put the shopping bags down, washed my hands, put the shopping away (wiping things down of course), washed my hands again and opened these out the box. I laced em up properly (which a lot of people should do), sat down, and then I put them on.
My God.
What grabs you straight away is the amount of cushioning in the shoes as soon as you stand up and walk around in them.
LeBrons are my go to shoes, especially the 17s, the 18 and 19 Lows. The 20s are okay (I wanted a Kobe without paying a resale price because what the hell is that price) but the older models are better.
All of those are going straight back in the box for the GT Jumps. You feel a little taller (I’m already 6’5” so I can now officially call myself 6’6” on Tinder) already but you feel so much of a bounce back when you walk, jog, run, and jump.
These are, like you said in the video, what you wanted Shox shoes to be and I had a lot of Shox shoes (shout out to the Air Shox Hyperballer).
Already, I’m giving these a nine out of ten.
Also, it is way too hot over here for me to be typing all of this so I’ll stop here.

Wow. I've been watching your reviews for a long time and I haven't been this excited for a pair of hoop shoes in a while. This thing's so loaded with tech and looks great, this could be even better than all the signatures in Nike's lineup. Can't wait for it to hit outlets so I can cop.
Crazy what Nike can do when they put in actual effort. I wish they'd put even a quarter of the effort on these on the Jordan retros.
These are my personal most anticipated sneaker of '22. I can't wait for the retail release and I plan on coppin' multiple colorways as they remind me of the '08 Hyperdunk! Great review of this dope sneaker, Chris 🤙🏾

These just hit my footlocker in NC. $180 retail for those still curious about price point. And yes, they are as bouncy and comfortable as the hype suggests.

Thank you reviewing shoes like these and not just Jordans like everyone else. I was excited when I first saw pictures of them and love the high cut. I will be trying a pair after watching this...once they go on sale 😂
Ordered a pair for my son. He got them yesterday and wore them to a club team tryout with zero break in beforehand. He absolutely raved about them and likes them a lot more than even his Jordan 36s (that wore through in the toe area and the rear pull tab ripped off of).

These are kinda dope. I would have loved these back in the 90’s. I still get excited when I see a Nike shoe model that I’ve never seen before and I actually like it. Not to beat a dead horse to death, but there was a time where “retros” weren’t a thing really so all you had to look forward to was the newer models coming out. This takes me back to those days and one of the many reasons I watch this channel. You guys rock.

Man I want these!!! All that cushioning. Once I saw the full length air unit under the already thick cushiony insole…. I was sold sold!! Zoom air is hands down THE best cushioning!! I work in mines.

I’ve been hooping in these since March, and they’re the most comfortable hoop shoe I’ve played in that I can remember. My favorite shoe right now and looking to add other colorways, but they’re always sold out in my size! (14US).

Best shoes I've ever worn performance wise. Go true to size for wide footer after break in period it's perfect. I also have a half size up just in case. Grip is fantastic, cushion out of this world. Get it.
Just purchased a pair in white ,sail,and black. I don't ball but I'm short and wide . These shoes are really comfortable. They will be used as lifestyles. Very happy with purchase, thank wear testers.

When I first saw the model the upper reminded me of the aj35/36s at first glance. Definitely a unique design in their own right though.

Yeah Lebron vibes without the bulk...totally intrigued by your description on these, my preference is always cushion in a mid or low but I would seriously consider these if they match your initial review
These are legit one of the most exciting hoop shoes I've seen in a while.
Chris and Jodie, Reebok is coming out with a Julius Erving question that is really clean. Red colorway with a touch of gold. These jumps are nice and remind me of the Lebron 19s. Straight up tanks but bouncy at the same time. That graf you showed as far as the makeup of the shoe just shows how far technology can make a shoe feel unbelievable compared to the 80s shoes when I was growing up. This is a shoe to play in.

I have the black and grey. I’m a 2 guard I love these shoes! Traction, feel, lateral movement. Been playing about 8 a week since March. Materials are very strong and have protected my ankle behind well.
What about knees, impact wise? Have you noticed anything that way?

Chris would you recommend these for casual wear? I would love to have a pair for hooping and a pair for casual wear. Another great video! I love all the tech and overall aesthetic of these shoes, especially this colorway. The futuristic look is just hard not to pass up!
That's a crazy cushion set up for sure. The pebax frame kinda reminds me of when a Adidas "tried" their own version of shox, it was not comfy or bouncy

Ordered. $139 + 15 shiping on ebay for the chaos colorway. This is the shoe I have been looking for all my life. I loved the Shox, but they didn't bounce and like NW said, they were tanks. I will comment again when I play in them.
