Enter: budget stations.
I highly recommend that everyone utilize a budget station in their own life. The perfect budget station is one where everything you need regarding your finances is within arm’s reach. Your bills are there. Highlighters, pens, and sticky notes are also present. If you pay anything via snail mail, make sure to have your checkbook, stamps, and envelopes handy. I also recommend a binder and hole puncher so that you can organize bills, receipts, and any critical documentation such as your mortgage. It also doesn’t hurt to have a calendar on your desk so that you can visualize paydays and due dates.
If your budget station is set up perfectly, then you won’t need to search for anything. The moment you sit down, you have everything you need to handle your finances.

I found an IKEA Galant rolling drawer organizer with 4 drawers at my local Habitat Restore for only $5!!! They go for $150-$175, so that was a HUGE score!!! Every drawer as a specific function and keeps EVERYTHING I need handy right next to my desk and my printer sits on top.
I combine my budget by paycheck system and my Sunday basket system. The minute I get mail it is organized into a file and I deal with it all on Sunday. I never lose mail and it helps having a system for organizing all of my paper. Then I pay my bills once a week from my bill file. It’s working well, refining my system now.
A bar cart would be a great way for me to Bill pay & drink through it LOL. I love you Budget Mom!!!!! Let’s rock this

My bank tellers loves the teller sticky note. They're always so appreciative when I bring one for withdrawal 😊
I was a teller years ago and it’s so nice when customers do this. Especially when some banks see 400+ people a day! 💛

I love this video! But I have been watching you for quite awhile, and I can't remember ever seeing you use stickers before. Do you just use them in your planner? I am only using Budget by Paycheck system. I would love to see how you use all those stickers and stencils!
Michael has a different line of stickers that are half the price of the happy planner stickers. I take an old planner rip out the sheets and tape them in so I can condense the bulk of them so I don’t have one 1/4 full taking up space.

I have your workbook and came here to find out what highlighters you use. You are using mildliners, which is what I have, but they bleed through the paper. How do you keep them from bleeding through?

I'm scaling down, so no more sticker books or planners until I finish the ones I have, too much disorganization with so many sticker books and planners. Also, being organized and avoiding any channels that talk about new releases will save me money. I have a large rolling cart for my office space and a small one for my bedroom. 🙃

Update on my station:
I have upgraded back to a full size desk with 2 matching cabinets. The cabinets are organized with files and supplies and everything else I don't want out in the open causing clutter. My desk has all my budgeting needs in the right side and the left has multiple storage units to keep all systems ready to go, with everything having its own dedicated space.
I keep all my stickers inside my TBM Pen pouch.

Ive been watching so many of these videos and it seems like all budget supplies are designed for women. I cant find any elegant budget planners, stickers, etc that are designed for men :(
