- Just wanted to provide a review of what I found to be an excellent piece of prospecting equipment. As a disabled vet, I do most of my processing on my back deck. This unit has been a lifesaver for me.
Update: Had to sell the unit, circumstances arose. I am trying to get another one! If you buy one piece of equipment, make it this unit!!!
Keene is a good company good people good products I have been prospecting for over 50 years and i have never had a problem with Keene made in America 🇺🇸 onley the best
I’ve had one for about a year and I was watching pats video the other night and realized I was using the wrong mat so today I was in the garage playing with the minimaxx and my goldwell and I think I like my minimaxx better. It’s such an underrated machine

I was concerned about too much water, but the recovery was spot on. There is not as much air pocketing as it appears. Some of that is a reflection from the water.
Great review. Thinking about getting one of these for a 3 day trip.
You will not be disappointed. I love this unit. Best all-in-one on the market IMO.

I have installed a dream mat on my mini max it catch’s the smallest pieces I’m really impressed

Thanks for the review I've been trying to decide between the mini max or the mini hog. I'm starting to lean towards the mini max.
Montana Treasure Hunter the versatility of the minimax is great, I have a review of the dredge adaptor. The mini hog you can feed faster.. I have had both.

You have to concrete your sluice box you do that by tipping your sluice to one side get rid of the water so the gold doesn’t move
You altered the design by adding the carpet in the front. The result is the heavy build up on the black mat which if filled to the top of the riffle. That makes that section useless as it's meant to catch the finer gold. With those riffles full it is not giving the water to slow down as designed, which lessens the chance for the fine gold to drop out. Good Video. Nice results. Good luck finding the shiny.
Thanks for posting. The only thing I see is... I think your water flow is too high! I see air bubbles under the riffles. My opinion only!
Joseph, the proporsional force of the water is causing turbulence giving the effect you see in the video. Connecting a ball valve between the pump & sluice will allow one to fine tune the sluices water flow.

Scrub those mats with a good soap. Just like a new pan ,clean well.
should have brushed a air pockets out on first mat.

Thanks for the info on this unit. But watching this to the end was like watching my grass grow in my yard . Maybe you can teach your life hand how to edit. Lol

how much tilt is it set at. i tried 1inch per foot but the riffles fill up before half a bucket.
