Hey Bro, Try some old winter pickup tire chains for wrapping the boulders you want to move. Straps on object are a disaster waiting to happen. Also place small boulders under the "Dead fall Bight", so you don't work two or more times to get the lift to the same height. Watch ur toes!! Good on ya!

Jeremy from Partridge Family prospecting suggested the same thing about the tire chains. Definitely a good idea

Nice video! Might try dropping the end of the sluice a bit. It will help stop the rocks from building up which can cause gold to wash out back into the water. Great close ups of the keene. Mine should be here in the next couple weeks. Can't wait!

Yeah I definitely need to figure out how to get it set up to run the best it can. Just curious to know what your planning to run yours off of? I ran a deep cycle battery that was good for about 5 hours, after that the output wasn't really strong enough to get the water to pump efficiency

I was wondering how long the deep cycle would last. I plan to run electric as well. The claim I'm on only allows electric. I've been considering buying a solar charger to hook up to the battery while running. Not sure how much it will help keep the battery going but trying to get at least 8 hours run time. Worst case I have to buy a second battery to keep going all day.

That was non stop run rime also, I wanted to see how long it would last. I could have conserved battery somewhat while I took breaks and when moving boulders

So far the little winch seems to work good. It definitely helped me widen out holes to work more safely
