First run of the Paul Jarvis micro highbanker running 40 mile pay dirt. Few things I did not intentionally wash the mat, it is stock oily. I wanted to run as is , just to see what it would do. I panned the railing and saw ~ 10 to 12 sub 100 and 200 pieces . I attribute most of that to the oily may.. I do plan to wash the mat and rerun the material and recheck . This is Prospectors Dream Mini Cell.

Rough attempt to make removable legs for a long tom. To clarify, I made the brackets that attach to the sluice, not the actual leg brackets, those are from Midnight Mining and you can find those on Ebay. . Sounds weird.

I’ve had one for about a year and I was watching pats video the other night and realized I was using the wrong mat so today I was in the garage playing with the minimaxx and my goldwell and I think I like my minimaxx better. It’s such an underrated machine
Ron I would junk the dream mat unless you can cover it with some woven wire. I have don a lot of testing on dream mat and it has no place in a dredge. Constant gold migration. I had gold from front to back and out the end.
I disagree I find that it is an improvement for capture rate and causes less migration
I'm definitely new to all this, but I bought into the dream mat and have used it quite a bit. It works great for super fine gold, but, one area I've worked has bigger flakes, and I've watched a lot of them migrate right out the end of the box. Even with the combo mat. It's really frustrating, but the black sand fills the bigger cells so when stuff starts to migrate it's just gone. If I have enough slope/water volume to keep the big cells clean then there's nothing left in the small cells. I watched them clean out of gold. To test this, I ran 1 bucket through the sluice then cleaned it out. Super good pan. Then I ran 3 Buckets through before cleaning out. Same exact setup and material. Almost nothing in the second pan. Got out the bigger combo dream mat sluice and ran 6 Buckets through. Almost nothing in the pan. I could see it start building up in the cells, then dissappear. Thought it just got buried in the cells. Nope. Tailings pile is full of gold. It looks like a great system on youtube, but after a lot of testing it really needs material classified to the cell size, if it's not, your losing gold. Just my experience, tried every imaginable slope, flow volume rate etc. Only way I'm catching much is classification and constant clean outs after each bucket load. I actually ordered keene 52s last night, hoping to salvage my tailings pile
Use dredge mat and Jarvis rifles and it will outperform any standard riffle setup. I had to fix your supermac 6 with Jarvis riffles because it was losing gold . I highly recommend taking out a section of those riffles and putting in dredge map. And do away with your miracle Matt in the side boxes add combo dream matt and you'll have a much better product 😁

have you run any material through that sluice yet with that pump? I am thinking about upgrading my 2 pumps and switching to one of those. Would like to know if the water flowing at that speed still allowed the gold plenty of time to drop?
I would use a Miller table to run that last pan down. Thanks for the run time

Montana Treasure Hunter the versatility of the minimax is great, I have a review of the dredge adaptor. The mini hog you can feed faster.. I have had both.

You altered the design by adding the carpet in the front. The result is the heavy build up on the black mat which if filled to the top of the riffle. That makes that section useless as it's meant to catch the finer gold. With those riffles full it is not giving the water to slow down as designed, which lessens the chance for the fine gold to drop out. Good Video. Nice results. Good luck finding the shiny.

You have to concrete your sluice box you do that by tipping your sluice to one side get rid of the water so the gold doesn’t move

I have been out of action for the past year with back surgery and limited to running some cons and pay dirt on my back porch. I really wan't doing any true testing, just playing around. All indications from quick panning of the tailing in that controlled scenario showed no visible color being ejected. Again, I was just playing around, so take that for what it is. Sorry, I didn't have a better update for you.
I bought one a year ago. Then I sold it becouse I needed one that dose good in black sand. I just bought it back and will use it for crushed specimens
LOVE MY MINI-MAX! PS...YOU'RE LOOSING WATER FLOW FROM HAVING THAT ELBOW ON THERE. I USE ABOUT 70 PERCENT OF FLOW.
I just bought this ridiculous 3300 gph pool pump for my sluice I built myself... 3 feet of capture surfface and only 7 inch wide. I made my own mats for it too. I'll be hooking it all up and testing finally this weekend. I just stuck the pump in a 5 gallon bucket and that was funny seeing how fast it got emptied out. It should be plenty of water flow. The discharge is 1.5 inch. I like your setup too..... Yes this stuff certainly is an obsession 😄 I love it !!!

I want a section of expanded metal and moss. I have seen others do full length and looks great. For me, I just like having moss in there somewhere.. lol
