And Kevin Sussman and Rainn Wilson are great choices playing variations of their long-time, well-known TV characters. As to the men are the enemy stance: the book is about a renegade in the early 1960s who was denied her masters degree due to SA, was living in a time when unmarried women rarely had separate bank accounts and were known as "Mrs. John Smith" and not their Christian names, and being a single mother had as much social stigma as getting cancelled on the internet does now, but with a lifelong impact. It was a much different world back then and there are relatively few people left now who were adults back then. This fantasy reminds women to guard against going back to such times.
I can't buy into fake smiles from TV programs. That goes double for game shows and talk shows. So when a host is truly smiling I hope it means they really feel they're expressing joy or excitement.
