Not that type of competition. He's about 15 stone short for that. He's a strong guy. Very strong. But he isn't going to be 3-400lbs+ anytime soon.

Hey Alan idea for a new video.
Talk about powerlifting numbers vs strongman strength. As in does having a big 3 equal functional strength? Like for instance my gym has strongman and powerlifters and some of the powerlifters can do more on the big 3 (not always deadlift) than the strongmen in the same weight class but would get hammered in a strongman contest by the strongman.

now that you are married with a small child, how practical is it for you to train as much as you need to for this competition? Any tips for people with busy lives, or is it strictly about budgeting your time accordingly?
I have two kids. You can find time, if you really want to.
He owns and works in a gym so he pops in and out in between clients admin duties etc. Having said that just going to a gym and not dealing with the running of it makes it easier to just train 😂😂

@@Pler1978 it's a beast. I love it. It is really the hidden gem in Rogue's lineup. It should be bolted down. I bought a lower crossmember to stabilize it. And it is fine for now. But it will be bolted into my platform eventually. The pin safeties are worthless. Did one workout and then went in and bought the straps. I wish I had the space for a Rhino. And the cash. Looking at the Squatmax but it's a low priority. Next up some iron plates. How's the monster you got?
Hey Alan so I lift weights, decently strong and lean etc..anyways I went to a marine PT with a few of my friends who were joining the marines..anyways I went in there and got my ass kicked..is this normal even for people
