- In this video we take a walkaround tour of the 2023 Chevrolet Tahoe High Country with the 6.2 V8 finished in Radiant Red Tintcoat paired to the Mocha/Jet Black interior. This Tahoe has the GM Performance Catback exhaust. The Tahoe is in it's third model year so it goes mostly unchanged however the High Country gets standard adaptive cruise control and enhanced emergency braking for 2023. The Tahoe and Suburban remain very popular but let me know down in the comments below what you think!

I had no interest in the sliding center console until I saw it was a great place to store a spare pistol and or mags. (Its Mississippi....we like our guns)
I think Chevrolet did a great job of reminding me how poor I really am
I rented this while visiting Dominican Republic and I fell in love.. ❤❤❤❤❤
Very detailed info 🙌🏼
Thanks Sergio!
Gorgeous. PERFECTION. Ultimate SUV in the world.
It would be a lottery purchase for me. That's a sweet Tahoe.
Thanks for the review!
I saw this and many other reviews just weeks before I purchased my wife one.
These reviews helps way more than words and specs.
Was undecisive what to get her for our 18 year anniversary so I researched and found this.
I have a 23' Escalade ESV and she wanted a similar car so I found out so late how similar in design Cadillac is to Tahoe because I'm not particularily a car dad.
She loves it so much that she always park infront of my escalade just so when family come over they can ask who's car that is outside...
Because I'm deaf I prefer the conveinent visuals of the OLED screen in the Escalade.
Lovin' the Tahoe!
Never own a GM before but welcome to the fam!
Congrats! Thanks for watching!
@@CarsMadeSimple They let me test drive one of these at the dealer and I backed into a pole. 😵😂
good video. Keep it up
Thank you!!
Good in-depth review.
Thank you!
The little cubby is a sunglasses holder since they got rid of it near the roof controls where there used to be a drop down sunglasses holder
Do they actually fit in there? I will have to try it.
Cool ! Too small for a gun !
Great review! I better start rapping if I want to afford this puppy
Nice❤
Great review!!
What would be your choice between the High Country & the Denali??
Great question! Styling would be subjective but personally I believe they are both very attractive on the outside. It would depend somewhat on the options you want but if you wanted to come out slightly cheaper for the same equipment, I believe the Tahoe High Country would be the better choice.
@@CarsMadeSimple I think so too. Thx 4 your reply
Isn’t the sliding center console locked out by valet mode ? If so , a great idea for valuables. Money, checkbook, gun, etc.
Great question. It very well could be as that would be easy to program and do for a safe storage spot.
No. It does not lock
I need my lottery money, I'd have one
were are you located?
Does a Chevy Tahoe 2023 have a TVs on the back seats option
Yes, the rear seat media system is available as on option. I filmed a 2023 Yukon that had this option so it will be shown in a future video.
Thanks for the reply and I will definitely subscribe
Wish they had an eco mode that spent more time in 4 cylinder on the freeway.
No, no, no! Those motors are terrible! And can fail in short order. I believe GM calls them their AFM series. Active Fuel Management. These are crap motors, just like their 3.6. 80,000 miles and scrap it.
It is beautiful and I love it but I can't ever afford one living on social security disability 😞
What kind of suspension does it have??
Coilovers suspension front and multilink independent rear. Magnetic Ride Control comes standard on the Premier and High Country (Optional on the RST and Z71). Also available is adaptive air ride with the max trailering package/Premium/Deluxe packages on Premier and/or High Country. The Z71 also can have the air suspension with the off road package.
@@CarsMadeSimpleAnd when out of warranty a fortune to repair.
No fog lights?
No
I dislike when the dealer installs stuff on and hikes up the price , what if I’d don’t want all those options installed ?
These are accessory options on the window sticker. This means they are part of the vehicle and cannot be taken off to lower the price. You can always buy the vehicle without the accessories and have them installed after but if they are listed on the window sticker, they cannot be refunded.
@@CarsMadeSimple they should then provide us with the stick exhaust and wheels they took off as well
If you buy them after the fact from the parts department, I believe you would get to keep the stock parts. It may be more expensive I am not sure.
Then go for lower model like LS LT RST or Z71
I wish for a diezle engine
It is available in the Tahoe.
Why Chevrolet Stop making Tahoe With gear shift lever ?!
Great question. It is likely due to packaging and the space that a shifter would take up.
Can't stand that the media display is built flush in the dash like the denali
Don't believe the price of this vehicle is worth it. You talking about a Chevy Tahoe gradually heading to six-figures in price. Might as well go for the Escalade.
It is all subjective. The Escalade will always be a higher price than an equivalent Tahoe or Yukon. Typically there is always a few exclusive features on the Escalade as well.
Yes sir! That’s right
Why ?
If you can't afford it just say that. Gr corolla is 40k+ lol
The only problem i have is that’s a freaking tahoe. I rather get a Denali XL or an Escalade Esv for that matter.
👋😄👍👍👍🍬
The kids are buying one of these, not leasing, so I watched a few videos on it... Oh man... What a mess. I went and pulled up the GM Body Builder on this 2023 High Country and about fell over. There are so many can systems on this thing that it is ridiculous, along with all of these modules. The worst part, these only come with a 3 year 36,000 mile warranty. I told my nephew to make sure he gets the longest extended warranty he possibly can that covers all of the electronic systems. A simple leak in a tail light assembly can cost anywhere from $5000 to $10,000 depending on if the tech can find the issue in under an hour or two. I simply see these a computerized money pit. And I have worked in many of these GM plants, and have buddies that still do. The electronics are sourced from the lowest bidder, most made in China... Then parts availability... No thanks. Lease, do not buy is my recommendation.
