They carefully control what is and isn't allowed to be said to such a degree that you'd think it's all fine here. In reality we have more daily COVID cases than the whole of Europe combined, 100 - 200+ deaths from COVID each day and the solution chosen to fix this after not bothering with much so far is to simply not report the numbers.

Even his own eSaftey Commissioner has pretty much said as such. The other issue is one he probably hasn't thought of. If social media is to be considered a publisher, then how does that affect the Media Bargaining Code that was just created? The whole point behind that was so that social media platforms were to pay publishers, but if Facebook are to be deemed one themselves then surely that renders the law pointless?

"As for ALP supporting the legislation. Who cares?" As for voting for the ALP, who cares? Why should anyone vote for the ALP, if the ALP won't fight while in opposition? As you pointed out the LNP would have gone to the cross bench to support the bill. The ALP didn't need to support it and had nothing to gain from it.
"the media would crucify Labor for not supporting it." Yes and Labor would have been crucified for standing for something. How is being the LNP's rubber stamp working out for them? Three federal election loses in a row. You are right, it is called politics for a reason. The ALP stands for nothing and has been in opposition for eight years. They just can't seem to get out of opposition can they?
What keeps the LNP in government is a spineless opposition that rubber stamps every bill the LNP drafts. Maybe you are unaware of the meaning of opposition. In fact, why do we need an opposition if they are just there to make up the voting numbers for the government?
Opposition parties don't win elections, governments lose elections. How badly does the government have to destroy the country in order for a weak, ineffective and spineless opposition can replace it?

Once the election is announced can you do a video on how to vote to avoid preferences going to libs?

@Kris Ellie i understand that but a breakdown on which parties preferences go where in a federal election is surely a national thing not state by state. Sure some parties may not be represented everywhere.
