It amazes me how much people who claimed to be believers have no idea what the Bible says. And how many pastors manipulate the Bible to say what "they" want to say. And this so called believers eat everything that is given to them. They are driven by what the pastor say, not what the word of God says. We need more pastors of integrity and honesty. Thank you, Paul.

Almost ALL preachers are CLUELESS LEADERS!!! Paul Washer doesn’t believe Jesus died for the World, or that you can repent and believe in Jesus, but that Jesus can only choose some people for salvation, without any apparent condition. Paul Washer is a Calvinist. Washer believes those who believe that you can repent and believe the Gospel, spoken by Jesus and The Apostles are false believers.

Sermons like this are keeping you saved and on the narrow path?? It's Jesus who keeps people saved and Jesus is the narrow path. The narrow path is not walking a certain way or struggling through life hoping you don't mess up. Paul Washer is a heretic who preaches a false gospel of self reliance. People like you have the audacity to believe that somehow your life is pleasing to God and as long as you do certain things or don't do certain things you are just alright. You live on a narrow path of self reliance. Truth is, I doubt you are saved. If you have never trusted Christ alone then you are still lost and in your sins. How can you know this? Easy...if you believe your salvation has ANYTHING to do with you, you are lost...

Often, churches assume those guilted into volunteering to run church programs - those are the “truly saved”. This makes it easy to pose as a believer - assuming because you do good works then you’re truly saved. But so many “do gooders” have ulterior motives (known and unknown) but are not hearing the voice of Jesus - only hearing the voice of the pastors. It is easy to gain influence and control by volunteering and giving. Paul knew how to tell the difference between those following Jesus and those not. The church today struggles to see the difference - because they assume following the pastors is following Jesus.

think JESUS said it best when the rich young ruler said this I have kept since my youth, meaning we do not truly know what lies within our darkened hearts even if we profess belief & serve in the Church, until we give away everything that we are currently imbibing on from the world for meaning & purpose for our life; we are not really believing the real JESUS because deep down inside our fallen nature is this throneroom where we sit & filter out GOD's commands & Sovereignty thru self-justification. You hear it from almost every pulpit, No you don't really need to give away everything you own to follow JESUS when that is literally what HE said to do before one can carry your cross. It's like having a carnal candy store to self-soothe yourself after each hairy encounter with the truth of CHRIST & saying no no I served this week, I read the bible everyday, I gave to the poor, I pray long prayers morning noon & night.
But you didn't & would never give the way JESUS commands us too. Saw this in movie on life of Paul where the beggars on the street all clamour to have him drop some coins in their cup & after he laughingly says to his spiritual mentor, I think it looks like I too will soon have to join them. To which his mentor say: And GOD will send you a generous donor to give to you. like are you not worth more than two sparrows?!
Literally goes against expensive giant library collection - book writing Authors who think it is about tithing only 10% of their massive income but still live in the lap of luxury while the rest of their fellow countrymen are living under a bridge. All the while defending themselves saying hey thou shall not covet thy neighbours things...uh huh sure, go build yourself another barn see where that gets you.
But this is the plight of man, the one who has power is the one with the greatest need for more power/money; hence why JESUS will ask for it all, if you stick around long enough, HE knows we hide out behind many varied things that we can see rather than shift our joy completely overnight to HEAVEN with HIM under HIS KINGSHIP. That would be a crazy life altering transition & all consuming commitment to GOD, but also why it is a lifetime of following... & talking & hearing from GOD, I personally swear my head off serving in the Church because I've lived all my life serving me/myself/irene.
Look pop-culture knows about us & our methods, and they get to mock us openly, but it is sobering to see it's truth ring true every time. We are a constant piece of work, but thank GOD JESUS loved us as much as HE does & remains committed.
GOOGLE: Exodus 15:22 - 17:7 by Pastor Justin Harris
A1 sauce all over this sermon, but seriously someone said it recently "false teachers" do not actually know they are false," the curse of sin/rebellion is more depravity bc GOD cut the rope, it means we can reject HIM & still be self-justifying ourselves, no HE didnt actually mean do that, I could never do that, it makes no sense to, I wouldn't have the ability to provide for my wife & kids. BINGO! You're catching on, that is the GOSPEL, we cannot which is why HE has to come & enter in & rebirth us & Philippians 2:13 us inside out.
Many false converts is true to Scripture, it starts with asking HIM in for real, not as life insurance & begging for your life at the altar like a corrupt tax collector stealing from every person you encounter because you're spiritual & morally empty. We do not serve others well because they have to give to us more than we give to them. But with JESUS, there is money in the bank [living water], but many of us still need to learn to draw from this spiritual piggybank rather than ourselves....so the sooner we run out physically, the more real our encounter with the Real JESUS becomes. Then THY will be done becomes 2nd nature.

What I love about coming into Lutheranism(LCMS) after leaving the Reformed persuasion behind is this. I wonder about my salvation? I point back to my Baptism as what God did for me, rather than something a country pastor did to me 14 years ago. I point back to God's Holy Word, what it says about Baptism. What God's Word says about the preaching of the Word. I no longer have a crisis of assurance like so many of my Calvinist, Lordship Salvation brothers see in their churches because my assurance is in God, totally, 100%. Each sermon we go to points directly to Christ. We confess and receive absolution every week. We receive the true blood and body of Christ. We study and learn about the Trinity, especially on Trinity Sunday(that was today).
God's grace is so grand and incredible, yet our faith is a simple faith, a child-like faith.

To me church is a hospital for sinners to attend and learn how to walk in the light, be refined. I've heard non Christians call people who call themselves Christians hypocrites- that's when I say church is a hospital for sinners, we are all on aour own individual walks and journey in Christ , some more maturer than others, he constantly refines us if we allow him. It doesn't mean we change over night, we are not perfect, we will never be because we were born into sin, but as we continue on our Christian journey through trials and tribulations we walk through the fire and get refined like purist gold each time if we learn to be content in every situation and submit everything to God. A church is a body of people , just like each part of the body needs the other to operate and help it along and can't operate alone in the same way the body of Christ (members of the church, us Christians) learn the art of reconciliation, unity, loving those when they are difficult to love in our own strength. We can not judge our brother or sister in Christ because we will to be judged with an equal measure from God, he is the all seeing eye, knows everything. We submit ourselves to him.
One thing I learnt recently. I use to ask God how can I serve you, I haven't this or that talent. I realised I serve him when I submit to his will every day, allow his glory to shine from within in and out to others , he shines through my motives, actions, words, that's true evangelism to unbelievers. It becomes a light like how moths are attracted to the light. Just love Jesus, submit to his will , ask to do his will not our own every day and to give us opportunities x

In response to what you said that the Bible teaches that one must be baptized….partly true. Why? First find out what baptise really means in Greek. The Greek word is Baptizo or to be immersed. The physical immersion is when one declares their faith in Christ, and they go through the ceremony which by the way, is a declaration of that person’s faith in Jesus. And the ceremony is not a must for christians. What the apostle Paul keeps teaching and even part of the prayer our Lord Himself prayed in John 17:3 is a kind or metaphor of Baptizo, that is to be immersed in the knowledge of God the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. That is to say, when one is immersed in water, all parts of his body is wet by the water. The analogy here is when one declares their faith in Christ, it does not end there. It becomes a must. One must seek more knowledge about who God is, who Jesus is and the Holy Spiirt through reading and studying Scripture. So much so, that your whole being is immersed and nothing in your being is left out of this baptizo.

When the people cried out on the day of Pentecost, "What must we do" Peter told them to "Repent and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit." Three thousand people were baptized and added to the church.
"You are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus, for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ...If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise." How can the church be contaminated with false
believers if those who believe in vain cannot be added to the church to begin with? In Acts 2, verse 47 says “the Lord was adding to their number day by day those who were being saved.” If they weren’t saved, they weren’t added to His church because the Lord knows His sheep and they know Him, and He calls them by name (John 10). If they do not really believe, God knows. If they “believe in vain” (believe Christ but won’t obey, 1 Cor. 15:2), He knows. Jesus said in Mark 16:16 that “He who believes and is baptized will be saved; He that believes not will be condemned.” So if they never believed Jesus to begin with, nothing else they do matters, and He will not add them to His church. But how can WE know who they are? 2 John 9 tells us that if they “go too far and do not abide in the doctrine of Christ,” they “do not have God.” In Matthew 7:16, Jesus told His disciples that they will “know them by their fruits.” If they obey the teaching of Christ and His inspired apostles, as found in the word of God, then you know they “have God” - both the Father and the Son; and you know they believe according to the word of God, and do not believe in vain. The problem is that too many claiming to believe don’t want to follow what the Bible says a believer must do to be saved. They “have believed in vain.” The Jews at Pentecost asked in Acts 2:37 what they could do when they believed and realized they were lost. Peter answered them in verse 38: “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.” Jesus told his apostles in Mark 16:15-16 to go and preach to all nations that “he who believes and is baptized will be saved; He that believes not will be condemned.” Believe what? The one way that Jesus has offered to save us.
Ananias told Saul in Damascus (Acts 22:16) to “arise and be baptized and wash away your sins, calling on the name of the Lord.” And in Acts 8, after Philip had “preached Jesus” to the Ethiopian eunuch, the eunuch became excited when he saw water and asked to be baptized. Why did he ask to be baptized right then and there after Philip “preached Jesus” to him? How did he know to ask unless it was part of what Philip preached to him when he “preached Jesus.”
Remember: Christ “became the author of eternal salvation to all who OBEY Him” according to Hebrew 5:9. If you are a true believer, obey the gospel today (2 Thess. 1:8).

I believe the title of this video. My pastor allowed me to preach “once” while preaching on sin, death and hell, I then preached Jesus life, death and resurrection afterwards and what it all meant. I asked how many of you believe this? I then followed up with, How many are willing to turn from sin and truly repent and believe on the name of Jesus? The sanctuary was quiet! Then I said, if you truly want to believe on the name of Jesus and be saved I will sit with anyone after church and go through the scriptures if you are serious about putting your trust in Him. Sadly, no one came afterwards. Others would go onto preach after that, play light music call people to salvation and say this is a safe place there’s no judgment, and follow up with I know there’s people hurting here today some of you have been away from the Lord, others of you have parents that have been praying for you. Then, it’s every one close your eyes if there’s anyone here today that wants salvation raise your hand! With eyes closed who here wants to follow Jesus? I see that hand, and that hand, Ok, with eyes closed everyone in the entire church say this prayer, dear Lord Jesus, I’ve sinned and I’m sorry etc. Now everyone open your eyes and give a hand clap to those that just made Jesus Lord and Savior I want everyone to welcome these that raised there hands and came up here to make Jesus Lord and Savior, and 99% we never see again. The worse part is the church is also contaminated by false teachers. Read the KJV 1611 yourself and learn to discern them both. It might even save your soul.

Take the NIV and trace the steps which manuscripts they used compared to the KJV.
All the modern Bibles come from the Greek New Testament by Westcott and Hort, known occultists.

The reason being is many put footnotes to declare "other manuscripts have ***, other manuscripts omit these verses," while the KJV does not annotate footnotes comparing it since the modern translations began coming forth after 1900.
Check footnotes for Mark 16:9-20 and Romans 8:1.
Others nix fasting, many omit Lord or Christ as well compared to the KJV.
Since I'm at work (on break), I do not have access to my notes or computer to give a list of verses that differ.
Also, why can't modern scholars agree on ONE translation? We have more than 70 translations alone since 1965. Is this necessary?
Lastly, modern translations mostly come from Westcott and Hort's work from the Codices Vaticanus and Sinaiticus, as well as others. These manuscripts were hidden for a thousand years. Why? Old scholars called them untrustworthy. These two disagree with each other over 5000 times in the NT alone because of errors. Yet, W&H "changed" the words thousands of times to dilute the Word and get rid of the KJV. They hated the good Word.
The enemy isn't going to change the Word outright but subtly.
      Spurgeon said wisely:
Discernment isn't knowing the difference between right and wrong.
Discernment is knowing the difference between right and almost right.

the first time i heard washer preach i clearly saw a man tormented with unresolved issues of RAGE
just as preaches will rant against the very sins that trouble them so washer may in fact be dimly aware that he himself is the false believer he rages at most
and the one most demonstrable error he had was his claim there are no such thing as carnal christians
those that deny this plain fact are always the most carnal of all
    washer is to be pitied.
and BTW i was converted by my own personal damascus road experience, not by mouthing some sinner prayer formula. and i lost the joy of m salvation when i started listening to preachers like this man
