I am a young woman and thank you for your Biblical preaching and I wish I could bring my parents to your church, they are so deeply rooted in modern evangelicalism feel good Christianity. My dad told me that I was an old fashioned Christian because I wanted to talk about sin. But, it’s not as simple as praying a prayer- we must live our lives in Christ and be transformed! Pastor McArthur is our modern era Paul. Preaching the Word of God in a uncompromising and truthful fashion in a world that hates truth and love lies and deceit.
That’s a ridiculous statement. Paul wasn’t rich. Paul was beaten, and almost killed many times, by his situation, or by the Jews, for preaching Christ. John is a multimillionaire. And he preaches in the comfort of his church to believers who think like he does. The idolatry of men is astounding.

Paul never forgot who he was in CHRIST AND THAT CHRIST WAS IN HIM and that nothing could separate him from the LOVE OF GOD !! Therefore he said to know HIM AND THE POWER OF HIS RESURRECTION AND THE FELLOWSHIP OF HIS SUFFERING!! I've been impacted positively by Dr. Macarthur for 30 years, and his preaching (along with the preaching of others) was used of God to bring me to Christ while I was Catholic. Here's a passage, however, among many, that makes me pause and exercise caution when I read the sacred words of God:
"In the time of Herod king of Judea there was a priest named Zechariah, who belonged to the priestly division of Abijah; his wife Elizabeth was also a descendant of Aaron. Both of them were righteous in the sight of God, observing all the Lord’s commands and decrees blamelessly." (Luke 1:5-6)

MacArthur's degree is in theology, not psychology. He pretends to be an expert in something he has not studied and no expertise in the area.
MacArthur self published a book in which was originally slated to be published by Thomas Nelson. However the Roys Report (TRR), published exposes of his book in which MacArthur failed to protect child sex abuse victims and excommunicated a mother who refused to allow her husband back into the home, so TRR refused to publish the book. Other Christian publishers also refused to publish the book so in March of 2024 MacArthur was forced to self publish the book through his ministry. You know when Christian publishers refuse to publish your work, you're too toxic.
