This song just illustrates how diverse Bad Omens music is. They truly can do just about any genre and do it well
This sounds like a song from the Viking era modernised
Has Celtic or Irish cadence to it. Really different and creative track from BO 👏
i’d also add Norse, i feel this could be the theme track for Assassins Creed Valhalla.
@@ihteshamkhan4696 if you want genuine traditional norse music listen to the band wardruna. Maybe start with helvegen, the vocalist is insanely talented.
I don't think Bad Omens will ever be out of surprises and that's a part of their beauty.
I personally love this song but it took me a few listens to really appreciate it (and then I had it on repeat for weeks 😅)
This song is so fucking perfect i can't
This is my favorite bad omens song
This was the first song I heard from them and I loved it. Months later I heard The Death Of Peace Of Mind and it took me some time to realise that it was the same band. I still love this song very much.
For me it was the second song. The first one was bad decisions. I think. Or maybe it's the other way around, I don't remember. But I, like you, thought it was a different band, different vocalist, it's just so different! I love this band! ✌🏻🤘🏻🖤❤️
This is my favorite Bad Omens song because it builds up so perfectly
the first time I heard this song, I was intrigued and confused, and then it hit that last part, especially with Noah screaming behind the gospel choir, and I put it on repeat-one and screamed along for the rest of my drive home from work
I saw a video where Noah was answering questions and he said this was one of his favorites song.
I personally love this song because of how different it is! It has a good sound! Not sure if you have, but check out the song blood or mercy. Blood is really different for them and I love that one.
Sidenote: I had to listen to this song a few times before I liked it, but it’s now one of my faves.
To me, it elevates me in a whole different level. Loved this band, they helped with my mental health during the pandemic.
I feel that
Thank you for reacting to this one!!! This is one of my absolute favorites by Bad Omens, and I don't think it's gets enough credit, it is definitely one of their more diverse songs 💕
Thank you for doing this one. This is one of my favorite songs from Bad Omens. Just hits home on multiple levels. Bad Omens can bounce around with their style a lot, keep you guessing, keep you on edge, keep you interested.
You should react to more songs from their 1st album since you liked Glass Houses: Exit Wounds, The Worst of Me, Reprise, Malice etc 🖤🔥
totally agree !
This is my favorite Bad Omens song by far. I've been on them since early 2018, and I'm so fucking happy they're finally getting the recognition they deserve. Easily the best new band of the last 10 years. This song in particular just has everything I love about them all in one place. It tells a great story, the lyrics cut deep, the sound has such a range, it just fucking nails it for me. So happy you're loving the band, Noah and the boys deserve every bit of it.
this is one of my personal favourite Bad Omens song of all time, if not my favourite. this one is completely different from the rest, but it’s incredibly powerful especially lyrically. song made me cry to be honest.
This gave me The Witcher vibes ! Love it ! It’s like telling a tale
This whole album is just 🤌I'd love an EP of more songs in this style with the epic drums and gospel infusion. Absolutely shows the band's range and diversity. Noah's voice is just incredibly versatile! I kinda want him to do an album of sea shanties too now 😅
‼️💯
I m glad you reacted to this one, it s so different from others, to me it's one of their best songs, also the vibe is sooo relaxing idk just love that one, it has a special place in my heart.
The beginning and end part always gives me linkin park vibes, love how different it is
Oh yes I've been waiting for someone to react to this
I love it! its got such an irish feeling to it haha like dropkick murphys
I actually found Bad omens via your reaction to The death of peace of mind, i fell in love with their music quite quickly and they are now one of my favorite bands. Somehow their music made me feel really peaceful after being anxious for a long time, so thank you for making these reactions! It's also always interesting to hear what you have to say about all these songs, great analyses and insights! Please react to The worst in me, it's an old song but definitely one of the best from Bad omens imo! :)
I really want to see you watch mercy of them , bad omens are incredible and so versatile
I promise you this; two more listens and you’re hooked! I was just like you at first when I heard it the first time but it cycled through a couple times and I really started loving it. Its just not like the rest and it stands out even more. Its so different I can’t help but love as much as every other song I’ve heard from the band.
I would love to see you review any one of their songs live. I feel like the love vocals are insane. Plus of course the band.
One of my favorite songs of all time
It's the whistling that gives me the Western vibe. The tribal drums throughout and the Gospel choir at the end give it an African/World Music quality. The guitars are modern rock but not super heavy. I love the lyrics, but they kind of get lost with everything else going on. Especially if you're already a fan of the band this one is so different that your mind is playing catch-up the whole time.
I really recommend Take Aim Or Give from Sleep Token, those songs are AMAZING! So very different from may ST song but still incredible!
i dont know if you’ve done it already but if not you should do The Worst In Me by them next 😌
Malice and Hedonist please, some of there heaviest stuff but so good!
You should react The Worst In Me or Mercy next!
You should react to “takes me first l“ from bad omens I know you’ll love that song and you should take a listen to one of their most famous songs called “worst in me”
This always gives me western vibes, and I also think of red dead when I hear this song. I know you’ve listened to dethrone, but you need to hear the live version of that song. It feels more heavy than the original. Deeper growls and what not. 🔥🤘🏻
This song is a mood song for me, I love it though, but its not a daily play.
Gives me a Nightwish vibe tbh
A lil bit yeah!
please please react to careful what you wish for (unplugged) by BAD OMENS
you should react to ''blood'' by Bad Omens, same album of kingdom of cards
I get strong African safari vibes from this one
PLEASE SEND ME A LINK OR NAME OF THE INTRO SONG IN YOUR VIDEOS BRO ! 🙌🏽😂
Honestly, your thumbnail was misleading to me; thought you were gonna hate it lol 😆
Haha I really be goin through all the emotions in my reactions 😂
Glad you got around to this… it’s definitely one of those odd songs. The type of song that doesn’t quite fit into a specific playlist. The weirdest part is that this was the opening track on their second album. You’re right though, it definitely gives off those western vibes but at the same time uses a lot of cool world instruments and then the kind of pirate-esque delivery of the lyrics. I absolutely love this song for how different and how produced it is but it’s not the sort of song I could play on a loop like a lot of other B.O tracks. Nevertheless, so glad you got to hear it!
Linkin Park's vibe
YOU ENDED EARLY! You missed the last part!
It's a viking western. Lol
Haha that’s a good description
VV - Loveletting? Why not...
Chester Bennington?
I dont know why, but this is a Song from them i dont like
It sounds like country Song to me
Then you clearly have no clue what country sounds like.
This isn’t country, is more of a Irish Viking vibes/African safari vibes
the intro kinda reminds me of chester 😭🤍 I absolutely love this song. i think it's very underrated
