I love your comment about the breakdown being appropriate for this song... many people have complained that it's too short but I agree with you. I think this whole record is so well thought out. Noah's using his vocals in such a strategic way - starting soft and constantly building, switching in and out of falsetto flawlessly and the subtle cries on "hardest" and "well" in the chorus, the whole second verse just keeping you on the edge with the different dynamics and throwing in the little scream on "so go the fuck away"... it's like he used that breakdown as an opportunity to just give you a little hint of a different kind of tone and then pulled back before it got too heavy. I personally thought it was done incredibly tastefully for this particular song
Love these guys, such a good sound. They been on the comeup for a while but I really think they're one BANGER away from really blowing up outside their genre. They got that "it" factor for sure.

I saw Bad Omens LIVE with Poppy last month, my first ever time, first metal show too! I traveled to Milan, Italy to see them (I'm European), last show of the tour.

I've been listening to them since 2018 - they came to Ukraine with headline shows and that's how I discovered them. So happy to see, that they are finally getting the recognition that they deserve😌
They came to Europe?? 😳😳 I really wanted to go for their show but I never saw any other shows than in America

thats not a band that i was listening i was there for beartooth. a day to remeber and the ghost inside but bad omens was the biggest surprise. the singer is absolutely incredible.if they come near to you go see them !

@@SeanStaxxMusic you would do yourself a favor to check out some of the older tracks as a comparison to these newer ones. They were good then but the advancement in Noah’s singing voice is dramatic. The second record has some great songs as well and they actually did an EP of some of those “unplugged “ during the lockdown
Great reaction! Just an fyi, the song was originally over 5 min but the band decided to make the extended intro it’s own song on the album. The intro is called “what it cost” and I recommend listening to it then listen to like a villain right after (you can tell where it’s been separated). I’ll link it here:

Believe it or not, I enjoy some of it! Sometimes it’s too heavy, my ears aren’t acquired to that sound yet but sometimes it vibes just right. I like Lorna’s new song cursed to die but not into the earth. Love listening to new sounds tho 🤘
