Bad Omens are so freaking versatile, which is why I absolute adore them. Bad Omens and Sleep Token are really changing up the game in my opinion, they're the ones to watch for sure...

BMTH belongs in that list too. I mean hell, Bad Omens started out heavily inspired by BMTh, and you can tell even was inspired by BMTH's new direction as well. A lot of metalcore bands are kind of following BMTH's branch off into mixing other genres, including pop elements. I just love how all these groups are proving that they can do pop better than the biggest of pop artists lmao.

@@Vanilja BMTH started as a deathcore band, and turned into metalcore. Bad Omens started more as a metalcore band. Similar style, vibe and writing. Once BMTH started to change into even less metal direction, so did BO. BO to me sounds more like a mix of metalcore + The Weeknd, these days. However, Noah is a better vocalist live than Ollie.
Noah can sing everything...from deep growling to angelic voice...such a talent...they have so many good Songs and every Song is different

You should honestly do Nowhere to go, The Grey, Limits, Never know (which has an insane chorus),Take me first and just pretend, theyre more on the softer melodic side like Death of piece of mind and Like a villain and they have a pop/r&b sounding song called “bad decisions”

"i dont want too much of one thing, i want it all" hahahahaha TOTALLY ME when it comes to Bad Omens... Every style they do, i simply love. If you liked most the other songs, i recommend you to listen to Nowhere To Go or Miracle, both from the last album 🔥
The pause on this song is absolutely genius especially because of how heavy this song is
i have adored them since the beginning of middle school when they were almost no one, now about to graduate high school and even RAPPERS are appreciating them. I just love that for them. im so happy they are growing. They are incredible.

This is definitely their heaviest song on “The Death of Peace of Mind” (their 3rd and newest album). The bands first 2 albums are a lot heavier and more traditionally “metalcore”. I think based on your preferences so far, you’ll love the rest of this album… There’s a handful of other songs from the 2nd album I think you’d appreciate too but otherwise it sounds like it may be too heavy. Either way, another great reaction!

You should check out Just Pretend by Bad Omens! One of their best songs. As well as the Grey and Never Know (Unplugged)

Edit: By the way, Bad Omens is fucking awesome. My favorite off the new album is Just Pretend, I can’t get the chorus out of my head. And if you want a throwback to a sound that really feels like old school Hoobastank to me, check out Nowhere to Go. Saw some others recommend Dethrone as well, which I view as a precursor to Artificial Suicide. The studio version is good but the live version shows off Noah’s screams incredibly well.
If you want the king of ‘bleghs’ you have to check Architects. Their older stuff though, as they stopped doing it.

I don't exactly love heavier music with all shouting/screaming these days but Bad Omens really reawakened the part in me that loved it!
I loved the "hes so angry" comment and in that tone. It was like you were so surprised 😂 though it's not a shocker considering the other songs you reacted to
Also, I just want to mention I came to your channel for the Bad Omens reactions and am currently watching them chronologically but then i also saw the bts reactions and now im watching both chronologically. I just realized that going from the BTS festa reaction to this literally sums up the gist of my music taste and I love my brain/taste for that 😁
Other than that, the heavy breathing and "do I like this? Yes. Was I ready? No." Was 100% my reaction too. I mean, my first song was Just Pretend, then I got into the album and Artificial caught me SUPER off guard 😳
True, the general sound in this is something we've heard before but tbh for this song the lyrics and meaning + the energy and shouting makes the song so much more unique bc as far as I remember at the moment, not a lot of somgs dive deep into the theme/topic.
