This is a classic case of “White savior complex.”
One that shook the people of Uganda. Renee Bach, a United States citizen, opened up a health center in Uganda. She was then accused of causing the deaths of 119 African children between 2010 and 2015. Renee claims she took 940 severely malnourished children and 105 of them passed away.
She had no medical training or license for her facility. And she was treating children who were almost on their deathbed.

I don't know why this man talking in this video thinks just bc this wealthy white woman went to Guana after killing over 100 africans, eventually saved them, and did good by them doesn't deserve time in prison. According to the National Institute of Health in the USA, around 250,000 US citizens die each year from medical malpractice by licensed medical doctors in the USA. She did not even have a college degree and was able to set up a health clinic in a foreign country and hire doctors and nurses, when usually a medical doctor would do that. It is all so sad and strange of the whole system letting people down, one has to pray a lot.
In contrast, about 74k Americans died from Fentanyl last year. Doctors are more dangerous than spooky opioids.
She was in a 3rd world country. Those children were dying. What were the mother's choices?
@@anniealexander9616 It is possible many more children would have died if she was not there, not much evidence presented for her guilt, doctors there could have better trained her, no evidence presented that she resisted training. It is possible she was horrible, but not much evidence presented, as she appeared to want to help and did hire professional medical staff. Yet, it was a good presentation overall of what went down there.

@blackcultureunlocked I like the options you gave at the end of your video. Being a Christian myself, I completely understand her actions. Where she went wrong and things got out of control was when medical procedures were being done. She had training for basic things but not for the immense issues that arise in villages and towns. She could have kept the orphanage and invested the money into medical professionals and such to take care of the children, not do the procedures herself other than what she had training to do.
Why didn’t she just go to nursing school?????????? Then go where she is needed
