Did you tried with pasting a big video file only ? Or like transferring only media files of that large size? Did it gave the same speed? I noticed that in my WB external Hard Drive there is a good difference of time and speed depending upon what type of file i am copying to it, and from it
as you can see i my video only 2 times I have transferred in 2 different system and the results were totally different and I don't think it should matter with the file what type it is the main thing what should matter is the file size

without a warranty how can I give for repair? if i take the recovery option with the amount of rs5000 do they provide a new hard drive as well?
For recovery i have mention the details and chargers are very high, you could get a new hard drive in that rate

Don’t buy Segate HDD. I lost my data even their Netherlands service centre couldn’t do the recovery. They will replace hard disk . instead buy SSD external which is more reliable
