Hey Shawn, seems you picked up a hater already but F 'em.
I was wondering if your area's trees are getting subjected to the same Blight mine are.
It's not exactly Dutch Elm but something with I think the word "moss" in it & what it does is to make the outer bark die & fall off in clumps & more than likely, mess up the inner parts of the tree, effectively killing it.
Beyond the bark looking like an animal did something but not really, the leaves / foliage get all dried & then you have branches falling off with dead foliage still kind of attached.
I wish I could remember the full name of this blight; it was featured as a news story in my area's smaller more local newspaper.
Luckily, it doesn't seem you're getting this blight from what I've seen so far, so that's a plus.

I think an additional skills class is a great idea. Especially topics where you can go a little more in-depth. The pay for class is fair because you are putting in time, experience and resources. Sounds like an idea to further build. Would it be a series of classes or individual classes? A recommendation…start off with individual classes and then assess. If there is an appetite for additional classes then evolve into a series. Again, great idea to further develop! Standing by to see what evolves. TVB…Bill

    Mr Kelly,
I have yet to experience a “bad” video produced by you. This one is in fact a return to basics, something you are well known for. But I am very interested to when you return to finishing the “tower”. My opinion is it would be awesome to see it finished in time for bow and or gun season for whitetail deer. Your expansion into bigger projects are inspirational. As always “Thank You” for all that you do it does not go unnoticed by your viewers and fans. Keep “Rockin with Dokken”.

You always seem to have a great way of clarifying things for me. I like the way you teach this as "This is what you do when you simply want to be left alone and not draw attention to yourself". Up until this point, I was under the impression that stealth camping was strictly for camping somewhere you didn't want to be caught.
Too many channels hype up the "Hey let's go camp behind a dumpster at K-mart! Look what I can do *illegally*! Here's a step-by-step process of how YOU TOO can break the law and simultaneously put yourself in danger! Next week we'll be illegally stealth camping inside a roundabout with cars whizzing by all night"
I also have to wonder about how many of these guys are *always* camping illegally on someone's property, as they never seem to even mention whether they have permission to be where they are.
In addition, I like how you emphasize that you're either on your own property, or have permission.

You need to set up your own version of Masterclass which is something I have subscribed to and there is a library of things you can learn: writing a novel, writing a play, learning to play tennis, learning to play poker, learning about directing, singing, etc., etc. You would create your content and then your subscribers would be able to select the course they want. Masterclass is taught by people that are masters in their respective fields. There is the the option that you could have some of the people that you mention in your videos serve as the subject matter experts and they would have a course or they team up with you. You can purchase a class for someone but someone can also have a subscription for a year and they would have access to the entire library.

Hey, those Sunfish to me were always the best tasting of all fresh water except of course the early spring channel cats. Nothing tops them in my OP. I grew up catching and eating Blue Gil and Sun fish. Yes, and I cleaned my own as a little girl. Moms rule was " you catch it; you clean it". Skills class sounds good especially if you include catching, cleaning and cooking game. I had to show my citified guy husband how to clean his fish the first time. Of course he developed his own methods afterwards. I also have the "catch it ; clean it" rule. 😀

Utreon might be worth looking into for a platform to use. If you're putting out a video a week for fees I would think a monthly sub of somewhere in the $10 or $3 a video would be appealing to most. If you have series with more than 2 videos maybe do a bundle per series around $7.50. Love the videos as always and was great to see a few of your classes at the event last week. I've watched all of your videos and continue to watch the new ones every Sunday. The views might not be substantial enough to warrant your time in making different ones- but those views however small they are- are views of people you just personally taught how to do something. You're a single person teaching what could be tens of thousands of people something(s) and to you that might be a failure as far as views goes but not many people have the ability or outreach to teach 10 people let alone thousands. and for that alone im thankful. Cheers!

If you make your pole and line the same length, when you pick your pole up the pan fish will come straight to your hands. Growing up using a long cane pole, I kept my line only a few feet long to get between cover easy and drop it in shady spots etc. I could also grab the hook and bow the pole it to walk through cover. Bigger fish I would tire and then pull the pole and line in like pulling a rope. Never needed a grip but a wrist lanyard can save the day. CC has been a weekly tradition for my son and I for years now. Thank you for your service and all the hard work these videos require compared to 98% out there. All the best and never forget. Mike.

I loved what you said when you found that worm top pocket. That's the very type of fishing pole I usually use when I happen upon a creek and want to fish. The only thing different that you did was put that handle at the bottom I hadn't thought about that and I will use that. You talked about the other channel you was thinking about putting out I'm all for that myself. A lot of your older videos have a lot of build in them which is great for all of the crap that's coming up and for the newcomers to Bushcraft as we all may need it someday. Thanks for the video have a great day and stay safe and don't forget to keep your powder dry!

I want to thank your for showing us how to install the grip on the pole. I took what you taught us and used the same game plan for a walking stick grip. 👊🏾💪 your the man! Outstanding!
