How unbelievable lucky the crowd is. Get to watch Khruangbin in this intimate setup before they blew up. What I would give to go back in time and buy tickets to this Bristol Sofar.
so so true. I heard them live in Copenhagen were I live and i must say, he is one of the best guitarist that I have ever heard and the concert was one of the best moments iv'e had with music in a long long time
it could be a bit more cutting but only because the bass is so mellow. i feel like its a great tone but dosent sit the best in the overall mix but hey what do i know
Totally agree. In addition to his tone, Mark Speer can play funk, soul, blues and shred a solo all in the same song and it all works perfectly and sounds effortless. Motherfucker can write songs that hit, too. Goddamn I love this band.
The second half of this song is my favourite piece of music from Khruangbin. It takes me to a place that transcends all, a place where I can forget about my humanly worries and responsibilities however temporary that may be.
Khruangbin is so unbelievably awesome that I sometimes think I must have dreamed them up in my own head. Then I come here to make sure they really do exist. My heart explodes!!
I felt the same thing first time I heard the Heliocentrics.....so unique and sublimely beautiful you almost feel as if it's a product of your own imagination, huh?!
I'm a rock and metal guy, through and through. But, I totally dig this fantastic, groove influenced, latin feeling, unbelievably cool sound. Love this band, keep on keepin on!
It's at St Werburghs farm, Bristol....gorgeous place! A lovely old fella called Graham built it years ago......lots of organic curves carved into the wood, like a hobbit house for hippies.
HAHA ... What constitutes as a ''better world'' for you ? Speciffically music, different from rap music that promotes anger and violence and swear words ?
Wow. Every time I stumble onto another video from these guys I’m in awe all over again. Super tight and maybe the sweetest guitar tone ever. Rhythm section timing is always better than perfect.
This upload was my intro to Kruangbin, almost a year ago now, like every other listener here I find them mesmerizing, they have hundreds of ideas and carry them all off beautifully.
Khruangbin really takes us to a place we haven't been to in a long time...peace of mind brought together by three peoples understanding of the need to provide a landscape of joy.
I love Mark Speer's playing but Laura and DJ must be one of the best rythmn sections working right now. Soon as she plays I feel my shoulders drop and my head bop.
@Luffaman, my most favorite band outta Texas is Commander Coady and His Lost Planet Airmen (except, of course, ZZ Top, and SRV, and Asleep at the Wheel; also, Lucinda Williams -- almost Texas, next door. )
Please could someone explain what makes their rhythm so special, there's something unusual going on between the drums and the bass, though it seems they play like any other band. Why is it so tight and warm?
Figure if I spill my guts she might catch wind. Can't hurt to try... so... I LOVE YOU, LAURA LEE!!! Haven't had a musical crush like this since... EVER! Your voice has sanded and polished so many jagged edges in my mind. Please don't ever stop serenading the world!
How unbelievable lucky the crowd is. Get to watch Khruangbin in this intimate setup before they blew up. What I would give to go back in time and buy tickets to this Bristol Sofar.
5 years later + and still groovin... this band is the most sublime, perfect inspiringly awesome musical find for me in the last 5 years.. hands down.

His tone is impeccable. One of the best, most original guitarists working today. Great band.
it's all in the fingers man

Y'all go watch Khruangbin's Rig Rundown.

That second part starting at 3:26 is just utterly beautiful.
My favorite part, brings out a strange emotion, can't tell what it is!
I LOVE IT! But in my opinion the end is too abruptly.
Defenitely the best
@@CM-sg5sy haha I know what you are talking about, that song deserved at least 3 more minutes
Indeed. It's sounds a bit familiar, is it a cover of another song maybe?
i hope khruangbin makes music for the rest of my life. fucking majestic.
Wish came true I think :)

woot!
Well said! They are incredible!
@@conman77 Agreed.
that bass line is so good
im fall in love wit her
Double L is a serious woman
It needs to be louder too.
So wrong. It's the sum of the parts. The band is greater than the pieces.
She moves so good, but you cant hear that bass. Drummer Is good, its like only guitarist and drummer play
I'm a rock and metal guy, through and through. But, I totally dig this fantastic, groove influenced, latin feeling, unbelievably cool sound. Love this band, keep on keepin on!
I always forget that I recorded this on such a makeshift sound setup. Was such a great night in a quirky little hut in St Wurburghs, Bristol.
Well you wouldn't guess it by the end result, great work! 😊
In my life full of pain, this band is a space of peace.
How are you doing now?
I saw these guys over a year ago at a Chicano Batman show. They were amazing & that bass player is such a babe.
Who's here after five years? This was the clip that introduced me to Ochoa, Speer, and Johnson.
Sitting by a lake fishing, listening to this and watching an Egret fly over the trees.... Majestic...
This is one of if not the smallest stage I've seen these guys play, but they still killed. Long live Khruangbin 🛩️
It's at St Werburghs farm, Bristol....gorgeous place! A lovely old fella called Graham built it years ago......lots of organic curves carved into the wood, like a hobbit house for hippies.
Perfect day to be watching this.
I had to triple check, BRISTOL, they played in BRISTOL.
Wow.
I knew the name of the band is Thai, but he also greeted the audience with Thai gesture. น่ารักมากไอ้น้อง!
What the name means?

Khruangbin makes special music, i can't stop to listen, i think it is musical hipnosis)) my gratitude for this guys and beautifull girl, i fly!
+Svyatoslav Artemov Thank YOU for watching :)
+Svyatoslav Artemov you're absolutely right. it's SO hypnotic! i love them.
Somehow, this comment is so much more beautiful and accurate than "perfect" English would be. They make me fly, too, Svyatoslav .
Love them.
lynks8 hell yeah
I love his guitar playing. He blends between rhythm, lead, and what could be a vocal melody all within the bounds each song. Very inspiring.
I listetn to these guys everyday while doing murals and paintings!!! all my clients love them! come to Australia soon!
Hey mate, I've been to their show at the Tivoli (Brissy). Did you have a chance to see them live this March?
I didn't realise how much I needed Khruangbin in my life, until i found them today
These guys make any scene soo freakin cool man
They could start another love revolution with such a sound, this is just pure bliss for the ears.
not really it's as boring as watching the queen making a non-significant speech #BORRRRRING!
Saw an interview with them where they said they'd love to perform with Sade..... That collab would actually make the babies for you........

August 12 is Mother's day in Thailand
Thanks. What about August 10th?
Andrew L. august 10th is the day laura lee’s grandfather died
this band were probably my find of 2015 - timeless music
I stumbled onto them on Bandcamp a few years ago. Glad to see them growing and progressing.
I literally started listening. So.glad!
their sound has evolved so much...you can hear Mark still figuring out the perfect tune for Khruangbin...
I think he figured it out with this song.
Aces. I love these guys especially on a smaller stage..
This track puts me in a trance and I'm totally sober😍
Laura Lee is so beautiful!
And funky too
I like what she's done with her wig.
Indeed
Her hip shake is mesmerizing

This is Music Therapy. TX a lot people ! Hugs from Brasil.
This group sound is international. I can imagine them in journeys through the Caribbean. They go from a to z in seconds.

Even without words this music still speaks to my soul!
Love the way they work together. What a treat for this audience!
When someone hasn't heard of khruangbin, this is the first song that I show them, I feel that it really embodies their sound perfectly
They're so confident to play anywhere, from big gigs to room sessions. So minimal music, so big message.
Khruangbin really takes us to a place we haven't been to in a long time...peace of mind brought together by three peoples understanding of the need to provide a landscape of joy.

I'm hearing so many world music influences in their music. And the bass player is a total queen.
I loooooooooooove the second half of the song from 3.30 onwards. i was searching for it on spotify like it was a different song
I get emotional listening to this bc it’s so good. I move to the rhythm of the high hat and the melodies touch my soul. Wow just wow
I agree
I love Mark Speer's playing but Laura and DJ must be one of the best rythmn sections working right now. Soon as she plays I feel my shoulders drop and my head bop.
A great band, love the bassplayer, dig the guitardude, understand the drummer.
Come to Holland!

I'm here to celebrate and honour this beautiful song on its due date.
Bass is outstanding and DJ Killin it, his timing is perfect
People we need to learn how to dance to psychedelic music again. Watch some old vid's from the 60's and lets get this party restarted!
we need to learn? i think i dont have to watch some old vids, because i feel it, and then i dance to it.:-)
..
It's coming back soon, comes along with legalization of psychedelic drugs :)
donat hensen, I don't think that you dance to it, more that it dances you!
yes but this is not jump around music imo.. for ex this kinda thing happens in small clubs in Brasil and they know how to dance to this.. as couples.
IM DOWNNNNN
When I first ran across this band I thought they were Scandinavian (Finnish, maybe?) no vocals and all; imagine that, they're from Texas, USA.
Well, copying psychedelic music from around the world is kind of their thing.
