*Works great and is lightweight **MyBest.Tools** Comes apart for cleaning/fits back together easily. It replaced my carpet shampooer. Great on hardwood as well.*
You actually can wall mount this unit. The wall hanger is already built into the unit as a left over from a previous gen of Dustbuster. That's the small flange you see on the back side of the base, just above the dust bowl. You will need to buy the wall bracket from B&D (or elsewhere) for somewhere around $5 - $10. Once you wall mount the unit, simply place the charger base on top of the now upside down unit and the Dustbuster will charge. You may need a bit of weight on top of the charger base to make good contact with the charging "pins" but not much.
I have this setup in my garage where a wall mount is the only way I could set the Dustbuster up.

Thanks for the video! What power supply does it have? I maybe moving to Hong Kong, and the standard electrical voltage in Hong Kong is 220 volts AC, 50Hz. I'm wondering if it would work without shorting after i plug it in. Thank you!

Ordered one and it couldn't hold a charge for ten minutes. I had it replaced, annnnnd the same thing. I want to think it's user error, but it isn't. This product disappoints.
Replace flap by the filter
bought a black decker cordles hand vac platinum model BDH2010LP why charging light doesn't work, what should i do to fix it?
reposeth I have the same problem with the charging light not coming on but I still think it’s getting a charge bc I’ve been able to use it consistently for over a year (charging light went out a year ago). I’m assuming it’s just a fuse to the light bulb for an indicator light and doesn’t actually affect the charging itself.
Is it 120v or 220v? Im going to buy at Amazon US and Im planning to send it in the Philippines.
It's 120v AC. The only things 220v in the US are large appliances such as laundry dryers.
I want to wash this vacuum and how do I remove (or can I) the battery?
It wasn’t as difficult as I imagined. So no response required.

There is no battery replacement for these. You can bye four lithium 18650 high current cells and spot weld them into a pack, but it is a hack job all the way. I have had a few perfectly good working CHV1410L vacs thrown away do to the batteries wearing out. It is too bad and a complete waste.
The charger looks flimsy

As I write this (Aug. 2019) it's currently recommended in Consumer Reports. So, I might get one. --But, the drop test in this video is meaningless. The guy drops it onto a rubber and carpet mat, which is on top of another carpet. The real drop test would be onto a hard floor, which is a real world scenario. I'm sure the plastic would crack in that case.
😳 You may want to reconsider dropping appliances with lithium ion batteries in them!
😬 They have a tendency to flare up/explode when damaged!
