  • DARPA's Learning Introspective Control (LINC) program is developing machine learning methods that show promise in making that scenario closer to reality. LINC aims to fundamentally improve the safety of mechanical systems - specifically in ground vehicles, ships, drone swarms, and robotics - using various methods that require minimal computing power. The result is an AI-powered controller the size of a cell phone. At Sandia National Laboratories' Robotic Vehicle Range, LINC researchers used U.S. Army robots as surrogates for larger vehicles to test their solutions, allowing the small vehicles to respond to obstacles in real-time. Experimentation will continue in 2024 in larger systems such as light aerial multipurpose vehicles and boats. More: www.darpa.mil/program/learnin...

"AI" in this case means combining moving averages to capture momentum and adjust the PID controllers accordingly.

Please give us a break with the Masonic numbers in stories such as that of the Ever Given They're plastered all over that story, which signifies that nothing about it should be believed, yet here you are, not only expecting us to believe it, but expecting us to 'learn something from it.'
All of this baloney gets to be tiring after a while.
Your videos are enjoyable, but not when you use theater to illustrate things.

I've got a way better idea than that. Plus its an intuitive design, simple, inexpensive and above all lethal.
