Welcome to our vegan organic grocery haul for our Plant Based Large Family of 7, we have a few great finds we want to share with you and hope you enjoy grocery hauls as much as we do. If you have a clearance section at your local Smiths or Walmart, go check them out! They usually have really great stuff!

Hi! We are Trey and Rosa, we have 5 kiddos and we moved from the big city of Las Vegas to the outskirts of Pahrump to homestead and grow our own food with the goal of self-sufficiency. We have a small homestead with Nigerian Dwarf goats, ducks, chickens, and also have cats and dogs running around everywhere and recently converted to eating a full plant based diet due to health reasons.
We are passionate about growing our own food, eating clean & healthy, cooking food from scratch, desert gardening and making simple skincare products for our family and for you.
We specialize in making 100% goat's milk soap using fresh goat milk from our own Nigerian Dwarf goats that provide the most moisturizing bar of goat milk soap you'll try. We love all the benefits of our goat milk soaps and find that it's great for skin conditions such as eczema, psoriasis, and dry skin.
"Free & Clear" dryer sheets are great. I can't use scented anything when it comes to laundry, gives me sneeze attacks.
Your kids remind me of my siblings and cousins when we were young. Making faces at each other, jumping in with our (sometimes unwanted) opinions, etc.

Hello! You should try some wool balls for laundry too, I heard those are ecofriendly, quite cost effective and works great!
I am an only child, never knew what it was like having siblings so I really enjoy the kids making faces (most of the time 😆)
Love the kitchen color! On the dryer sheets, we use the same one you purchased and like that it makes the clothes feel better with no added scent or allergies.
I want to apologize for my delay as we have been busy in the garden getting it ready for spring, but thanks again for dropping over the order. I use wool dryer balls. I used to do dryer sheets but the wool balls last much longer so you save money and they are natural!

@@thehaipath I am a sucker for a creamy sauce sometimes, so I love a roasted red pepper and tomato sauce or a tomato and harissa sauce with some cashew cream mixed in, I also like these kinds for baked pastas because I feel like they hold up really well. Oh and totally with you about the zucchini! Growing up my mom always used the yellow kind often when she made okra and both were coated in cornmeal and fried which was so yum!
Ooh a creamy roasted pepper sauce sounds absolutely bomb on the pasta! I will have to make some now 😋 I’m such a sucker for bad Carby stuff 🫣

@@thehaipath I usually make it with marinara, a ton of spinach, & the vegan parmesan I make with nutritional yeast, walnuts, sunflower seeds, hemp seeds, & a bit of salt sprinkled generously over top. I will sometimes add vegan sausage if I have it.
@@paulaleach6058 oh wow that nut vegan parm sounds delicious! I will have to give that a try, I've heard you can just blend up these nuts with nutritional yeast and sprinkle on top of pasta! Is this the same thing? We need to include this in our pasta rotation!
@@thehaipath Yes, that’s exactly what you do! You want the nuts/seeds finely ground, but not so much that you wind up with nut butter. I usually just pulse it until it’s the texture I want. I process it all together at once (nuts, seeds, nutritional yeast, salt). If you want additional flavor, you can also blend in garlic and onion powders. If you want it with some kick, you can add in cayenne or chipotle pepper. I generally just keep mine simple.

Morning Carol! Smiths is a Kroger basically, do you have Kroger in NY? We love smiths because their prices are quite alright and the customer service is great too since we do pick ups every week. Do you have a clearance section at your Walmart?
@@thehaipath No Kroger here. I rarely go into Walmart because we usually do pick up’s from there. I may have to change that now! What part of the country do you live in?

I really like your videos and I think it is amazing the way your kids can cook. I wonder if you have thought about using an Instant Pot/ pressure cooker for your beans? It reduces the cooking time drastically, is pretty hands off and cooking beans from scratch can save some money?

Yes! My husband and I started living the whole foods vegan lifestyle rather late in life, in our 60s, and we have regained the good health of our younger years. Better late than never!

Hi Terri, our oldest son was extremely unhealthy when he was eating animal products. He was 10 years old and weighed 190lbs, had breathing issues and sever skin issues.
My husband suffers from an autoimmune condition which brought him to a plant based diet, which has helped him heal and likewise has helped our son.
From this, we’re trying to make the healthiest choices for our family as a parent should do. We’ve done research and have found this way of life is truly the most optimal so we’re trying to transfer that knowledge to our kids. If they learn something else when they get older and decide to make a different choice, that’s their decision just like every single adult.
At this time, the kids are healthy, happy, not lacking a thing and thriving if you watch all our other videos!
We hope you do some research and try it yourself ♥️
not to be mean, but why don't you let your children experience the real world look products that they actually might like, just because you don't believe in it, you should not make your children believe in the same thing you do let them eat meat

However you’ve basically copied and pasted the same comments on several of our videos and we’ve responded to you multiple times about what our stance was and what we believe which is that we are doing what we think is the best for our children as this is our responsibility raising them and we know plant based is healthier, and that the kids do not miss out on anything.
At this point we believe you’re just trolling, but appreciate the engagement 😄
