Omg. You’re from Ghana. I love people from Ghana. No wonder I like you.
I’m from Ethiopia and I have worked with lots of people from Ghana , they’re the nicest people ever ❤️
I’m Eritrean who grew up in America myself and I agree. Every single Ghanaian I met, I am *not* exaggerating, EVERY single Ghanaian I met, which is many, has been just filled with so much decency, forward-thinkingness, and friendliness. All my life this has been the case. Can’t wait to visit sometime in the future (and try stews like this too 😋).
This love letter to your grandma blessed us so much ♥️
This is making me emotional. My late grandmother passed but she also thought me how to cook. I am grateful for all she did for me. God bless you for sharing.

I love how vulnerable and honest you were with your feeling while talking about your Grandma. I didn’t grow up with any grandparents at all, so I hope you cherish the fact that you have those experiences with her, as well as the fact that she is still here to talk to. I love how appreciative your heart is for her. 💕 See that type of love makes it easier to know how to raise your children and them to their future children, etc. Job well done Grandma!!
Thank you! I’m glad the love and appreciation for my grandma comes through! She’s amazing on all levels ❤️

Wonderful recipe! I love hearing stories about your grandmother! You are privileged to have a praying grandmother! I miss mine terribly.
Brought tears to my eyes because I also was raised by my grandma because my mom was in the states. She taught me everything I know. And like your grandma, she was a prayer warrior. I'm literally in tears right now. she passed away 12 years ago and I think about her every day😪😢.

Girl, thank you. Thank you for passing down your grand maa´s recipe to us. Beautiful. Good job.
Thank you for sharing this recipe and I felt the love in your storytelling of your grandma. I especially love that everything left over from the recipe had a purpose like the tomato juice for soup and seeds to regrow in the garden and even the oil reserved for making jollof rice. So much love, wisdom and blessings coming through 💕 thank you!
Girl, I just love your spirit!!!! God bless you richly and may He grant Mma many glorious years of good health and joy with her descendants. ❤️
Thank you grandma you are the best 👍 👍 👍 ❤ ❤ ❤.

She is Ga and Adaa 50/50. Our grandparents are a blessing to say the least indeed 🙏🏽😘😘
What a beautiful relationship with your grandmother. 🤎 I also had a wonderful grandmother growing up in Liberia, but I only had her until I was 9 yrs old. We called her Big Ma and we loved her so and she loved her grandkids. I miss her everyday. Thank you so much for sharing. I’ll definitely start doing the same with my tomatoes, it makes so much sense 😊
Touching and beautiful tribute to your grandmother.
Thank you🙏🏾❤️❤️❤️

I don’t come here for the food. I come for the superb articulation of describing what you are doing.
Watching from Hawai'i and I'm definitely going to try and make this!!!
Thank you! Next time I have 2 weeks to make a dish. I’m trying this. 😂 I’m blown away by the love and effort. No wonder African food tastes so rich! Complex flavor, deep and thorough. Thank you!
Feelings of longing to go back to the homeland to see Nmaa (Grandma)??? Their relationships with grandchildren are even stronger than the parents. Surely you need to go and see her soon once the health crisis is over. Nmaa (Grandma) please hang in there till Nanaaba comes home once more!!!! Got to give this recipe a very good shot soon. My my my gosh she looks rather strong for her age seeing her with her great granddaughters. Priceless memories!!!!!

Wow grandma, she did well showing you the recipe. Thanks for sharing
Grandma knew what she was doing! Very delicious looking! Your message to your grandma was beautiful 🤗💓
Thank you for watching this special video in its entirety 🙏🏽😘😘
What a beautiful tribute.......cooking is a science with complexity that we don't pay attention to when were in "Great Company". Food, just like love, brings us to people to learn that everything important, comes from the desire to give The Best Health possible. Oh what a blessing I am with from watching that video. I wasn't expecting that "Sister MADAME" I was watching the chicken curry coconut one then this one came on immediately after. Vulnerability requires it's attention. So thank you so much sharing that...kisses to Mama😘😍🥰🤩🥰such a treasure she is.....❤🧡❤🧡❤
Am emotionally touched rn, your commentary says a lot abt grandma! She sound Caring, sympathetic, sweet and blessed. You just made me wanna give her a big hug rn! God bless Gmom and you as well for hooking me up wit this recipe and prep💯

This is a life saver. Life isn't so bad as a bachelor under lock-down in a foreign land with such wonderful recipes :) :)
Oh my goodness! I thoroughly enjoyed this video!! First of all, it was soooo sweet and endearing to hear you talk so lovingly and emotionally about your grandma! So very touching. Secondly, when you said she would plant the tomato seeds my mind was just blown. It would never even occur to me. What a resourceful woman! And then finally, the recipe itself, the layering of the flavours, the explanation behind each step and the amazing result - just simply outstanding. Thank you so so much for such a heartwarming video♥️
Your words are spot on about this special recipe, special woman God has blessed my family with! Thank you for watching and for your kind words Sharon 🙏🏽😘
