I think your voice has changed, at least from my end of the audio it has. Maybe a fun thing to do is record your favorite tongue twister every month or so and then the following month listen to both the previous one and the new one?
Dude, it might be hard to notice on oneself if the changes are so slow, but your voice has DEFINITELY dropped noticably compared to the last video!!
Thank you so much! I think I’m in the in between stage, I just kind of feel like I’ve constantly lost my voice-which has been tricky because my job involves a lot of yelling 😆
@@pinsandweevils I recorded clips of myself singing the same song at 1 week intervals when I was on T, and it really helped me track progress. Before T, I was an alto/low soprano with some tenor range. Now I’m a bass who struggles with high tenor parts!
Pen angle and pen grip is very poor. Use original natural wax to save the environment.

I can't write nice letters, my first few sentences are nice and then my handwriting gets super messy
I still send letters sometimes though since it's fun and my friends like getting them!
Thank you! I feel you, I always start out with good handwriting and good intentions and then I get too excited about what I’m writing and write so fast that my handwriting goes downhill!
Your voice does sound different, although it took me a second to realize why! You have a lot more vocal fry than before, and that can be very subtle sometimes! Marius, try singing to gauge how your voice has altered. You may be very surprised. :)
This is a good tip. I didn’t see any change for three months, and then went out to karaoke with friends, and found my voice cracking all over the place. It can take a while, but it’ll change pretty abruptly once it starts.
@@kallandar13 Did you record your changes in pitch? Could be entertaining in the future, given some time and space. Cheers from Vancouver.
@@l.m.2404 I did! I actually picked a song and sang it weekly, recording the change. Had to shift it down the octave eventually, of course!

I also learned the old German script as well. I found it useful 40 years ago when when my dad started getting letters from elderly relatives in Finland. My American born father couldn’t couldn’t read their handwriting. Because it was based that old German script - Scandinavians who went to school between the wars were taught the pre-WW2 script. So he’d get a letter. I would read it out loud because I could pronounce the Finnish but not understand it and then my father translated from listening to me. A bit complicated but it worked.
If it works, it works! 😆 Yeah, I’m absolutely fascinated by the history of Kurrent and Sütterlin and really hope they come back into fashion
Glad you’re back! Just wanted to say that I completely forgot you went on T, and even without knowing, you read as much more masculine to me at the beginning of this video. A good sign, even if you don’t notice it yet! Also, are you German, because your pronunciation is flawless?
Thank you! I’m really self conscious about my German pronunciation, so that means a lot-I grew up in the US but my mom is from Bochum and I spoke a lot of German at home! I’m actually planning on doing my masters in Heidelberg or Bonn.

@@pinsandweevils Cool. I found some nice paper on Amazon UK called Three Candlesticks, seems a bit more reasonable than Townsend's (though not as lovely I'm sure). I'm obsessed with the Townsend's channel though 😂

My voice took 5 months before it properly started cracking so don't worry:) I think it's not only genetics but also age. I started T at 21 and I feel like it defenetly hit me (and friends my age or older) differentliy then it did ppl that start at 19 or younger.
When your voice first changes, your brain is still "calibrated" to your old pitch, so you may unconsciously raise it back up.
I just bought sealing wax. Kept looking dreamily at all those elegant letters in "Nicolas Le Floch"... :)

I learned Sütterlin when I was fourteen from a book I bought in Hamburg and used it to write to my grandmother, which she really liked because it reminded her of her own mother. I also wrote in it for the devious purpose of making sure that nobody else could read my writing in school (note: English writing in a script designed for German can be done if one tries hard enough!), which always frustrated my teachers.
Oh, yeah, I did the same thing! I wrote notes in Sütterlin because I sometimes zoned out in class and wrote short stories or story ideas, and I didn’t want to get busted by my teachers 😆

Hi! On the long s, there is a quotation to be added,
_the above rules do not necessarily apply to handwriting, as long s is generally restricted to being used before short s medially and finally (e.g. poſseſs) in most English handwritten letters and documents since the 18th century._

Which keyboard has Long S!?
The long ſ was used longer in American english than it was in Europe. Especially in handwriting. In print, it lasted until the mid 1800s in some bibles. Aside from the german sharp ß

Yes and no? My mother is from Bochum, I was born and raised in New York. But I grew up speaking German at home and spent a lot of time visiting family in Bochum and Köln as a kid, so I do consider myself at least partially German!

You gotta practice with some voice lessons (there's free ones on youtube) to train your voice down, the T only gets you so far. Thank you for this great video dude
First, your voice has changed very slightly...it went from sounding like a young woman to sounding like a young woman that smokes a pack a day...not where you want to be but still.
However, it has made a more noticeable difference at your jaw line.
Yeah, I’m at a very unfortunate stage where I just constantly feel like I’ve lost my voice. I hadn’t noticed anything different about my face, but I have to admit I’m flattered by that jawline comment! 😆

It took me about 3 years for puberty to really change my voice. I hit puberty when I was about 10 (young for most males) and it was not until I was 13 that people started noticing that my voice was deeper than most of the people in my class.
So before that, my voice didn't sound different enough for the kids my age to notice...and I am sure that if I was speaking with an adult voice with a bunch of 10 - 12 year old kids....I am sure people would have noticed😅🤓
