I made this recipe tonight and thought I’d share my results. I seasoned similar to her except for the slap mama season..I used a bit of old bay instead and a couple grind of bbq seasoning. I baked mine in a pan on a baking rack and covered with foil on 325 for 2hrs. Without foil for another 30 minutes then I based with bbq sauce and baked for another 5-10 minutes on 350 to set the sauce. FALL OFF THE BONE and sooooo moist and tender. I know I didn’t follow her exactly but she gave me a great base start. I just thought from my experience with my oven that a full 3 hrs on 350 without foil would have given me a dryer than desired result
I'm doing it your way then I'm going to finish it on the grill after! Lazy grilling for Thanksgiving 😂❤
Thank you for sharing this!! I made this recipe in July and it was way over cooked.. tonight I’m trying your time & temp in hopes of juicier results!
@@szarahsshow5321 did you try? I’m planning on making it again for a dinner this weekend..I’m having guests over so hope I can get same results as I did last time!!
Making this right now, will update how it turns out :)
Just finished and these are the best ribs I've ever had 🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤
We just tried this recipe it came out so good my grandmother who passed away 2 years ago today used to love making ribs. So we made ribs today for dinner in her honor. thank you again for the amazing tips this made our day very special
Sorry for your loss.....Grandparents play a uniquely special role in a child's life....ALL 3 of my children cried like babies when my mama passed (But one wld seriously have2have known her to fully comprehend the tears n sense of loss)
Watched this video and literally went out out and got a rack 5 minutes later. I may not be eating them till almost midnight but I'm so excited. The house smells devine. 🍻
That’s so dope!
How’d they turn out?
Divine my friend. The wife thought I was a madman but wasn't complaining helping me finish em off the next day
No aluminum foil? I’m asking cause I’m cooking ribs now
I feel you, my exact experience 🤣🤤
One thing to note! The only way they will be fall off the bone is if you cover them in foil don’t just let them cook in direct heat for 3 hours. Ended up with garbage ribs
The main thing she misses saying smh
Thank you for saving me on July 4th. I ran out of propane on my grill preheating it. I decided to look on CZcams for a recipe to cook in the oven. Yours looked the best and very easy to follow. Great job !!! They turned out delicious. I owe ya !!!
I love your recipes! So does my family. Thank you for sharing!
This is really the best rib video I’ve came across. Not gone lie I was skeptical because everyone always says wrap the ribs in the foil. Let me just say this is my second time doing it your way and the come out BOMB every time !!!!! My boyfriend hates everyone else’s ribs but I made him try it and he tore them thangs up 😋
I bet they smacked 💥!

This recipe is 🔥. I made it for my wife and it came out absolutely delicious!!!
I'm doing this tonight! Your ingredients are always stuff I already have on hand. Love your videos!
Southern BBQ folks here, trapped in the Great White North and I would never have thought of doing ribs in the oven. But the need for the great taste and appearance of your ribs, has driven me to putting this on here in the onset of winter in Michigan. Can't Wait, it's going down now! Will complete the post in a few hours. Beautifully done, taste great!
Will definitely give this one a try! I recently made your Creamy Pesto Chicken and my son said "you've outdone yourself this time" lol. Just recently came across your channel hence why I am some 8 months behind!
I had some flat ribs and found your video. I’m a big lover of lots of space so I did your recipe and oh my gosh it was fantastic. Thank you for sharing this recipe to the world
I literally come back to this video every couple months to make sure I’m doin my ribs just like this!!!
Do you cook them uncovered
Me too 😂
Yes on a cookie sheet or shallow casserole dish@@TPfromtheD
Thank you looks easy and delicious will definitely try your recipe!
I've used this video every time I've made ribs (zero memory retention) with my own lil additions ... and I'm about to do it again 😏
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
did you cover the ribs in the oven for 3 hours?
I thought I was the only one that has to rewatch videos Bc I don’t remember shit lol 😂
“Im about to do it again” 😂😂😂😂
I did this recipe today for my daughters birthday. It came out perfect, even with dad doing it! Everyone loved it! Thanks for sharing.
Did you cover the ribs up in the oven?
@@Kearathomas96 I know that is my question. I always bark mine then wrap and fill then bake more then unwrap and bake to finish. These seem too barky and dry to me but they do look good for a non wrap
In the oven now, thanks for the video👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

2nd time back to this video !! First time was AMAZING so I didn’t need no other recipe 😍
I just made these ribs, according to your recipe. Absolutely, Absolutely...delicious. Thank you for putting this on CZcams.
You’re so welcome thank you for watching
I tried this recipe out for testing purposes for Thanksgiving. They came out delicious! Tomorrow is Thanksgiving and I'm rewatching the video for my Thanksgiving dinner! Yum!! 😋
Pork or beef? Covered or uncovered in the oven?
@@syrisocasio8707 I did pork and it was covered.
I wanted to see it come out the oven.😊 Thank you for sharing making it now.
Thank you Island Vibe for this rib recipe appreciate you😊🦁 and you added my favorite sauce sweet baby ray's best sauce me ever used
Thank you 🤍 I’m trying this here in a minute!
We made this recipe and it turned out soooo good! Thank you for teaching us all the steps!
I just tried your recipe today and its amazing! My family enjoyed the ribs so much! Thank you!
Did you leave the ribs uncovered? Or did you wrap in foil?
@@destinymontoya1001 i tried this recipe about 4 times already. They’re on the oven as I write this lol I’m obsessed. Anyway, I don’t think she covered hers so I never cover it. I do a little less than 3 hours under 340 because my oven is too hot. Hope this helps.
@@taismadelene was it still falling off the bone uncovered?
Best ribs I’ve done yet, thank you so much!
Love your channel you give me confidence to cook like no other could, bcus you keep it simple and honest. Thank you 🙏🏾 💛 & Stay Blessed!!!
amazing. We all loved this recipe!!!!!!! the ribs were delicious I will be making this again for sure !!!!!
I’m on the second time with this recipe. I overcooked 1st time but they were still incredible. Tonight I’m gonna nail it.
Did you bake them covered or uncovered?
Same! The heat was too high and ruined them. 300 is much safer for this recipe than 350! LOL! Don't do 350, y'all. When you do 300, they come out perfectly.
Looks delicious, thank you! Glad I stumbled onto to your video. I want to cook it today.
I tried this recipe first time I ever made BBQ ribs in the oven and Wow!!! Delicious and so easy to make !!!
My go to video for tonight’s dinner. Haven’t cooked a rack of ribs in YEARS so Thank You 😊
Never knew to take membrane off..Was game changer to get flavors all through the meat tytyty
I will be trying this recipe for thanksgiving!! Thank you!! And Happy Thanksgiving to everyone!! 🦃 🍁
Came out great. For my sauce i mix sweet baby rays, honey, garlic powder and a bit of Cayenne pepper. Has a really awesome kick to it. Using your dry rub and mustard steps tonight though when I cook for my lady.
I’m going use the ingredients you put in the rays, I can’t wait to see how they come out
That sounds delicious 😋 gonna try that, thanks for sharing
I cant wait to try ur way. I use same ingredients but put into br sugar&use dry mustard instead. I cover mine w\foil& bake 21\2 hr at 300°. + I cut my ribs apart before rolling in rub& baking(pack close in pan.) Drain juice then bbq like u did. I like the crust urs get. Gotta try soon. Thanks
Skip the salt if you use the slap-ya-mama seasoning.
It has a lot of salt in it and people can always salt their ribs to taste after they are cooked.
But that's a minor/personal thing...this is a road to great ribs!
I was wondering if Slap ya mama had salt in it. Thanks for the info.
I do inside the exact same thing I only use slap ya momma
Im 17 and about to make this for my family as a nice Memorial Day dinner thanks for the help! I’ll update how it turned out!

Just followed this recipe! My ribs were sooooo good & my boyfriend loved them 2! Will use this from now on!!
I’m making these tonight. They are currently in the oven. Yum! I can’t wait.
I tried cooking my ribs on my grill and I think I did too many coals and it was way too hot it ended up charing one half really bad. I needed to figure out the temperature to continue cooking them in the oven so I came across this video to see how it's really done.
So far I done two videos with your bomb recipes and you have never let me down! That Slap your Mama seasoning though I got to look out for, thanks again.
5 minutes under the broiler at 500 F. Comes out perfect.
I'm a cook and let me tell you this recipe is so very easy, amazing and full of flavor. I love mustard! You can't really taste it but it's there ya know. It's the glue of it all. 😜Thank you so much for sharing
♥️
Do I need to do anything extra for the ribs to be tender? Bake Covered or uncovered ?
@@bcollins1911 hello there. I would cover it. Than when it's almost done, uncover and add bbq. Hope that helped. 😉 Enjoy.

Hello! I have just come across your channel and after the first video I knew I had to subscribe! Girl... I am loving your recipes! Thank you!!!!
Just like my moms! I wanted to have some ribs the way my mom used to make them. Though all I could remember was she used mustard. When I saw you start off with mustard I knew the recipe would be good! And it was very good. My family really enjoyed them.
I cook my ribs in the oven. They where very desired and every one enjoy it.
Love the video. I did this recipe today && my ribs are in the oven now!!!! Can’t wait to taste them with my Mac n cheese, greens && biscuits 🤤 yasss!!! Thanks! 🙏🏾
May i ask you how your ribs came out with this recipe, because i think 350 degrees Fahrenheit is way to high.
I love your moniker.

I have a half a rack of bbq ribs in my oven right now. I used mustard, No Salt Seasoning, and Mrs Dash salt free Southwest Chipotle seasoning blend. My bbq sauce is going to be Maull's Genuine Sweet and Smoky. I watched your video this morning. Your ribs look totally delicious. Thanks for sharing my sista. Have a wonderful day.
I made this last night....Delicious 😋
Rose I did my ribs but I used the country ribs they came out great thanks
Fantastic video overall. One tip that a big tablespoon works great to get that membrane up then off. I add some brown sugar and I use a bbq seasoning blend. Oh and I do mine meat down wrapped in foil. Sooo good!!!
Cooking it wrapped in aluminum foil does that make the meat sweat and reserve those juices so that it doesn't dry as much?
To Alohamu: A good idea would be to boil the meat for a few minutes to get the membrane off easier.
why face down?
@@ruben4282 so the juices fall towards the meat

Looks delicious, I'm gonna give it a try this weekend
I made ribs with this recipe and it turned out delicious and fall off the bone tender! 👍
Also, I used the leftover seasoning in the refrigerator inside a closed container for 1 month. Put on a slab of ribs with the membrane on and placed in a crockpot on low for 7 hours added bbq sauce. It was finger licking good. The membrane kept it together but tender to cut.
Making this tonight! My house smells amazing. 😋
New and loving the recipe!!!
Mmmmm sooo good!!! I loved it i didnt have slap ya mama or onion powder but it still came out sooo bomb cant imagine with it 😍🥰🥰

Hi Rose!!! I had ribs a few weeks ago. I made them in the Crock Pot. Never again. They fell all apart. I picked the meat off and gave it to my dogs. I have half a rib in my freezer I see. I will give your recipe a try for sure. Your ribs look so...Yummy. Great Video.
Uhhh, you coulda made saniches with that meat. Bbq pulled pork is the best.
You gave the meat to your dogs when onion powder and garlic powder can kill them? Yikes. It causes the red blood cells to explode.

Not only that....first of all pork is not good for the dog at all👎👎👎👎😦😩😛

I’m trying this again today. I went way to hard on the black pepper the first time. I’m using the grinder today so I don’t repeat that mistake again. The recipe is awesome. I’m looking forward to eating them without my mouth burning.
Thank you so much for this awesome recipe! I used it and it’s tasted deliciously fantastic!!
I had never made ribs in my life however my family wanted to have a rib off and I wanted to try my luck so I entered as 1of 6 contestants each person had to make 3 racks of ribs each of our ribs were labeled 1-6 I watched this video at least 20 times and followed her directions to a tee and I ended up winning the rib off people liked the tenderness and the zest all the seasons added I made my sauce a little different by adding siricha and mustard to me sweet baby rays but they turned out awesome!
I believe you meant SRIRACHA.?...🤔🤔 though you didn't mention whether you used the powder or the sauce ? !🤔🤔

Looks yummy, but I coat with 'Extra Virgin Oil, and I squeeze and orange on it--it gives it a tropical delicious taste, and the juices it leaves on the bottom are devine!! Plus don't forget the garlic cloves in olive oil-I rub that on as well, plus cilantro, basil and oregano!!! ;)
Look at you. I’m gonna try those ideas. Thank you.
Plus I’d change for sage, parsley and thyme. Everything else sounds great. Get going on your cookbook.
