8:20 Sheera's right. Carmilla's entire scheme against Dracula was to deceive and manipulate Dracula's court against him. So Isaac, being completely loyal to Dracula and unable to be manipulated, did not even register to her. Hence he is the least interesting man in Dracula's castle from her perspective.

shoutout to the captain who shifted issacs view on life with a simple conversation and a drink of lime juice , you can tell it left on impact on him especially considering at @14:31 issac starts to make lime juice for hector.

Fun fact about Lime Juice.
Scurvy is a decease that people get by not having enough vitamin C found in fruits and vegetables.
Sailors usually die of this decease because fresh produce is not available on long voyages and the lack of knowledge on why Scurvy happens.
Sailors thought that drinking liquor would stave off scurvy when they notice that the heavy drinkers did not get scurvy at all.
It was later found out that it was the lime that they use to complement the liquor's taste was the actual cure.
This is why experienced sailors like the Captain in the show had lime available in his quarters.
They may also be why pirates are mostly depicted as drinking.
In their minds they are self medicating and having fun too
And when Isaac asked Hector wanted and he answered, Isaac said he shall have it. That was a really great scene, Isaac reflecting and taking on the characteristics of the man who had the biggest impact on his character after Dracula's death.
Issac in the beginning of the series: I'm going to make the world a better place and rid it of humanity.
Issac now: I'm gonna rid the world of trash people like Carmella and that magician.
Isaac: ..and then teach people how to be better
That pirate he met along his journey really changed his perspective, its really simple why not build instead of destroy. It's really simple but the guilty truth is that ive never thought about that alternative for isaacs character.
Making his own utopia does fit his character more, if you look at him as a child he had unconditional love and he followed the teachings of mohammed. I feel like as a child he couldnt understand why he felt compassion when others didn't and it twisted his reality
She would've killed Issac if it were a one-to-one, she went out like a boss by defeating all his minions and then did a Kamikaze move and took herself out.

Issac gave something to Hector that he never knew he needed until now. He became Hector's homie.
Isaacâs main night creature is from the games. Thatâs Abel, one of his most powerful Devils that accompanied him. And from what we saw of him in action, Iâm surprised he hasnât appeared sooner.

When I first saw Carmilla throwing that big ass table like was nothing and then moving to absolute clap that random demon cheeks it gave me huuuge goosebumps
I didn't remember it when I first saw this scene, but when Isaac squeezes the lime in the water and says to Hector "Then you shall have it", everything from the squeezing the lime in the water to that phrase and giving the person he's talking to the cup is what the captain of the ship did with Isaac.
I love how much Hector and Isaac mirror each other. Even their character arcs are basically just them becoming more like each other, with Hector becoming more shrewd and less trusting and Isaac learning to trust and see the good in the world. Makes sense why they're friends and why Dracula had them work together.

carmilla and all the sisters were some great fucking characters bruh, they did them justice with how they ended their story, especially striga and carmilla with both having some darn bloody animated fighting scenes but yeah issac is the best character for sure, even better than our main trio lol
This was honestly one of the best episodes of this entire series. Carmilla popped off! But my man Isaac came with ALL of the smoke. Frickin love Isaacâs character and his growth honestly written so well. So glad yâall watched this series. Canât wait to see your guys reaction to the rest of the episodes đ
When dracula talks to isaac and isaac asks him whats the first thing he said to him. Isaac said "ive never been afraid of death, it always seemed comforting". Now his last line is "i want to live"

16:30, NO, I don't think he's ever smiled like that. He's smirked and sneered and grimaced đŹ. But I think that was the first actual "satisfied" smile we've ever seen on him.
Iâm pretty sure in the original Castlevania games, the demon that was fighting with Issac is Hectors familiar called âThe Endâ.

Apparently they weren't going for Jamaican but another African dialect which was more accurate to how he spoke.

The river of blood in Carmilla's room is an homage to the legend of Carmilla, the mistress who was said to bathe in the blood of young beautiful women in order to keep herself looking young.
As for the explosion: a similar thing happened to Dracula when they killed him, remember? That massive cloud of damned souls that poured out of him? That is simply how powerful they are. Carmilla basically used her own vampire magic to blow herself up, and that explosion is a testament to how absurdly powerful she was. Carmilla is one of the most famous and powerful vampires in legend.
That legend is about Elizabeth Bathory, nor Carmilla who was completely Le Fanuâs creation so far as I know. Nothing like it shows up in the novella either, unless Iâm misremembering.
@@fraelikkriil830 The pool of blood may not be mentioned in the novella itself but it was confirmed that the legend of Elizabeth Bathory influenced Le Fanu's Carmilla. Maybe just another example of Mandela Effect?

@@PhumKaeos They are unlikely to have an Isaac v Hector even if the series carries on. Of all the complaints this adaptation had that change was the one thing that has been universally praised. Networks tend to build/keep what fans like.
It is funny that in Castlevania: Curse of Darkness: Hector is the main character and Issac the bland villainous antagonist, but in the show Issac has the best character growth and even the final fight scene, it really gave me vibes of the game where the Devil Forger is fighting the boss alongside his Night Creatures/Innocent Devils, Issac even has his own âThe Endâ Devil (the cool Lucifer looking devil) but itâs a pale-blue/silver like colors instead of Hectorâs who was yellow/gold.

I think the explosion is just something that happens when high rank vamps die brutally. The more powerful, the stronger the explosion, Godbrand just turned into a strong fire for a minute, but Carmilla and Dracula both turned into some crazy shit.

Carmilla's case was so tragic. Her whole being was dedicated to revenge for the world just crapping on her. But she was never able to move past it. She did do her thang in this episode tho. skill

For anyone that didn't know it was Varney who set up all of the connections between Hector and Saint germain and dragan etc. It's his grand plan and he's orchestrated all of it. This is backed up by the fact that Varney tried to recruit isaac to help aid the return of dracula but failed miserably and managed to get blocked

Isaac's character development really is something else. Season 4 is the best example
5:18 The reason he didn't do that earlier is because the curse (caused by the ring) prevented him from doing that.
The only way to remove it was through something that can counteract the effects. Isaac's knife was capable of nullifying magic to some extent. Hence, he used it remove it.

This episode is legendary! Both Isaac and Camilla popped off. I knew from the moment you guys started this show you were gonna love Isaac. And even tho Camilla needed to die it was still sad to see her go but at least she went out in a bang. Her fight scenes were amazing

So fun fact about Carmilla's last stand, the purple flame you can see is one of the hottest flames, burning at around 1400C (over 2500F). She literally unleashed hellfire.

I didnt even notice the symbolism with the limes in regards to Issacs character growth. Last we even seen those was at the start of his character transition back at the ship in season 2 đ

This is straight up my favorite episode of the entire series. Between Isaac just all-around being GOAT and the amazing animation and fight choreography, this episode is the best.
I do find the end of the season feels rushed, and I remember hearing that there was more to St Germain that got cut. Like, his motivations were shown to be wrong from the start, which some of that still made it into the show. Ever notice how the woman he dreams about never speaks?
She doesnt talk because of budget cuts its the same thing with the vamp generals in season 2.
@@classicslayer456 The cut reason was he didn't really care about her as a person, more as an object. She was supposed to reject him near the end, but they rushed it. Like the knife.

The demon fighting alongside Isaac is called Abel, and was his sick kick during the boss fight between Hector and Isaac.

It would've been nice to see a forgemaster vs forgemaster fight or magician vs magician to get a better idea of the power scaling when it comes to humans and magic. In the Curse of Darkness game Hector was considered stronger than Issac.
Neither of them are anything like their game counterparts, though.

In the Curse of Darkness Isaac was a red head Thankfully the cartoon changed Isaac's character. he was the best thing in this show. Glad he didn't have a fight with Hector. It would have sucked to see hector die.
When I first saw this episode I really thought they were gonna do us dirty and kill Isaac as soon as he said "I'm going to live." Cause that's a flag more red than Carmilla's war room.

I saw other comments calling isaacs demon looking guy a "guiltless demon" or something to that effect. Basically he made a perfect creature instead of the usual twisted ones
