- This bench was made of the french bed's headboards. Here you can learn how to create an old rustic look on a piece of furniture by layering the chalk paint.
In this project I am using:
Dark blue chalk paint from the local diy shop mixed with sawdust as a base cover.
Layers with Annie Sloan chalk paint:
Giverny
Svenska Blue
Duck Egg Blue
Honfleur
Black
and some dark brown varnish
i have mentioned a small side table i have painted and uploaded a video earlier.

Can u tell me if u cleaned & scuff sanded before u started painting this piece please? Or did u just start painting it?
with the the rough way I am painting I never sand the wood before I paint. Just clean it with detergent and vinegar.
It looked great with just the blue. Now it looks like something to throw away.
