  • Hi Friends!👋🏻
    After weeks of eating like garbage and not moving my body, I found myself in a heavy fog. Low energy, little to no motivation, bored with food choices, feelings of depression-- it was all connected-- and it's eye opening to see how the fuel we put in truly affects the output. I was tired of the damaging cycle, the unhealthy habits I was repeating every day. I was just tired--running on E. Each day we have a choice-- a choice to be healthy and do right by our minds and bodies, or a choice to continue the harmful, repetitive cycle that makes us feel like exhausted lumps. I told myself, "no more"...and I meant it. Today was the reboot of my healthy lifestyle. The day I decided to take back my energy, motivation, mental clarity...all of it. I owe it to myself. I owe it to my body...because this body has been damn good to me! Get cozy--it's a long one. Enjoy, my lovelies!!🖤

    I started going back to school part time, 3 weeks after my son was born. I work part time and learning to become a new mom has postponed my fitness goals. My son is 9 months now and now its time i make myself a priority I recently started waking up at 4am. Its crazy. But it gives me 2-3 hours before he wakes up and before work/class to get my fitness/me time. Ive noticed a huge difference in my attitude. I started WW two days ago and im so pumped I found your channel! Looking forward to see more day in the life videos and ideas for things to eat!!

    loved your video....Your relationship with your kids is so appreciated. I love children! Been a teacher for 38 years ( just lost my job) and retired early. Anyway, I love to see happy, smiling children and that's because of great parenting. Btw, you can boil the pineapple "peel" that we all throw away.. It makes delicious & healthy tea!

    Oh my word, I am exhausted watching what you do in a day!! I am 67 years old and obviously an empty-nester, but I don't think I ever did all that you do. Your children are adorable and so well-behaved. I love that your little one snuggles up with her big brother. What a beautiful family you have. You're an inspiration to many.     I am so much in the same position you’re in right now. I’ve been binging for the past 3 weeks on stupid Peanutbutter pretzels. Affected my mood & motivation too. I felt in a dark place for 3 weeks. I’m on a restart beginning tomorrow. I appreciate your sharing & I identify completely with your feelings. I must also begin my walking again too.     This was just so relatable in so many ways. I agree with you 100% with getting up and working out. That definitely is the golden ticket. Your kids make me miss those days so much.     Amen! Life is hard and we need to be well-fueled to handle it all. I feel like crap when I eat crap too. Your kids are so cute. I workout in the morning too, because I am just too spent by the time the day is over. So if you ever think you're only one up with the birds and working out, you aren't alone. I think you're great!     Totally relate! Whenever I take a break basically from taking care of myself, I feel so much worse! I try to be patient with myself but also try to understand that prioritizing my health and wellness makes such a difference across-the-board.

    I'm so glad I listened to you today!!!!! I'm on WW since Jan 20. I lost 80 pounds, I fell Nov 6,21. Broke my left hip. Spent 3 months in rehab. Came home in Feb 22 and can't seem to get back on track!! Help!!!

      Hi Phyllis!! Oh my goodness! I am so sorry to hear about your broken hip🥺. I hope you are healing well❤️ losing 80lbs is a HUGE accomplishment and you CAN and WILL get back on track! Whenever I’m trying to get back on track, I make a list of reasons why I am on this journey and keep it somewhere I will see it often. This helps me keep my goals in sight. I’m actually in a similar boat right now-I’ve been under a lot of stress with my children being sick and I’ve definitely been eating my feelings. As a result, I feel sluggish, my mood has been poor, and I just feel very blah. Usually after a few days/weeks of feeling like this, I am able to get back on track because I’m so tired of feeling miserable and tired. We can do this together!!💪🏻❤️

    time to have time for you. Since you have so much
    Going on throughout the day & night.
    I need to plan & eat the meals (3) to stay on plan.
    My kids are grown so it is easier for me to fit in time for myself.
    But there are times I just don’t do it & I pay for it.
    Just take time for yourself…..you will feel so much more positive.
    You owe it to yourself & your family.
    You are great!

    I’m feeling the exact same way as you! I’ve been in a funk, busy with my kids and letting myself fall by the wayside. If it makes you feel better, I recently found your channel and you are serious mom goals to me! I have a two year old and a four month old and I feel like I’m drowning a lot. Trying to lose baby weight has been difficult with being a busy sahm trying to potty train while also wrangling a little baby 😅

    New follower of yours! I know you can’t reply to everyone and you have probably answered this in the past but I am curious if your husband and kids eat what you eat or if you make separate meals for them? That is one of my big struggles when I’m trying to eat right.

      Hi Kara!❤️ It’s definitely not ideal at mealtime over here, but most of my kids are in the heart of that horrible picky stage where they only eat nuggets, pizza, and Mac & Cheese🙈 it makes it a little easier on me because their meals are super fast to prepare…but I still feel like a short order cook most nights between the 7 of us🤪 My husband will eat the same foods as me, thankfully! But if he’s not feeling what I’m eating, he knows he is left to fend for himself😆 it’s not easy and I empathize with this struggle SO much❤️

    I really think junk food has a mental effect on us. The show “ fit to fat to fit” is a great example. Alot of the fit trainers get grumpy and in a fog after forcing themselves to get fat on junk food. And then they understand the struggle to get fit again

    I'm in a similar position at the moment, first it was my daughters birthday then it was Easter and I'm now just recovering from having covid and I'm really excited to get back to some good habits once I'm feeling better. I'm sick of all my excuses and looking forward to making progress again! x

    The struggle bud is here in Rhode Island and it’s parked at my house. I too have been struggling with sweets my minds is always on candy since I have not been sticking to ww. I just can’t seem to get back on track!!!! Everything you are saying I am feeling. But we can do this👍❤️

    Peroxide & spray dawn should take the torpedo pop out of your curtains. It took red wine out of my white down comforter. Might have to let it soak for half an hour

      Hello! You are so very welcome! Thank you for watching and being so sweet🥰 I currently get 16 personal points per day. When I filled out the questionnaire on the WW app (which you can take and retake as often as you’d like), there are several questions about food preferences and the way you’d like to eat (aka if you’re a snacker, how often you enjoy eating fruits & veggies, picking from lists of foods like full fat dairy, meats, sweet & salty snacks, refined grains, fast food, etc. and deciding what you eat “most days”, etc.). It’s a very straightforward quiz-you just answer honestly about the way you currently eat and it determines (based on your answers) your daily points budget & your free foods! I absolutely love carbs (🙈) so I still have to be mindful even though they’re “free” for me. If I have brown rice at one meal, I don’t allow myself to have it again that day (or I split the portion I have between meals). I hope that was helpful!☺️❤️

      I usually do 30 minutes of cardio (usually elliptical) to get myself warmed up and then I purchased an app called “Alive By Whitney”, which I use as my guide for strength training. The app is incredible and really guides you through each movement & how to safely perform it (highly recommend)! I was a super newbie to weight lifting and it has been a fantastic tool to get me started😍
