Hi, with the cement mix that you used and the sub base underneath (was it concrete), did you use sand and cement to fill the joints or did you use a pointing mixture which is porous? Thanks

Nice one. I'm about to start 30m2 of slate @ 40cm mortar. How do you calc the amount of sand to cement for that volume of mortar 5:1 ? Thanks.

I'd recommend using a slurry mix of sbr with Portland cement on the back of the slabs mate👍

Plus you shouldn't have a grout line over 4 slabs minimum
