@@marias6583your hands are personal to you yet you don’t have them covered up and you shove them in everyone’s faces. Women simply existing being comfortable in their own skin does not equate to them shoving it in your face.

"So if they fail to respond to you, then know that they only follow their desires. And who could be more astray than those who follow their desires with no guidance from Allah? Surely Allah does not guide the wrongdoing people.
Wait why does Jesus care what we wear? Isn't that super mysoginistic? If dressing with what we feel good in is a sin, what power do we have over own bodies?
But yet it's this same people who call us sluts or too provocative if we wear short stuff. Face it.. You can't please human beings so do whatever the f you want.
Muslim women do not compromise their faith for the sake of liberalism. Muslims have almost two billion "It is not for a believing man or woman-when Allah and His Messenger decree a matter-to have any other choice in that matter. Indeed, whoever disobeys Allah and His Messenger has clearly gone ˹far˺ astray." Muslim women experience true freedom when they willingly submit to Allah, not their husbands, as some may believe. contrary to what some may think. On the other hand, exposing their beauty for all to see does not represent freedom, but instead, a form of enslavement.

Ok then, why are children wearing a hijab? Their parents tell them it must be done. If you said no to your hijab let's see what you post about your parents reaction. You are forced by religious indoctrination from a child, if you questioned it and refused to wear it, THEN you know how you'd be treated. Oh yes, the hadith of poor Sauda trying to relieve herself and pervy Umar follwed her and dictated Muhammad tell his wives to cover up shows it is not about anything religious. Sauda couldn't even do something private without a nasty man spying on her. You live in your brainwashed version.
I love modest fashion, it’s so easy to look “good” with showing off our body but takes creativity and style to still look beautiful covered up modestly. It’s beautiful and your style is awesome 👏
Using the term modest pertaining to ones wardrobe makes me wildly uncomfortable....I don't think it should ever be used to describe how a woman styles herself (makeup, clothes, etc). I think it is detrimental to women
When the Bible tells us women to dress modestly, it isn’t referring to how much you’re covering or showing, but rather refers to decorating yourself in expensive things that hold material value. The Lord does not care how much we show or hide, and all women deserve to be respected for dressing how they like
It means both. You can't dress like a hoochie if you're a practicing Christian. That's a no, no. Our bodies are a temple and are not meant to be shared with everyone. Only between your spouse and the Lord.
I started dressing modestly late in life and wish I had done so sooner. Going on near two years....two summers without sunburns is the first big plus!!
Not a Christian, but someone who loves old fashion. I own floor-length skirts that I wear in public on occasion. People will stare me down to the point where I panic. I'm not someone who dresses modest regularly, and I don't think I could with the amount of attention it gets me.
I’m a fellow Christian and I just found your channel! I always see fashion channels but they never make modest clothes, so it’s nice to have some modest CZcamsrs!
I’ve always been modest, and I’m even wearing a white cardigan over my wedding dress. I’m more comfortable with just my future husband looking at me than everyone else. It’s my prerogative what I show to the world.
I've gone back and forth between modest dressing and dressing to show my body my entire life and not one person has ever asked me why or made any nasty remarks thankfully. I'm not sure where you're getting these hateful comments, but I'd just ignore them and go about my day because a strangers comments mean NOTHING. Like less than nothing. They aren't even on the radar. That's what I find SO silly about people on public comments 😂 They don't matter. But it's a feeling of superiority. Even I know the comment I'm making right now is going to go unnoticed, because it doesn't matter!! That's the beauty of it as well 😂
(I’m a Christian) personally the reason I dress modestly is because it makes me uncomfortable to wear crop tops/super short shorts/etc, and also because I know that even if I did God doesn’t even see my sin because all He sees is the blood of Jesus. When you’re under the law, you sin more and when you’re under freedom, you sin a lot less (automatically, not as an effort).
I started my hijab and modesty journey a year go, midyear during my time at a new school. My sister and I got called called grandmas for the scarf and the loose/modest clothes we were. I went off on the dude who said that lol. I'm honestly so glad I did it because dressing with more revealing clothing always made me so insecure. I'm so glad others are recognizing the beauty of modesty too. It's refreshing to see after everyone saying dressing too little is 'empowering'.
Modest- Adjective Latin/French(?) Definition- "dressing or behaving so as to avoid impropriety or indecency, especially to avoid attracting sexual attention (typically used of a woman). "the modest women wear long-sleeved dresses and all but cover their faces" (of clothing) not revealing or emphasizing the figure. "modest dress means that hemlines must be below the knee" Note - I wear shorts at times, so I don't agree that women have to wear shorts below the knee. But that's my personal opinion. Do I wear capris and skirts and dresses below the knee? Yes. But I also wear shorts and dresses with hems above the knee at home or in the yard or to leave the house - when I want to, or when it's the only clothing I have available. I don't necessarily like to, but if needed, then that's my choice. It doesn't always matter in my life. I wasn't convicted to wear modest clothing like some Christian women are. I wear long skirts and dresses because that's how I'm comfortable. It's not anyone else's business how or why you dress the way you do.
Thank you for your comment. Christians do not forget what God wants; as you assume but they sold out Christians for liberalism and the LGBT agenda, as their beliefs are not based on reason or rational thinking Muslim women do not compromise their faith for the sake of liberalism.
A couple of translations for you: 1) "You couldn't possibly have thought for yourself and come to a different conclusion about modesty than I, a feminist, have." 2) "Wah! Give me visual access to your body! Wah!"
Purity culture makes us believe that dressing modestly is the capstone of womanhood. Sigh. Modesty is a requirement but doesn’t and shouldn’t define us.
Oh, that sounds cool. It's a shame that most ppl who promote modest clothing do so out of superiority complex or slt-shaming. But I think, when wanted for the right reasons, modest clothing is a needed diversity. I don't find very tight or revealing clothing to be attractive at all, and think there is more ground for creativity in "covered up" clothing. Maybe the term "modest" should also be changed to smth else.
Do you know I’ve often considered not referencing it as modest and just simply showing my outfits, out of concern that people are assuming I think it’s, as you put it, “superior”. Which I definitely don’t, but I do keep that in mind 💚
As someone who dresses both in men's XXL baggy modest clothing, and in some pretty punk less modest stuff, andbwho supports women and men wearing as immodest or modest stuff as they want, this is bullshit People can dress however they want!!! It's okay if you personally don't want to dress a certain way, but don't judge others for their decisions on how they dress! It doesn't affect you! If you dress modestly, that's great! Don't judge or insult people who don't! If you don't dress so modest- that's great! Don't judge people who do!! Life is so much better when you dress how you want, and support others dressing how they want without judgement too!!
Ohhh yesss and the question; don't you wish to show more skin? Like NO! We do not want to look like the unbelievers in this world! May God Bless your modesty journey! I am so proud of everybody who is trying!
YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW ANNOYING IT GETS! When I dress modestly people think I’m trying be white….I’m sorry but I love feeling adorable from fall-spring but will be a full blown hermit with 65 degree ac in the summer
lol I remember when I started covering up a bit more, my husband thought I was depressed and kept asking me if I was okay and why I don't wear my cloths anymore. I had explain to him why I changed things up a bit and give him a hug to reassure him that I was okay. he even asked if I was going to postpartum lol.
This is great. be like women Muslims who are almost 1 billion, dress modestly. Their faith supports them because is based on reason and rational thinking.
I love when people say 'but you have such a nice body, why cover it up?' or 'your baggy clothes make you look heavier.' Loooove that. Thanks. How about we stop objectifying or caring about what a person's body looks like? Maybe I just feel most comfortable not showing you my shape, no matter what it looks like? Fuuuuck.
I think one of the most empowering things as a woman this day in age, is dressing modestly and knowing you're valued without having to show your goods to every body and their mother ❤

Anyway I was at the local shower taking a shower, literally a waterfall with a 1x20x8’ rock separating the men’s side from the women side, a guy on the men’s side forgot his soap. I’ll never forget how apologetic and embarrassed he was covering his pênïs with his hand, not his testicles, apologizing the whole way as he scooted over to get his soap.
The moral? Even though the only thing his culture thinks needs to be covered is their pênïs they are a very modest group.
@@marias6583your hands are personal to you yet you don’t have them covered up and you shove them in everyone’s faces. You need to realize that Christianity preaches modesty in women because not doing so will “tempt men” which fucks up their plan of purity. Women’s body parts are pieces of art whether they’re displayed in a museum for everyone to see or locked in a safe in someone’s house, the art being covered up or not does not make it lose its value or lower how much respect it deserves. Women simply existing being comfortable in their own skin does not equate to them shoving it in your face.
These are fuckin' hilarious! The best answer to all of them is "who cares" lol 🤣
Keep wearing modestly cuz you look beautiful it suits you❤❤
I love that you dress modest! Thank you! It helps me to not feel alone:)
Modest is self-respecting and classy. Classy is better than cheap and easy any day, all day.
I think dressing modestly as a Christian is a beautiful and wonderful thing. I usually find the most rude comments come from women. Real men are usually admiring or complimenting how I dress. Keep dressing modestly because people respect those who respect the body God gave them.
Thank you for your comment. Muslim women do not compromise their faith for the sake of liberalism.
To be honest with you, I am not surprised that Christians compromise their faith for liberalism and the LGBT agenda, as their beliefs are not based on reason or rational thinking
أنا مسلمة واتفق مع كلامك
Yes! I was dressed like I was in the 1960s at the store the other day and very covered up, and a guy said he loved my outfit :)
People should respect all people, No Matter the clothes 🙏
But we came naked, human's didn't dress for few thousand years of our origin. Stop putting people who don't believe this down.
1 Timothy 1-3 in the Bible explains why you should wear modest clothes
We should just dress in what makes us feel comfortable! If you like what you wear then I am happy for you! We should never dress for the approval of others but to make ourselves comfortable and happy wether “modest” or not 😊
You do you girl, as long as you dont push it on people or judge others for dressing their way that's awesome. I really like your sweater!
Jesus said to judge righteously John 7:24
The best fashion is modest fashion ❤
Fashion is subjective. That's the point. There's nothing wrong with dressing modestly, but there isn't one "best" way to dress.
@@minnowartscrafts It's the best for me tho. If you think otherwise that's a you problem 🥰
@@vineyard3273that was literally their point. It’s subjective. So to YOU its the best type of fashion but to someone else it may not be. Which is why they said it’s subjective.
My muslim self feels all of these
As a Muslim revert I RELATE TO THIS HEAVY.
we can't forget the "but aren't you soooo hot??"
I've been called grandma as well by my own family in my age group.. But i make it cute and it never stops any man from trying to cuff lol it was a best decision ive ever made and it makes me more creative trying to figure out ways to make my outfit look cuter. Holy Spirit told me to wear what i want but to keep it modest and i was like, "i can do that." Lol He told me that when i was going off the deep end and started dressing frumpy because I had been through stuff and was trying to cope but im happier and it was very healing for God to give me this word
Christian’s actually encourage modesty so whoever said that should take it back..
(I’m Muslim I just know a bit about other religions)
I believe in this current society it’s more important than ever for Christians to dress modestly. Modest never means dowdy or unfashionable! People are weird😂
I saw someone say you're losing your culture because of modesty and how they feel bad for you 😂😂 Yeah cuz sticking to your culture just HAS to mean wearing less 🤦♀️
I mean some cultures traditional dress can be considered non-modest to people outside of that culture
I've been dressing modestly ever for the past year and it makes me feel so safe and comfy. It's the only way I can leave the house.
It’s okay as long as you don’t put down other women
I dress modestly when I’m not attempting to because I simply just do not like to accidentally brush up against people when I leave the house
I think some of these comments are defensive from women who have been shamed into modesty. I am immodest and proud. You do you. Nothing wrong with a fashion choice.
Sometimes I just want to be half naked sometimes I want to look like a boy sometimes I want to be covered up
Why can’t we wear what we want. I always say
I didn’t ask for your opinion
Modesty was never a thing. Women in biblical times covered their entire bodies. 2023 and modern fashion causes us to dress showing off way too much skin. Stay holy girls❤❤
Thank you for your comment. Muslim women do not compromise their faith for the sake of liberalism.
To be honest with you, I am not surprised that Christians compromise their faith for liberalism and the LGBT agenda, as their beliefs are not based on reason or rational thinking
For instance, the concept of the Trinity.
from bible:
God cannot die vs Jesus died(1 corinthians 15-3)
Jesus was and is a man. vs God is not a man Numbers (23:19)
nuh uh. it's never too much skin. don't complain about being shamed then shame.
We are Christian and dress modest and feminine! All Christians really should be dressing modest, it is a sad commentary that most do not know that, but the Holy Spirit will get a hold of their hearts if they die to self daily! Stay positive, humble and modest for The Savior!
Thank you for your humility. As a Muslim, I empathize with my wife as she endures comments from those who claim to be truly following Jesus when in reality, they are only pursuing their own interests.
"So if they fail to respond to you, then know that they only follow their desires. And who could be more astray than those who follow their desires with no guidance from Allah? Surely Allah does not guide the wrongdoing people.
"all christians should be dressing modestly" how about all christians should be minding their own business and not judging others for how they dress?
Wait why does Jesus care what we wear? Isn't that super mysoginistic? If dressing with what we feel good in is a sin, what power do we have over own bodies?
i hope you keep being judged the way you judge others ❤
@@neonloneliness1💯 cuz Jesus cares more how you treat others than how we dress.
I think dressing modestly is great! I'm always comfy, it's like dressing in blankets!
But yet it's this same people who call us sluts or too provocative if we wear short stuff.
Face it.. You can't please human beings so do whatever the f you want.
Modest is rare! ❤
Muslim women do not compromise their faith for the sake of liberalism. Muslims have almost two billion
"It is not for a believing man or woman-when Allah and His Messenger decree a matter-to have any other choice in that matter. Indeed, whoever disobeys Allah and His Messenger has clearly gone ˹far˺ astray."
Muslim women experience true freedom when they willingly submit to Allah, not their husbands, as some may believe. contrary to what some may think. On the other hand, exposing their beauty for all to see does not represent freedom, but instead, a form of enslavement.
Not in Islam, it's very common and encouraged
@@akazaynabSame in Christianity❤❤❤
@@donnafiegel6770 Unfortunately, in modern Christianity, the churches are saying that certain things that were previously prohibited are now okay to do in order to gain more followers. I’ve seen some Christians sick of this stupidity, and I feel so bad. For the Christians following what Allah sent down (we both believe in the same God! just minus Jesus/Isa AS), may Allah guide them to Islam. Ameen.
Having self respect and respect for other is key. Nothing wrong with that and I think it says about that person!
I’ve just been rocking the “Tom-boy” my whole 34 years, and the right Man STILL found me🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉😊
I'm muslim and your videos inspires me😊❤
As a person who has been modist all my life, can't relate. No one has commented on my clothing like this. Everyone (even my LGBTQ+ friends) respect my manner of dress and 0 tolerance of cussing. They're very respectful and it's sweet. Sorry you get criticism. It's odd that people will do that. I was cat-called in a long sleeve shirt at 12 though. So some people just don't have boundaries.
Oof I'm sorry you've been catcalled so young despite your best efforts. It goes to show that it really doesn't matter what you wear, you'll get comments (or worse). Your friends sound cool, and I hope you feel safe, confident, and beautiful/handsome/whatever term you prefer in your current style!!❤
I've always dressed modestly and get the grandma one a lot lol. Or "let the girls out!" 😂 I simply don't want to, but don't care if others do!
You don't care if women publicly display their breasts in front of married men?? Ick
Showing skin is empowering to some women, modesty is for others.
can we stop judgikg her and apreciate how gorgeous she looks
Modest dress feels respectful of myself and others. Sometimes I like my short shorts. 😂
It’s Like the same thing for hijab is they say out father fources us which is not true
Yes Allah brought down the revelation to [Muhammed peace be upon him]
I have the distinct pleasure of retorting with the fact that I'm a revert and my father wasn't even Muslim.
@@jayden.wright and some country banned women to choose their clothes
Hijab is going overboard. If you wear it, you do not appear human.
Modesty is a virtue that shows self respect.
The Lord does not care how much we show or hide, and all women deserve to be respected for dressing how they like
Read Jeremiah. God says that the exposure of what should be hidden under skirts is shameful.
Yes but it also says to dress appropriately
It means both. You can't dress like a hoochie if you're a practicing Christian. That's a no, no. Our bodies are a temple and are not meant to be shared with everyone. Only between your spouse and the Lord.
Only your husband and is worthy of seeing your breast and naked body. So yes it dose matter what women allow the world to see.
I started dressing modestly late in life and wish I had done so sooner. Going on near two years....two summers without sunburns is the first big plus!!
Literally just wear sunscreen lol??? How stupid do you have to be
Not a Christian, but someone who loves old fashion. I own floor-length skirts that I wear in public on occasion. People will stare me down to the point where I panic. I'm not someone who dresses modest regularly, and I don't think I could with the amount of attention it gets me.
Why does western culture think keeping things private is a bad thing. Freedom is not always blatant exposure.
Modesty is beautiful!
I’m a fellow Christian and I just found your channel! I always see fashion channels but they never make modest clothes, so it’s nice to have some modest CZcamsrs!
Yes! I struggle with trying to look cute or put together but still be modest.
LET PEOPLE DRESS HOW THEY WANT. I’m not that modest usually but grandma clothes are CUTE
It’s Biblical to dress modestly. That is what God has written for us and I’m glad that you are doing so ❤
modest fashion is underrated it doesn’t have to be anything deeper than i wanna wear these clothes and not those ones
I’ve always been modest, and I’m even wearing a white cardigan over my wedding dress. I’m more comfortable with just my future husband looking at me than everyone else. It’s my prerogative what I show to the world.
As a muslim teen girl. Mad respect for you 🫶. Sending love from Australia 🫶🇦🇺
I’m sorry our cultures don’t respect women more.
Modest-
Adjective
Latin/French(?)
Definition-
"dressing or behaving so as to avoid impropriety or indecency, especially to avoid attracting sexual attention (typically used of a woman).
"the modest women wear long-sleeved dresses and all but cover their faces"
(of clothing) not revealing or emphasizing the figure.
"modest dress means that hemlines must be below the knee"
Note - I wear shorts at times, so I don't agree that women have to wear shorts below the knee.
The thing is you can dress however you want, modest or provocative, as long as you aren’t policing what people wear it’s ok.
Anybody who wants to dress modestly, should❤
Anybody who doesn’t, shouldn’t ❤
Thank you for reminding Christians that God also has called us to be holy in apparel.
Thank you for your comment.
Christians do not forget what God wants; as you assume but they sold out Christians for liberalism and the LGBT agenda, as their beliefs are not based on reason or rational thinking
Muslim women do not compromise their faith for the sake of liberalism.
A couple of translations for you:
1) "You couldn't possibly have thought for yourself and come to a different conclusion about modesty than I, a feminist, have."
2) "Wah! Give me visual access to your body! Wah!"
Purity culture makes us believe that dressing modestly is the capstone of womanhood. Sigh. Modesty is a requirement but doesn’t and shouldn’t define us.
I swear what's with the grandma or even aunt comment! Why can people just wear whatever

If you dress modestly, that's great! Don't judge or insult people who don't! If you don't dress so modest- that's great! Don't judge people who do!!

I had explain to him why I changed things up a bit and give him a hug to reassure him that I was okay. he even asked if I was going to postpartum lol.

Fuuuuck.
I personally love the sweater, headband and earrings you're wearing. Your outfit brings attention to your hair and beautiful face.
I think one of the most empowering things as a woman this day in age, is dressing modestly and knowing you're valued without having to show your goods to every body and their mother ❤
"the most empowering things as a woman this day in age", really???...lol
I dress for myself without worrying about being "valued"
