@@PlagueDrKay Go with a AM5 build with a 7800X3D. AM4 isn't worth it now for new builds. As upgrades, the X3D chips are great if you're on AM4 platform.

Never had a pc setup before. Once I save enough money, this will be the exact pc build I'm rocking with. This is the best pc build channel on the platform!
I built mine over a period of a few months. I realized I won't have the full amount at one time. so i bought the items one by one every 2 or so months. and just kept them hidden in my wardrobe so I don't feel like it's taking long lol. out of sight out of mind. SO you can do it! choose your motherboard and then just commit. once you buy the first item you'll have no choice but to finish it. and before you know it. you have a PC set up

tbh just stick to around 1000-1200 for a 1440p unless yor gonna play single player games at 4k

I highly recommend you buy ryzen 5 7600, b650m asrock pro rs wifi, 6000mhz cl30 ram 16x2 instead tbh, you'll have a much better upgrade path with AM5 and the performance difference isnt THAT gigantic.

NVMe drive in the wrong slot lol.
Top slot is connected to CPU, bottom slot is connected to chipset. That means higher latency.
The heatsink comes pre-mounted on the bottom slot because it would block the middle mounting hole of the mainboard.
So what you're supposed to do is - install the board first, then install SSD in top slot, remove heatsink from bottom slot and put it on the SSD in top slot.
