Those first few warm up calls though 😅hope you enjoy the vid. I wanted to show you the good AND the bad. No more excuses... you really are this close.
Want me to record a video on how to write a script? OR lead generation? Drop a comment ⬇
This is great! would you still say could you handle another 15 leads if this is for SEO service or how would you hook for this -
In a nut shell I usually say I have come across an issue with your site let’s book a time to go through it etc- I find it get there back up a lot of the time, what would you suggest?
Amazing man. Please do on the script
Please do a script man. Thanks in advance!
Pls the script mate
Script please !
The secret of cold calling Is literally not thinking before calling
completely agree
ive never done that, ima try it out and ill keep you updated
@@currently9143 how’s it going?
@@renklix8061 it actually went really well, better than i expected lmao. if you're reading this and are thinking about scripts and shit, who cares get good and just get on the call.
@@currently9143 that’s awesome bro
Started my cold calling journey today- within one hour I had five meetings booked! I got plenty of no answers and rejections too. If you’re nervous about calling, all it takes is one you need to get through. I promise once you start you aren’t even scared. Good luck!
Which software are you using for cold calling?
How many calls did you made ?
soon gonna start outreaching first time in my life via cold calling, as an introvert and a non native speaker i am dying inside by the thought alone of it all. But ill try.
And congrats bro
I’ve been doing it for the past three months and I’ve only done two. How the hell did you book that many meetings.
@@Charles-yw8uphow’s it going?
I loved this! The gatekeepers, the rejection ...doesn't matter if you are a beginner or a skilled pro..sales is challenging at every level. This whole exercise proves that you don't have to be the perfect cold caller... You just need to pick up the damn phone and make the calls.
It's all people skills at a certain level. If you have hospitality or retail experience it could definitely help
As Real Estate consultant this is deeply a huge part of the game, just have your coffee after every hard call and have fun.
What sort of consulting do you offer?
Knowing I've done hundreds of cold calls and seeing that Jordan himself is doing it live and getting a lot of No's, same as me, makes me know I'm not alone, I'm getting somewhere
Great video 😀
If you're reading through the comments, the most important thing you need to know is, just do it. Don't think too deeply. If you make 50 calls a day, you will get leads and sales. Techniques will improve your conversions but consistency is the secret. We once had a day of fun and made our script just four words (Train stations Advertising interested) it still resulted in one appointment, which we sold. Obviously most people put down the phone, but hopefully you get the point. If you call 50 people a day with an offer you will get sales (It's impossible not to)
"Don't tink too deeply" ... wow
this is untrue if your offer is garbage you won't get meetings and he jordan would be stressing his eye balls out the answer is not always more volume its the dumbest thing sales people keep saying brute forcing doesn't always work
@@justlkbj Hi, yes having a good offer is the secret to longevity, however having sold absolute rubbish (for example, Arial photography taken in the winter and advertising in NCP car parks) when I was younger, I can tell you that with a WELL PREPARED STORY you will make some sales if you consistently make calls. In conversations like this I think we are making the assumption that the product you will be selling is good, this post wasn't about having the right product, it was about making calls so I stand by my earlier comment, but for clarity let's adjust it. If you have a good product/ service and create a good story, then tell it to 100 people a day you will make sales, even if you're not a great sales person. To increase your conversions, write down every objection you get, learn which ones are the sales killers, then build an answer to your objections into your story. It's critical that these objections are handled before they arise. Make sure your story takes your prospect forward in time to where they are enjoying the benefits and let them know that all your customers had the same fears they have about the product/service but have been glad they made the leap. Lastly, one thing I have learned is that someone that falls in love with their own products will out perform a more skilled sales person who is just in it for the money.
@@GarywHickman I love this. What would you say are good “frames” for storytelling or creating.
Thanks for the advice, you really blew my mind, it's impossible to not get sales if If I call 50 people a day with my offer (I'm currently aiming for 20 a day as a beginner) but the same applies.
I love how real this is. It's so encouraging that even he gets dead ends. I haven't started and was worried how to do cold calls. But seeing this gives me encouragement that I can do it. Rejections and dead ends are normal.
"Failure" is a prerequisite to success!
update on your agency and success?
When you starts dailing my heart beat keeps going up 🙁 and up and up like I'm speaking to those people.
Same.. but it's really an important skill.
Thank you so much for posting this up Jordan, today was my first day cold calling my leads and I used your script as a framework and out of the 8 business owners I managed to speak directly to, I've got 3 calls booked in with them!!
Thank you so much for all the free information you give out, seriously been one of the biggest helping factors in starting my agency.
Great work! Glad my content was helpful 💪
How’s the conversion of those calls to sales going? Curious because I’m just starting up
Very helpful content Jordan . If I may ask . How were you calculating the entire payment thing. Were you paid per lead or you had another different arrangement?
Hey bro , just checking how you doing and how your company doing ?
I actually admire Jordan's way of objection handling, he's really pushing the prospect without looking like he's pushing them! I like 😁😁👌👌
Love the moment you said ..”ha, lost her” with a big smile. You can tell you’re having fun.
Would love to see more content dedicated to lead gen, booking calls, call execution, scripting, etc!

@@JordanPlatten Ok now this is epic!
Start a cold calling yesterday. did about 25 calls and got the same results about two meetings booked for next week
My goal is to have 10 appointments a week
Which means I need to have a kpi of 150 outbound calls weekly/ 30 calls a day/ 5 days a week.
hey i’m trying to start my smma i just need help with closing sales do you have a script for closing them or what do you do
What are your sources for leads Nd what kind of job titles you loook for
As a young guy looking at starting an SMMA you are truly inspiring
I actually thought I was getting way too many rejections to a point where I stopped calling, after seeing this, my phone ain't getting a chance tomorrow, thanks for this video
This has really helped build my confidence in cold calling. My goal for March is to land my first client with cold calling
Mine too
Did you get one ?
@@Vontoocuts_ not yet. These businesses are getting several calls every single day from people offering them smma. Business owners have told me this. I feel like I'm pestering people now to be honest.

@@kellyjackson30 that’s disheartening we’re are you based ?
This was great, your style of calling is very refreshing and it’s very hard to say no to your initial offer as well. Absolute class 🙏
The most interesting part of the callings is the vocal mirroring you go through to create rapport. You can tell right away that you may have great social skills.
Great video 👌
I'm a realtor from South Africa and I've worked in a call center before but I really got shocked at how different it was for me. Now after watching your video I can see that your methods can be applied even in my field.
Glad you found it helpful 🤘
Me SA too
I love the fact that you didn't try to sell us rainbows and sunshines and left the unsuccessful calls in.
Pretty brave move Jordan to be fair. You were less polished than I expected, but that's not a bad thing. Helped me feel less intimidated to start cold calling, so thanks.
I absolutely loved this video on cold calling. Was giggling on hang-ups. I know that feeling. Thank you.
This is incredible. Seeing the cold call process is such a motivator
🤘🔥
This is a real skill!! I am also working as cold caller and I am very passionate on this!
shout out to jordan for going through this to inspire us. Man you re gold.
This guy isn't really a good cold caller but kudos on him making this video! I believe a good skill to acquire is the ability to NOT sound like a cold caller would help for starters. I myself get probably 20-30 calls per day from solicitors and THEY ALL SOUND LIKE THIS GUY. However, I did like how he tried to sell the idea vs a product and say they don't get paid until they produce results (We work for free...until) I'd also spend an hour or so and make a really good video for your people who say "send me an email or some literature" and just make a "straight to the point" video that's like 1-2 minutes long (Probably start it off with saying, Does your company use A.I.??? Well don't get left behind because having a website is not enough anymore...something to that effect idk) But it takes balls to do cold calling and if this guy can do it, so can anyone. WATCH BOILER ROOM 2 TIMES, Preferably the scene where he's eating cereal and gets a cold call. It all starts with your pitch and it shouldn't be the same every time you call, use your intuition and make the caller instantly feel you are important and what you have is what they need or would make their boss think they're smart because they advised their boss of Your Business.....quote from that movie I love and is fact "There's a sale on every call whether you sell them on the reason they CAN or they sell you on the reason they CAN'T".....get money
Deep breath, believe in the value you can offer. :)
That “what the hell” face at mark of 14 minutes was so true and relatable. It is your inner soul cringing on you very hard at what the gibberish you just spoke ; because it in essence was way off than your ideal self and pitch but in the end keep going, pressing is what brings it home. Great video man, very authentic. Sometimes you just need to see someone else do the same thing that you every day just to feel normal and maybe pick a few things on the road. Thanks!
Glad you enjoyed 🙌
20:51 that’s tough when you have to deal with damn gate keepers who potentially hold a company back from their own limitations 🤦♂️
You are amazing! Number 1 - I could listen to that accent all day! 2- I know who I' listening to in the morning while I'm having coffee before work! Thank you!
Thanks for being so realistic bro. People think cold calling is super easy and get saddened down after the few rejections and thats something we shouldn't be focusing on.
you're a legend for this appreciate you brother 🙏
Love how honest and real this video is 🙌
I’d love to know why you chose to say your name was Mo rather then Jordan? As surely he’ll realise when Mo jumps on the call and Mo’s not Mo 😅😂
I do b2b b2c sales, and this cold calling is missing alot, hence, there is not filler word, no objection handling, not addressing the concerns, not really acknowledging the objection
And lastly whenever giving a statement you are not asking if it does make sense
This video is a gen Jordan! It gives me a confidence to cold call.
And yes I would love to see a new video on this series. Thanks 🙏
Here we go! czcams.com/video/Gozs98J534Q/video.html
*TIP*- When outreaching/discovery calling it is important to remember that you are NOT selling a solution, you are simply selling the problems you solve.
This biggest killer to any call is product dumping
There's no difference between a solution and the problem you solve 💀
@David Emeka solution selling and product selling are two completely different sales frameworks. I think you need to read a sales book or two "GAP selling is good!"
6:50 "Your website is horrible, you need a web design agency" 😭
Loving how this video simplifies booking meetings. Applying some of these tactics to my email outreach has been killer. Mystrika, by the way, is a stellar addition for anyone serious about cold emailing. The automatic bounce detection and tag management features are solid. Plus, they have got everything from AI personalization to advanced preheaders to boost open rates. If you are into cold emailing, this tool is a lifesaver.
This is my first month as freshie SDR. I'll come back and say thanks when I get the hang of it. Awesome
how you doin?
Awesome content! You really capture the ups and downs of being in sales. It's a relief for us anxious folks! Keep doing your thing!
Love to hear it!
Just made my first batch of cold calls yesterday!! No luck but your cold call videos really helped me get out There. The days of 100’s of email and IG outreach are over👍👍🙌
When they request the email, could you say something like: "I completely get that, unfortunately it is very difficult to come up with accurate pricing as I don't know much about your current average clients, pricings, etc, what we can do if you like is, if we can arrange a meeting I will give you our website and you can go and check everything out on there. It has all of our information, what we do how we do it, and if you're not happy with what you see you are more than welcome to reach out to cancel the meeting"?
This is an absolute game changer!!! I was (and still am..) soo afraid of the cold calls, but you are making it look so easy!
Is it only my impression or the lead generation is much faster with cc rather than cold emailing or LinkedIn lead gen??
Brilliant! I really appreciate the transparency. Thanks sooooo much for this. I am trying to do some cold calls myself and this is very informational and encouraging.
Bro i just did my frist cold call after this and i booked an appointment within 4 minutes lmao. thanks dude.
Lets go!!! Well done 💪
Hi Jordon, any chance you can do a video of when you call the leads back for the second round? This is great stuff I’m loving it!
The goat himself
🙏
Thank you! This really put things into perspective. Starting outreach soon and I have a lot of notes and lessons to take away from this video
I’d definitely like to see more of the script writing and the psychology behind it.

you're always here to motivate small smma ppl like me 😢 appreciate you forever but havent had the budget to join your course
I send like 70 ig dms everyday since like 2 months now. I have booked some meetings. I just started cold calling 2 days ago. I'm a shy person so due to fear I cut the call when the other person picks it up. Although Im getting bolder day by day, watching videos like these give me hope. Thanks man
I get how daunting that can be man. Check out this video on how to get over the fear of cold calling czcams.com/video/snE_4rzGDHI/video.html. You got this!
Fair play on this man. Nice to see something REAL.

love to see more about script writing and the psychology related to it
Here's a video on exactly that: czcams.com/video/Gozs98J534Q/video.html&ab_channel=JordanPlatten
Awesome video Jordan, just the motivation I need. I'm gonna get out there and start smashing gatekeepers. 🤣
Xavier is a kiwi. That's why he was such a legend and gave you the time of day! 😜
Awesome session! Thanks for showing the bitter piece. It is not only about cold calling but also how to think on your toes. Great shared Jordan
Rejection is always learning you may get rejected many times but theirs gonna be one person who does say yes they key is to be determined and persistent to get what you want
Hey Jordan, I just want to say that your videos are all full of knowledge and you are really teaching step-by-step so I recommend your videos to all those who are starting their agencies because there are a bunch of things to learn in your videos and the way you teach I understand all the points just like I am in a face to face meeting with a professional (SMMA) owner.
Thanks again Jordan. 😇
This video made me say f it and start cold calling. Only called for an hour today and got an appt booked for tomorrow! You da man!
Love to hear it! Keep that momentum going!
Started my routine, already one meeting booked over 5 calls. Man dig, fear but act
This helps so much, especially scripting my calls, thank you! 🙏
What a great video! I feel piles of anxiety just watching this. GREAT SHARE!
That was good, that was I enjoyed that. You sold it to me lol, fair play, mate 👏
Why am I anxious just listening to the calls 😂
Most real video I watched!
I love this. One of the best cold call videos on the platform. Opening with that offer is so clutch.
Appreciate it 🙌
Cold Call #11 - brutal gatekeeper. Great work.
Welcome to South Africa Jordan hope you having blast
Thank you so much for great vedio it was really great seeing you actually doing these calls
Questions
1. Do you think it's important to tell the prospect that you are freelancer not a company?
2. During the Meetings what are the important aspects to cover?
3. Can you go over my script
4. Is there a need to send them a contact or you simply do the work and invoice them at the end of the month
Thank you so much
That list is exactly what I need right now
Got you covered: czcams.com/video/YiW9t8TI8wA/video.html&ab_channel=JordanPlatten
Awesome video Jordan. I did not know you. I have just subscribed. You are showing me that cold calling is difficult but doable. Thanks. 😊
Glad you enjoyed 💪
thus one was gem jordan! great video.
hey Jordan,
what I would’ve done when the prospect asked you to send them an email was to ask them to look you up on their computer WHILE ON THE CALL. 99% chance these people were at their desk at the time. the calls sounded real quiet as if they could’ve been in an office, near a computer.
i would’ve recommended they looked you up & just say “i’m here playing Chess so i’m here if you have any questions while you look me up”.
the only thing they’d do is hang up, which proves their true objection was that they just weren’t interested.
The part with the gatekeeper is good, I once made the GK buy on behalf of the clinic, because the doctor was soooo busy :D
I even get anxiety from watching him call 😂😢
Loved watching this and seeing that it wasnt just me getting rejected all the time. Great video Jordan, thanks for sharing this.
You're so welcome!
32:04 is a really great call to listen to, lots of objections
wow. Thank you for putting yourself out there like this for us to learn, wow, i just subscribed wow. thank you!
"worst case you take my ideas you implement them yourself"! awsome line..!! sweet.. is those one liners we need to really know when and how to say it.
Appreciate it 🙌
Mo Derek and his business partner Jordan 😂.
Boys, cold call, it works, the more you do, the better you become.

Great inspiration to sales people. Really nice video
Legend. Very inspirational
Smashin' the gatekeeper ey?😂😂
This is not a hard niche at all. You can try the HR niche for recruiting services with middle sizes businesses and CEOs instead. Might be a really interesting video. But apart from this is was a really nice video. I am looking forward you launching more cold calling videos, that is really awesome.
I even forgot your name was Jordan you killed it being Mo, amazing 🎉
appreciate your content and transparency You're the realist.
I try
I work for a company where all I do is call people that had a service with us (either 1 or 2 days ago) and get them back on the schedule for a follow up free inspection and I manage anywhere between 10-14 appointments a day making over 200 calls a day but the one thing I dont tell them is that its a cold call thats a big hang up spot for most the people I talk to but I mean hey if it works it works💪🏾
Amazing value thank you so much. As a beginner I’m now learning more and more and next week I will start my cold calling journey.
Go get em!!
Dude this was awesome.
I have so much resistance to cold calls...
Watching this made me cringe buuuuut in the best of ways cuz it highlighted where I need to work.

Hi Jordan, I work in the aesthetic industry and your video is very helpful for me. Thank you for making it. I have a question for you. I've noticed that my clients' staff aren't responding or calling back in time to collect the deposit or communicate with verified leads who have booked appointments through my ads. My automated messages are working well, but the leads lose interest if the staff doesn't reply in time. I want to add deposit collection and communication to my services. How can I build this team and understand the budget? Can you help me learn how to hire appointment setters in the UK and what the standard price is?
Straight Gold bro… ripping cold calls for a larger agency as well as have my own little one at the moment and this video has helped so much man
