Enjoyed Theo
Kittle is such a stud. Love his outlook at the end there.
I agree he looks really breedable
@@kkurova9345 he better pop like 5 of them lol.
Pause
I love how much love theo is getting he deserves it I just hope he enjoys it and don't let it stress him out
Idk if he has but it would be cool if he could talk with that baseball player he guested with when he had his rock bottom moment and decided to get clean.

I’m a Seahawks fan and despise the niners, but Kittle is an amazing player to watch and a fun dude. Wish him good health and a long career.
Despise? Get a life
How long have you been a member of Antifa you commie?
Despise is a strong word to use for a game 😂
Makes you appreciate the old-school players even more
yeah. the thing is though defensive ends run as fast as WR's from the 1970's now. Kittle was right when he said it is like a car crash. I would rather a guy 250 lbs hit me running say 12 mph instead of 16-17 mph.
Nah they are frauds look at analytics
players like Jerry Rice, how long did he play? wow.
@@josephham5216 all drug addicts
The old school players were blitzing on cocaïne and pain pills
Look at players who played in the 80's
A few seasons back George caught a short pass crossing the field…. He headed down the sideline carrying two saints. One of them was hanging on to his face mask. Like he was doing a pull up on Kittle’s face mask.
When a third saint jumped on him it looked like both knees were hyperextended.
He never missed a snap. Played the next week.
Wow….
My uncle played college football and this is exactly how he described it after playing on Saturday. Plus back then they didn't have all the sophisticated recovery techniques that are available today. Crazy!!
George has a future in media after football no doubt
I''m a Chiefs - and Kelce - fan though also a former SF resident and I started loving this guy when we played the 9ers in the Super Bowl. Not only a superb, top shelf athlete. An intelligent, lively guy with a dose of humility and lots of common sense. I loved this short interview. He's an impressive fellow.
I love the way he plays but it’ll cost him several years in the nfl. Travis kelce will be beasting long after he retires
It’s really hard not to love Kittle. We know Kelce does. Both dawgs!
Feels like Theo never shits.
Man, this is why the TNF games suck so bad. The players are still recovering and are like dang, I have to play today? I'm still feeling last week.
He said Thursday and Friday are the days he starts to feel like himself again you watch the vid bud?
@@telamb9 “starts to feel good” doesn’t mean you’re recovered can you read, bud?
@@Jason-kv7cm most players stay hurt the whole season and are “recovering” the whole season bud what do you think kittle means by saying he feels like himself on Thursday’s and fridays you don’t have to be a genius to deduce that kittle is basically saying he’s ready to practice and play hard by that time.
@@telamb9 do you you think a player feels better on Thursday before the game or Sunday? It’s not rocket science.
Nahh lol it’s just been trash scheduling, there were probably 3 good TNF games all season that were good matchups
Somehow George kittle on Theo vons podcast just seems natural 😂
Great player, great guest, great pod.
Such cool advice around the 100 year time span of a life - I wish somebody had explained things like that to me as a kid.
Except it’s more like 75ish not 100. I feel like life is really birth to 60. After that you’re just old and can barely play a round of golf or have energy to ride around in your sports car. Plus your wrinkly and old looking. 😂
2 option Theo rocks. Good content about how these nfl guys cope & rehab during a grueling season.
George Kittle is so cool man. What a great dude. Happy for both these fellas
I'd do this for $11 Million a year.
Then why aren't you??
He would if he could.
Well you have to be good first
His take-home pay is less than half of what’s stated in the contract. After paying California taxes AND paying state taxes in every state you played an away game, he probably takes home 4M or so.
People like you kill me. Like saying "I'd be on set for 12 hours a day to get an actor's pay" as if you have any talent or skill at all
I can't imagine pro football in high school I was wrecked. If you play defense it's far war and the concussions you have to deal with
Right
I forgot how many concussions I had in high school football 😂
His 1st couple years in the NFL he would run into people like they weren't there, hence the car crash analogy
As a full time madden player I can confirm this.
The NFL needs to stop these stupid Thursday night games. These guys need that time to recover and all the NFL cares about is making a damn buck. Meanwhile, we see so many injuries and wonder why.
as if the NFL or team owners give a damn about the players, they only see $$$$
Wow no way a business cares about maximizing profits as much as possible. Who would’ve thought?
@@lebumjames1373 Yeah, at the expense of human beings you sarcastic f*ck.
They should only have teams play on Thursdays after coming off bye weeks. Then they'd get extra time before their next games too. No Thursday games in weeks after no-bye weeks where every team played.
They should add a second bye week since they added another game as well
Thank you
I dislocated my left knee playing semipro football in Germany when I was 27. Had numerous surgeries to fix all of the torn ligaments. I also happen to be a licensed surgical first assistant in VA.
I can honestly not believe that a single player in the NFL can go an entire season without missing a game.
I work with a guy now that’s a medical device rep that used to be an athletic trainer for the Jets and played college football at UDE. He feels the same way, and tells stories all the time of working 16 hour days at a minimum during the season to keep these guys in tip top shape.
I love Theo because he just let the guest talk. Other guys just wanna talk, seem like that they want to be bigger than the guest.
I have use NFL recovery techniques and I'm just an uber eats driver lmao. I can't even imagine the stress on their bodies
Then why are you using nfl techniques you weird homie probably gonna end up hurting yourself.
What is exactly a nfl recovery technique??
@@mikem4481 dang good advice 👍

Love to see Mahomes and kittle on the same podcast
That Hobbes tattoo rules.
I have met a few nfl players in my time.... There isn't a dollar amount you could pay me to do this.... HELL NO

Fans will never get the Brutality of the hard hitting NFL
The breakdown of the lifespan and the little window you have to be great is one of the most important examples people ned to understand. Don't squander talent or opportunities to change your life.
Now that he says that think about hockey players. Higher speed, and they play way more games a season. Insane
The difference is EVERY play ends in a hit in football. I played hockey and got rocked time to time but football is down after down huge hits
@@annchovie8748 first off not every play ends in a huge hit. There are tons of plays, especially running plays that don’t make it past the line that don’t. Also, missed catches, running out of bounds, etc. I’ll just agree to disagree with you on this.
My fathers cousin played for the Detroit Lions from 1965 to 1973 as a safety. Every year when he returned after the season was over he was black and blue from head to toe.
Back then... The Black & Blue division... Bears, Lions, Vikings, Packers and the Buccaneers after the '76' season! NFC CENTRAL!
I'm still a firm believer that if you have a Sunday to Thursday turnaround for games the league should supervise hgh shots after the Sunday game
Crazy how much some NFL players slim down during the off-season
It's not that they slim down but that they are in great condition. In addition, his legs are like tree trucks. Probably weights over 240lbs here. Crazy.
@@toddnelson7651 some get fat and put on weight, then lose it during training camp. Not all of them are walking around in great shape during the off-season.
The best part about the NFL is how later in the season every player is so torn up and broken yet one team always has that extra bit of will to be a champion.
He a real one
George is the bomb!
Football is not worth it. Played it for 13 years. Would take it back if I could. People have no idea of the pain, especially someone at his level that played in the NFL
I’m willing to think if you were offered 75 million for your talent you would’ve taken your chances..
I played for 8 year definitely NOT on a high level 😂
But I love the game give me 75k a year I’ll strap em’ up but I telling you now I’m not blocking Micah Parsons or Nick Bosa I’m not just physically capable 😂
Well George is generationally wealthy now so he will beg to differ lol
Hmm I think it can be worth it lol
The difference is you made zero dollars and kittle will have made 10s of millions by the time he retires
Sorry I would give everything to play football for a living. It’s a blessing not a curse. You should’ve played a different sport!
Kittle over the middle!
Fuckin love you TV
I loved the line graph. I have that same view towards college and studying. Why not put your all and get a good GPA for 4 years? I've had over 25 internships reach out and job opportunities from my GPA and major. I see a lot of people my age just come and go. Come here for a semester, think college is like the movies, and they're gone.
4 years that can propel you for the rest of your life. 1 decent job, then another. Use college as a launchpad into a decent starter job, that's all it is. Or party and get a 2.0, who cares. Just telling you my experience but sure, go ahead and trust the 1/2,000,000 social media influencer that says college is a waste because they got lucky.
you should do your own reel. whats your handle?
They didn’t have this tech back in the 70’s and the game was more brutal.
He says he doesn’t know how other people survive… I’ll tell you why. Very few others play at the level of physicality that Kittle plays at. He never takes a play off. He’s a receiver AND lineman.
That's why I respect Rugby players do much. No pads no breaks constant pain lol
Kittle is an absolute beast that gives 110% on every single play. Comparing football to a car accident is good analogy for a regular player, not someone like Kittle who goes across the middle with his head down, always fights for an extra yard and will rarely go out of bounds.
I think he can determine whether he’s in a ‘car accident’ or not. And he doesn’t need you riding his meat. Fkin goofball.
Lmao he says car accidents like he's been in some (maybe he has) then the other guy says "damn" like he knows the feeling (maybe he does).
Lets bring back Road Rules Theo. Who woulda thunk you would get so big from those ridiculous mtv days
Let me get this clear i hate the 49ers, but Kittle is my boy. Great character, hard nosed player, i really enjoy watching him play.
I played rugby. So I can verify. It feels like you were in a car accident. BUT there is nothing better then running someone over or just winning.
Tom Brady's window in his timeline is over 50% 😂
For almost another decade, he’ll have spent over 50% of his life playing college + pro football lol. ~27 years out of 45 years right now.
As a football fan and overall sports fan I don’t understand with the amount of teams it should always be half the teams plays one week the other half plays the next week and have these guys rest be 100% more times then not I don’t understand quick turnarounds
Because money speaks brotha!
So literally double the season length? 😂😂😂😂 you claim to be an overall sports fan but yet you don’t realize that the nfl is the only league that only has a team play once a week. Most sports you’re playing two or three times a week 😂
This is exactly why these guys get paid millions of dollars to play a game. The mentality, preparation, and dedication is what is often forgotten. Not to mention it probably costs these guys a lot of money for rehab treatments on their own.
No, they get paid millions of dollars because their skilled labor (elite-level professional athletes) generates billions of dollars in sales revenue for NFL teams, and in turn the players have tons of leverage when signing contracts.
@@benjaminanderson6709 exactly. There are hundreds of professions that take a special “mentality, preparation, and dedication” that make less than six figures…
Best Tight End in the NFL. Period.
I wonder which position sustains the most damage? Running back/receiver maybe?
Linemen are sumo wrestling on every play
@@manhattannewyork-fr5pd Yeah gotta link the OLINE and DLINE are the most damaged after football. Those aren't car crashes those are GIGANTIC COLLISIONS!
Am sure it’s physical now, go back 20 years when it was really tough!

teams should have two bye weeks or extra men on the roster.
Imagine how your brain feels.... CTE is no joke. Hope the money is worth it.
Someone needs to tell George the average life expectancy of an NFL player is 50 years
Ouch!
I think it was Vince Lonbardi who once said:"Football is not a contact sport. Dancing is a contact sport. Football is a collision sport".
This is why I don’t get mad at these guys, they’re putting lives on the line every single week!!!

Wonder why they don’t stay at a hotel Sunday night then fly home Monday morning… seems like sleep would be worth more than the money for the hotels for the team
and they extended the season another week.
I always felt like the NFL should have a week 10 bye for the entire NFL plus there own bye. Maybe the teams that had the bye week 9 or 11 will play week 10. Then provide another bye for those teams.
So basically you want them to make the season longer 😂 AGAIN
very good you can count
Trevon Diggs avoided that car accident like he didn't have insurance
Car accidents, recovery. Car accidents, recovery. Fuck that.
In the place from 630am to 800pm. So basically the average work day for many of us.
average work day is 13.5 hours? i dont think so bub. most people work about 8 hours a day. unless you're in the medical field. or your totally destitute and need 2 jobs to stay afloat.
The more he kept saying car accident the more it sank in
Anyone playing into their early 30s is living on borrowed time. Every season they get invited back is a bonus because every year it gets harder to recover. And the scary thing at that age is that every down could be their last.
Also, this demonstrates why the bye week placements aren't really fair. If it were fair, it would be all the same weekend for all teams in the middle of the season. Does a team benefit from having their bye week on week 6 versus a team that has it on week 14? If there's any benefit, then it's not equitable.
"Why not put all that effort into 1/10th of your life?"
Because that 1/10th shortens the other 9/10th by 1/2.
It’s all in one’s beliefs and perceptions. Some of the greatest football players never did any of that stuff and still ended up playing at a high level for 15-20 years
That’s true, I’m curious about the quality of life in later decades for these people after their careers though. I wonder if people who heal and take care of themselves like Kittle have better backs, knees, shoulders, etc for longer. Also position matters a ton, TE is particularly brutal.
Sounds easy due to the amount of money they are making, whats hard is 10 hour days 50 weeks per year earning medium wage.
i’ve been in one car wreck and could only describe it as feeling like a big hit in football
I can guarantee given the chance and ability, most of us are choosing that life path. I can work all my life and will never make what these guys make in just a few short years. Hell even if you sucked it up and did it for a few years, you could invest the money, live modestly, and retire in your early to mid 20's vs 65...lol sounds like a good trade off to me.
It's so easy to make a lot of money in this country without killing your body in athletics. Just have to learn to work smarter not harder.

Try framing houses for a living. Packing lumber around a slab in sand for 30-40 years. You think y’all screwed up? Give me a break.
I played Catholic HS Football and I'm banged up. In the NFL, almost 100% of these guys are smacked up when they are done. What kind of guys are these? These guys are warriors. They grind on it until the absolute end. Players finish college and they are smacked up from college football. Everyone starts their NFL career with some injury. When you get to the NFL, my brother told me it is on a whole different level. I saw what he looked like in semi pro football. There was crutches and ice packs regularly. He was cut from the Jets and the Dolphins in the later rounds. Car accidents sounds about right. I nice car wreck every week. 🤣
Hyperbaric chamber is the real deal. Your red blood cell count goes up naturally. Keep the diet tight. Eating really well is the best recovery medicine. They have these guys with the best of the equipment and everything you need to recover. Doctors in the locker room.
No wonder the players hate TNF!
Do they do it because they love it or do they do it for the money? Big difference. If it's for both then it is a win.
And they have thursday night football? wtf
Anybody coming on here to say he's complaining or "soft" need to sit the hell down. He's giving y'all a look into what kind of toll getting hit every Sunday takes on your body and what he does to get ready to win y'all fantasy matchups.
Kittle is genuinely pretty thin for a tight end.
