Thank you very much for showing all of us how to reset the service oil light on a Honda civic with a push to start botton.
Glad it helped
that doesnt work on a 16 civic with a regular ignition key - its totally different 🤕
Thank you very much. Just one little correction on 2019 Civic you should choose A, not 1. Video is very helpful.
Thank you for the correction. Must have changed in 2019.
You don’t show how to push all the buttons..while you talking
it's item A on my 2016 too
My 17 had to be reset through the touch screen.
Thank you so much very much recommended, subscribe right now thank you!!!!
Thank you!!!
Thank you very much for this!!
No problem your welcome
What if you don't have that info button?
Thx again
It is just an alert based on miles right? I'll take a look at my oil stick but I'm sure the full synthetic oil should last longer than 5k miles, so I was going to reset it even though I haven't changed the oil. Alert is just annoying
Thanks 👍🇵🇷
your welcome!
Wrong! Item 0 is oil. Item 1 is not oil. Thats why people are saying it's not working.
You are correct, sorry about that.
Oil life was "Item B" on the '17 model I had
👍
Item 'A' for oil. 2018 1.5 sport touring.
Is it bad if it stays on B??
this part is confusing, but i think that is the correct behavior (the code will vary depending on where you are in the maintenance cycle). i think, according to the owner's manual, that this means a 'b' service is recommended at the next oil change (when the 'oil life' meter approaches 0%).
And you ended the vid on the part I want to ask about--how do get that oil life 100% OFF? Thx, wk.
Circle the i around again. It worked for me
No INFO button on my 2016 Civic with keyed ignition.
Now what?
Item 1 isn’t oil on 2018...
Sorry bro, u r wrong, Item A is engine oil, item 1 is rotate tire. Go to owners manual on page 130.
I want the Oil Life 100% to clear off of my dash so I can see my throttle again, but it wont. How do I do that?
On 00:53 as u can see on the left side of steering wheel, right under the volume button, press the button, then scroll left to KM sign and select that.
