Chain Reaction Theme music (Emmons/Edwards)

This rendition of the Chain Reaction theme was used in the Emmons/Edwards versions on the USA and Global networks and was the version I can recall before the CD versions and the original Cullen version.

also this was used for the French language version of the show hosted by Pierre Lalonde (Action-Reaction) Geoff Edwards was chosen over Lalonde to replace Blake Edmonds because of plans to syndicate the show (Lalonde was supposed both hosted the show in both languages versions of the show, as Lalonde hosted the Mad Dash in English several years earlier)

Yes. I was going to keep the plugs, but it may look weird hearing the theme over the plugs. Seemed kinda weird hearing Chain Reaction and seeing Pyramid.

At 1:22, did they just use footage of the departing gift list background from the New $25K Pyramid for The New Chain Reaction's departing gifts list?

In the first season, they used mini-commercials for the fee plugs like $100K Pyramid was using at the time, complete with the $100K Pyramid snippet displaying the manufacturer's list. In the second season(January-July 1988), Rod Charlebois read the fee plugs, with their own graphics for the manufacturer list($100K Pyramid used announcer-read fee plugs in the 1987-88 season)

William Jefferson Bob Cobert. He also wrote and performed the 80s version of the Pyramid theme

@@williamjefferson6234 I hear violins, bass guitar, congas, a Clavient and some sort of organ. This theme actually came from a cancelled NBC show called Supertrain.
