  • Did you know wafer paper comes in grades? In this video, I'm showing you the difference in wafer paper types. And which grade you need for what application.
There are 3 main types of wafer paper:
O-grade (0.22 mm) - very thin and light. I use this type for multi-petal flowers and if I want to make something quick.
AD-grade (Premium or 0.27-0.35 mm) - the most common type of paper to make flowers, foliage, and decorations. Takes on texture beautifully and very versatile. The downside for me - I need to apply conditioner to both sides.
DD-grade (Double-thickness or 0.6mm) - smooth on both sides and relatively thick. Great for printing designs or painting. I wouldn't recommend this type of wafer paper for making flowers. It may work for making foliage and structured decoration, but it is stiff and fragile.

I want to put some wafer paper flowers on some cookies and petit fours I am making for a baby shower. Do people usually eat them, or do they remove the flowers before eating the cookie or petit four?

Hey! Welcome to the channel! I don't, we talk a lot about pricing and business things on my in-person classes, which are postponed indefinitely. I would highly recommend you to look into business classes at CakeFlix - www.cakeflix.com/course-category/pricing-your-cakes Paul and David are amazing and share valuable information.

You can use 0.27mm. They are very close in thickness and if you are just getting tarted, won't be as noticeable.
