DOPE! Such an underrated show. This was the bomb, some of the best characters to ever appear in Gundam history. Check this series out guys, you won't regret it.

Wow. Steve Staley has voiced 3 young Gundam heroes in the past, but maybe he should play more bad guys too. He sounds really good as McGillis so far.

I would watch it because orga's english VA is Johnny yong bosch since he voiced: Yu Narukami, Nero from Dmc4 and Zero from Umvc3.

After seeing the promo, now I'm hyped to the return of Gundam
Mika's voice is so similar to his jp counterpart, its awesome.
Pretty good overall, 7/10 IGN.com good, not great.
But it still has a big pet peeve of mine when dubs pronounce the more complex Japanese names in ways that sound unnatural with an American accent. Mikazuki's name is the biggest offender here. There isn't supposed to be a break between Mika & zuki. Just Mi-ka-zu-ki, but kinda fast. Its like if I met some from Mexico who's name was Ramón, and pronounced it Ray-mon.
But my biggest all time example of this is the english dub pronunciation of the character Rin Tohsaka from the Fate/Stay Night franchise. Yes! Technically, the Ri Hiragana, is pronounced like we pronounce Ree. But the Japanese pronounce it very quickly, so it sounds way more like Rin. But no, in every English dub her name is REEEN Tohsaka. FML. Like nails on Bucking Chalkboard.

As much as I expected Johhny Basch to make it in this dub, I have to admit he's perfect for Orga. Prominent and loud, but deep as well for what's supposed to be a teenager. I try to think of anyone better but the closest to mind would be Liam O'Brian, and he just doesn't seem like a good fit for the character. Anyone else would just be too deep and sound too old for the role.
Now where's my Gundam Build Fighters dub?

Believe it or not there was an English dub for Build Fighters and Try (it was a Philippine independent dub,that was exclusive only on Cartoon Network Asia)

I'm confused i thought Gundahm was not allowed to be dubbed due to Bandai dying or something.
That was true. It was explained in the episode. Since Bandai of America died, they had to contact the people in charge of Gundam at Sunrise HQ (based in Japan.)
There's a minor subsidiary Sunrise company in the US, kind of like Aniplex of America.
ichigo's voice actor playing Orga didn't see that comming, but I can't really think of any other good English voices for him so I guess that will have to do! Mikas Voice voice is ok just wish you would say Bartados a bit cooler, but then again the Japanese version did use the T in Bartados!

they are saying mika's voice wrong....but apart from that its not bad

The dub wasn't entirely fitting though we need more power that seem insane, or can act like killers with survival instincts which Mikva should be that but he's not

I'd rather focus on the beautiful animation instead of subtitles and having pause and rewind to fully read them. Subs are a pain in the ass.
