I recently finally got my hands on morbid pithies too~ I luckily have a good little chunk of Workbasket patterns from my mom but of course when I asked her after seeing Michelle's she never bought any of the pithies because of the bible quotes. I must have spent weeks going through old cross stitch shop websites before I found one with a copy.
Oh, thrill of the hunt! It is very satisfying to find the pattern you have been looking for after weeks of search 😊

I always love your use of colored linens/aidas. I shy away from them because I get anxious how to frame them 😅 My friend and I went to Michael's this week to get some of my stitching framed. My friend chose a blue frame for one of them, which makes me nervous 😂 hopefully it turns out okay.
The situation with Israel/Gaza doesn't make sense to me. 21st century and we still fight one another?! Hopefully it ends soon.
I haven't worked in an office with a window in a very long time. Probably a good thing with our hot summers.
I hope your anxiety/insomnia gets better. Have you tried playing some soothing music and stitch/craft before bed? Switch off any tvs/electronics?

I always think life is too short to use neutral colors😂 what’s the worst that can happen? Not liking the color? A can of spray paint and a distressor can fix that. I’m glad you are trying colors.
Situation in Palestine is a text book apartheid state situation. Fortunately/ unfortunately we have South Africa as a point of reference.
I do hope for a ceasefire
@@marroomycrafts maybe that should be a goal of mine next year - stitch more designs on colored fabric. I usually reserve the fabric colors for holiday/Halloween designs...though I do have MFE's Move Forward on watermelon ice.
I certainly hope so too! Even our smallish city is divided in opinions on the situation especially our universities.

Loving all your work 🪡 💜 I follow Decoelian on insta and Facebook. Their work is beautiful. I have my eye on a large piece (they are on etsy too) but like you I’ve never attempted such a large piece. It’s similar in size to Suki’s bookshelf 😬 I don’t even know where to get fabric big enough.
I keep posting 🇵🇸 content too and when it feels like no one is paying attention I remind myself that although I do not see I may in fact reach someone’s heart. Free Palestine 🕊️
Yes those big Tatreez patterns are very beautiful but I know myself well enough to know I’m not going to enjoy such a big project. Start with a small pattern and see if you even enjoy stitching it.
