I feel honored to be compared to Jacob but letâs be honest he is the king and no one compares đ I only try. Personally Iâm planing on Jacob June and Jacob July. That is the only way to catch up with his million and one patterns. Happy stitching đ

Well thank you for recording a video. It is tough to smile and talk about crafts whilst the horrors continue but as I was saying to my friends, this is a marathon, not a sprint. We need to recharge and find ways to keep going. Crafts is so good for us. I have watched this is bits so I canât even remember the things I was going to say. đą well done on focusing on older WIPs. Such a sense of achievement. I hope you have a lovely time in your month away and come back feeling great and healthy for your retreat. I hope you manage to finish your pride stitch on time. I was also a monogamous stitcher until Jan 1, 2023... now i have some "old" WIPS but nothing like some of the onese that others have LOL. I have branched out a LOT...
I love the Bella you are doing. I love that you have worked around the beading as well... I love doing beading myself but because they are often hard to find locally (especially for the mermaids of hte seasons which each have 5 types of beads and at least 3 kreiniks) and perhaps substituting out other metallics might make the completion stitching faster.
I wholeheartedly agree -- life is too short for boring dull colours. I need to learn more about how to sub out and match colours, but its starting..
So about color substitutions, check out daybreakstitchery ( Nitya) we recorded a group flosstube and the episode on her channel is about colors. I think the title is the courage to color convert. You may find some of the ideas useful. Happy stitching đ
Hi Maryam! I came here to look for recommendations for Flosstubes you'd been watching recently and realized that I hadn't responded to this video! Your Bella piece is a showstopper. Looks fantastic on that green fabric, what a perfect pick! That Workbasket crow looks pretty fun, and i like the shocking pinky orange fabric for that one, too. And of course Daare Leng Daar is a triumph. One of my faves amongst all your critters! I've got a Crow Hill too. Let me know if you start yours and I'll start mine.
