Hello Philip. I wanted to say that I enjoy your vlogs immensely. Where I live very few people know how to set, dress, a table. Here many of the old customs and traditions our ancestors brought with them to America are slowly fading away. It seems no one has the time with their hectic lifestyles to bother with anything they deem unnecessary. My youngest daughter,early twenties, expressed an interest in the art of preparing not only the table but also the surroundings, indoors or out, to make a very unique and relaxing,, beautiful atmosphere, at a very young age, I believe 5 or 6 years. I did all I could to teach her what I know that I learned from my great grandmother and grandmother . Also from many older women I have met over the years and from other cultures. I found you through Stephanie's vlog, of course, when the pandemic led to the lock down. I was very surprised to see a gentleman, you, showing such great interest and knowledge of not only art, antiques, etc.,but also your skill with which you can quickly and easily set such a beautiful table. So, of course, I had to tell my daughter all about you and all of the chateau vlogers. We have both come to see you as though we were friends. Sharing in your lives and adventures has been a wonderful experience for both of us. We have decided, more her than myself as I am getting on in age a bit, that we shall someday leave the states and travel to all of the wonderful places we have seen on your vlogs.
