- Resawing have you down?…you are not getting the performance you want out of your bandsaw? This video takes you through a solution that I am trying. A micro-kerf table saw blade from Total Saw Solutions. They make table saw blades with only a 1/16” kerf…only ~20 thousandth thicker than my resawing bandsaw blade. I’m very happy with the performance…which you will see in this video.

I just received my Total Saw Solutions 10" Micro-Kerf 40 table saw blade a couple of hours ago and have already put it to use. I am amazed. I'm glad they don't price it to represent its value. It is going to save me an incredible amount of time.
This is great. Thank you.
I build guitars as a hobby. I really want to resaw wood but I can’t afford a bandsaw big enough. However, I can afford a nice table saw.
Great video. Thank you.
Finally found the information I was looking for, thanks. Also your work looks beautiful.
Thank you ! total saw solutions will be in my shop from now on !
You got one? They are amazing saw blades!
@@maximumguitarworks not yet but I will definitely get one.
Awesome ! Love your work, thanks for sharing 👍
Thank you so much Peter...I also appreciate the encouragement.
great info, Steve, Thanks!
That is one wicked blade.
True story!
At 8 minutes, I was on the edge of my seat!.
Then what happened?
@@maximumguitarworks I fell off!
A great blade is is so, so worth the investment regardless of what your end product is.
So true!
Speaking of fingers I watched a kid in High School Shop chop his thumb right in two. I was waiting behind him and knew the fence was too high and he keep putting his hands in the line of cut. but it happened so fast.
Seeing that might discourage one from doing any woodworking. Tools are great...but they have to be respected. Thanks for sharing.
Steve, would you divulge that insight you mentioned at 2:25?
Super helpful. Now that you've been able to use the micro kerf blade for over a year, how has it held up for sharpness, especially in things like padauk?
I don't use it everyday. And I found that using it for hard and thicker wood can overheat it. But 1" or so passes works great...and it is high grade carbide. I would buy it again.
Check out the AccuSlice system.
Matt, do you own one? Thanks for the tip...looks like a jig that I would want to own someday. There still has to be some good setup and maintenance time to get it working perfectly. No?
Well you sold me. Gonna give this blade a try to cut down some maple billets.
I don't think you will be disappointed...it is a great blade.
I want one!!! How much did it cost?🤑
Never mind you just told me
Yeah...there is a link in the video information too. Great blade. I actually used it for ripping Baltic birch plywood today. Worked with ease.
Buy an accu-slice jig for your bandsaw- problem solved.
