Call any tool and die shop in the area, talk to a foreman and ask for a recommendation. They are all over the place but unknown to the average person. The geometry on that blade is not ordinary. Find someone who will take the time to match the factory settings not just grind it like every blade that comes in the door. I would say you could get a blade sharpened for about $65.

FS Tool blades have a larger carbide insert that you can get at least 3 sharpenings out of. Average price is around .50¢ a tooth. Tool dealers topically know who sharpens if not talk to machine shops in the area.

Just a note to add blade kerf aka thickness really comes into play when used on a tablesaw with riving guide or knife. Because some people out there will use a miter saw blade designed for the miter saw on a tablesaw, and a thin kerf blade with a thicker sized riving knife will cause kickback and possible damage or loss of fingers to a person or persons in the area

    • @creepyloner1979

100%. I think the same with Table saws, I know the battery tools prefer a thin Kerf blade, but a thick meaty blade wont deflect as easy. At the end of the day I'll take a slower cut with a wider kerf over a thin blade that zips on through

For thin kerf blades, you can add blade stiffeners to help prevent bending. The thin kerf is a good option for low powered saws. Another nice benefit on table saw is, it produces about half the dust.

Love my Forrest CM and WW blades for a long time. Out being sharpened as we speak :-). It’s well worth spending your money on a quality blade that can be sharpened many times. The thicker blades spin truer and cuts straighter without being deflected by inconsistencies in the material. Diablos are very nice blades(especially for smaller diameter) and Freud Industrial blades even better than D.

I agree that deflection is a problem on miter saws that doesn't get much attention. If you ever have to do a bevel miter cut in large hardwood crown molding like on top of kitchen cabinets.......you will wish you had that premium blade. Sometimes you only get one shot to make that cut.....especially in hardwood which is usually stain grade. With paint grade you can fix it with a scarf joint, filler, and a little paint.

I hate Milwaukee, but that packout system is the shit, I got hooked when I bought the tool tote on a Friday, by Sunday I had spent $1,100 to buy a whole setup.

Richard you just said the operative word, I wish I could sharpen it. I am a furniture maker in Alvarado, I use Ridge Carbide out of New Jersey, I have 2 100 tooth carbide blades, one is on the saw that’s sharp when I swap blades I send the dull one back to Ridge Carbide they sharpen it for $25. If you bust off a carbide tooth no problem they can replace it. James Hamilton from Stumpy Nubs Woodworking turned me on to them. I will never run a different brand again. They are top shelf.

Where’d you get those side tables to support your material? Do you have a link or make and model?
