Have to give her credit. It's disarming dealing with someone as aggressively stupid and morally vacuous as her.
I think the way modern day christians behave is right in line with the old testament. I mean, the old testament is just full of examples of God showing his love for his people (God only loves jews. Not sure why very white very non-jewish people think anything thst is written in the bible applies to them) by instructing them to pillage and unlike entire settlements. Perfect representation of Christians lack of empathy.

There’s a lot of fun stories in the Bible that never make it into a Sunday school class because of the unanswerable questions that would result.
I'm looking forward to teachers posting the list from Deuteronomy 10:10 instead. Because Moses cast down the first set of commandments in a rage, and God said he'd carve a second set of matching commandments to replace them.

The First Amendment of the US Constitution and the first Commandment of the Old Testament are not compatible. Full stop.
I fail to see how. The Amendment leaves citizens free to believe or disbelieve the authority or validity of the Commandment, and the Commandment says nothing about what laws Congress may pass. The viewpoint that sees them in conflict is rooted in the same overbroad application of each injunction's narrow and specific scope that also makes this woman think her religion ought to ornament every classroom. One specifies what Congress may do, the other directs what the Israelites ought do, and that's the real kicker. They always skip the Beatitudes. Blessed are the poor, The Meek shall inherit the Earth. You know, the Jesus stuff that Christians always forget.
Onward Christian soldiers
Since Republican Christianity doesn't actually seem to believe in the Christ parts are they in fact Jewish 🤔🤔🤔
Concerning "In God we Trust" on the paper currency= it was not until 1957 that this phrase appeared on paper money. This occurred after Congress passed House Joint Resolution 396 (ch. 795, 70 Stat. 732) on July 30, 1956 which established a national motto. The 16 word resolution states “the national motto of the United States is hereby declared to be “In God we trust.” However because of technological changes, this phrase did not appear on all currency until 1966 - 174 years after the establishment of the U.S. Mint
“To put such a motto on coins or to use it in any kindred manner, not only does no good but does positive harm, and is in effect irreverence, which comes dangerously close to sacrilege.” - President Theodore Roosevelt
I think the motto should be changed. Or removed. I think it was intended to blur the lines of church and state.
It's as if it was added to further an agenda.
That and “under God” was added to the pledge of allegiance specifically to distinguish the US from “Godless Communism,” since otherwise both the US and USSR were both outwardly secular states.
God needs to get off of our money, out of our courts, government and schools. We are not a Christian nation and it's time we stopped pretending it is. Most people are cultural Christians, because they don't want to be ostracized, not because they have blind faith that some man is in the sky controlling their lives. Time to get some balls and stop this crap.
The best thing about digital currency is dropping that phrase.
Shouldn't they follow them instead of just posting them in class? Which republican follows them? NONE
The Constitution and the Bill of Rights should be on display in every classroom.
Start small and get bigger and bigger....they started with putting it on our money and they have been trying all other ways...they are happy that the supreme Court is in their favor and they are going to try this more often now
And that's the scary part
This lady demonstrated that she doesn't understand what a hypothetical is on live television
Very few conservatives are capable of abstract and hypothetical reasoning.
Politics in Canada scare me. This shit is utterly terrifying.
Saying the bible is a historical document is literally a joke. I have a degree in biblical exegesis and calling rhe bible a historical document is ridiculous.
Think of all the problems Americans could be focussed on in 2024 which could help the world in solving, if they weren't tied down by the ravings of far right extremists.
If I were a teacher in Louisana, I'd put up the part of the Constitution that explains that congress will make no law establishing a religion or preventing the free exercise there of instead. At least that has educational value.
Do it, make them fire you, then sue everyone involved.
Louisiana is like 40th in education in the country.. perhaps they should direct their energy to where it is actually needed
49TH
They don't know how to do that. It would require an education soooooooo.........
@@acidrockpro lol 🤷🏽♀️
Which set of 10 Commandments?
1. Make no covenant with the Canaanite tribes
2. Destroy their altars
3. Make no molten Gods
4. Observe the Feast of Unleavened Bread
5. “The first offspring from every womb belongs to me"
6. Rest on the seventh day
7. Celebrate the Feast of Weeks
8. No leavened bread during Passover
9. Bring the first fruits of the soil to the Lord
10. “You shall not boil a young goat in its mother’s milk”
I’m sure they don’t mean the 613 mitzvot right?
Very true since there are 613 commandments in the Torah.
You know, the "historical" ones.
I agree about the baby goat! I'm not kidding.
I’m really bad with the goat milk one. I keep forgetting
Wow, she is bonkers. 😂
High on church
She doesn't realize that they will eventually come for her. 1st it's abortion, then contraception, then no fault divorce. Back in the great 50's that in god we trust money. Women had no say. There was a time that they couldn't have their own credit card. The account had to be in their father's or their husband's name. Finally they'll take away your right to vote. 100 years ago MAGA
The fact that she’s choosing not to understand the counter argument is telling.
As a Christian I wonder why it’s the ten commandments and not the beatitudes! Ohhhh right we wouldn’t want our students to hear “blessed are the poor for theirs is the kingdom of heaven!”
Louisiana’s not California or NY…but they love taking that welfare cheque from us civilized states
And then they reject money to feed their children.
They say that with a straight face despite what happens in New Orleans during Mardi Gras.
Louisiana has 1 of the highest per capita population of blacks
@@ChristianMission *Black people
And what’s your point? It’s a republican state. And republican states are mostly horribly run welfare states that depend on blue states
@@ChristianMission That's exactly why Bush did what he did after Katrina
They tried that in Texas and they were told that the Koran would also have to be displayed also. I have not heard a thing about it since.😮😮😮
