  • On this special video the two bosses walk us through the history of the farm from before its beginning in 1936 all the way through the present. Full of old pictures and videos with a tractor tour through time with the aid of all the toy tractors and combines on the shelf in the office.
Quote in the opening frame belongs to Sir Issac Newton..... I think
Ivers farms is a family run farm located in Southeastern Illinois and southwest Indiana. Established in 1936 with a traceable lineage to potato farming in Ireland in the 1500’s
Feel free to ride along with us as we continue the family tradition.

The flash back pictures and film remind me of my grandfather and my dad farming when I was a kid in the 60's. The equipment of today is amazing. Thank you for taking time to tell your families story. That was absolutely fascinating! I used to help out on my uncle’s farm during harvest when I was younger. One day he hooked the stock chopper up to a International 1206 and put me on it for a whole day. He wanted me to appreciate today’s cabbed tractors. I lost count of how many times corn cobs hit me in the head. That said it was the greatest day of farming I have ever had. Love your channel and keep up the great work.

Great video! One nit picky correction though. Instead of a CaseIH Cyclone planter, it's an International Cyclo planter. You "youngsters" don't remember those planters. I say that jokingly, as I'm about 11 years older than you.
The first planter I remember was an IH 400, 6RN, planter, behind an IH Formal 656 gas tractor. We later had a couple 8RN 400's. One of them had Yetter row units, which were copied from the Deere 7000 series row units. The 656 is the tractor I learned to drive on, along with the Cub Cadet lawn mower. There's a picture of me mowing the sweetcorn down, with the 656 and a Woods Cadet 84 mower, when I was 7 or so.

Great video- really love the history. I farm in New Zealand 🇳🇿 and your story really reminded of my own family and the history we have. Keep up the good work- found your channel a couple months ago and have really enjoyed it

Absolutely fantastic! I was looking forward to this one for many months. I could've sat through a 5-hour one of these easy enough. I've always enjoyed your dad and uncle on your videos. That's neat the way you have the toys arranged. I never picked up on that from previous wide shots. How do you go up from here? I'm sure you'll find a way. Well done, Ivers! 👍 God's richest blessings to you all.

Enjoyed your video mimics my history. I farm with brother and father In east central IN and went to VU and remember trips over the bridge and levees. Good stuff in the mid 70s.
