Omri's "oh yeah" is the best compliment a module can get.
Love your patch from scratch vids. And yes, I'd like to see more of these sound design patches focussing on a few modules. Thanks for all you do, Omri - I'm still a beginner at VCV, but I would never have got to where I am in my modular journey without your videos. It's like taking a masterclass with you.
I appreciate it! Thanks so much :)
Wow, i love this 'from scratch' stuff
Perfect! Thanks :)
These Instruo modules are really something special.
Oh Yeah, fantastic sounds, love this kind of content which help us to learn from you how to create such wonderful patches and sounds ... keep it comming ;-)
Thanks so much!
I really enjoy the "build as you go" follow along method. Been doing that to your videos since the beginning.
Thanks so much!
Yes! I love this kind of video. Thanks Omri.
Cheers!
The sound design videos are great. Love to see more of these.
Thank you!
I love the oscillator you started with. I found it by chance and use it a lot. The sound you end up with is amazing. The more of your videos I watch the more I learn about different modules. Thanks again. 👍🙂🎹
Glad you enjoy my work :)
Holy beef synth!! I love it!!
This is awesome. Muddy and deep. I love it
Cheers!
Ohhhh yeah. Love it
Cheers!
Phenomenal!
Cheers!
Thanks, nice patch and good video for undertstand instruo modules :)
Glad you liked it!
Amazing - I really like this sort of tutorial. Heavy crunchy bass - Yes!
Thanks so much!
Great Patch! Better in modular of course... love to hear the old Dr. Who theme with this patch for the bass. Thank vous sir.
Glad you like it!
nice! also pretty funky in the right octave :D
Glad you like it!
I like this kind of videos!! Do it more!
Perfect :)
This oscillator became very fast one of my most used, awesome video
Cheers
This is what I was trying to build, but could not. Everyone needs some crunchy bass!
Happy I could help :)
Doing sound design, in the way of *shaping* the sound not necessarily creating music, is what's interesting me the most
Perfect!

Man, that is pure filth! Love it. Also really like this type of content 👍
Thanks so much!
@@OmriCohen-Music Also, when I say “this type of content”, I mean the patch from scratch stuff. It’s really informative and great to patch along to… It’s one of the reasons I miss your live streams when you used to build from zero to some mega sounding patch. 👍
@@chitlun Yeah, patch from scratch videos are fun and I sure do miss streaming. This video is a bit different though since it's only one voice and not a full patch. Is this also interesting?
@@OmriCohen-Music Oh definitely! There’s a lot to be learned from working with a single voice. Limitation = Creativity! 👍
@@OmriCohen-Music Yes! It's mad interesting 'cause my mind immediately starts wondering what i could build around this single sound. It's a different feeling from full patch videos but definitely worth it!
🤘 Sick!!! I should go to bed now. =)

Cheers!
How do you find the hardware cruinn module sound compared to the vcv version? Noticeably more “analog” sounding or quite similar?
A while ago I did a cmparison with Saich. Have a look here and see what you think - czcams.com/video/hUPeAcWnFT4/video.html
Beginner here... If you mess with the "Coarse" or "Fine" knobs at the bottom, how would you make sure that the sound is still in tune with your keyboard (so that C on the keyboard actually results in C being played)? Would you have to use something like Hot Tuna or some other tuner to actually make sure that pressing the C key results in a C note, or is there something more simple than that? And how would you suggest dropping the output by an octave? Would I have to tune it to C3 instead of C4, or again, is there a more simple way to do this using, for example, the 1V/OCT input?
Hi! Well, if you change the settings and you want to bring it back to C, just double-click the knobs and they will jump back to default, which is C. In hardware, there's a need for a tuner, yes. I usually take the Depth knob all the way down, and then use the Sigma output for tuning it. If it's tuned to C, then a C note on your keyboard will also produce the note C. If you want to lower the pitch by an octave, you can use the OCT module from VCV. You send it to the V\OCT input, and then change the octaves. If you're using external pitch as well (like your keyboard or a sequencer), then you send it through OCT, and it will still offset everything. In hardware, there's again a need for a tuner. I hope it all makes sense. Let me know :)
@@OmriCohen-Music Thanks, that makes total sense! I really appreciate the quick response, you're awesome!
Hi! It doesn't work with the computer keyboard. Any clue? Like I have a delay and when I hit the button doesn't reach the signal (note). Thanks!
How do you have it set up?
Do you get pops and clicks if you play the notes fast like we do with hardware eurorack oscillators ? I know some envelopes can remove it but nothing I have tried is perfect. Thank You!!
I'm not so sure what you mean by fast...
Like jamming fast with your fingers up and down the octaves @@OmriCohen-Music
@@dubmaverick69 No, I never had any issues with that
Fat crunchy burger bass 🙂 Personally i add a sub to give even more power.
