In addition to Instruo, Befaco's latest update gives us a little gem - the Pony VCO! I have a tons of fun now. :)
Oh wow! A welcome addition to what may be my favourite sounding modules in VCV… Cruïnn sounds amazing and there’s some wonderful modulation options with the others, lots of exploration to be had… I wonder if we’ll ever get a port of arbhar? That would be lovely! Cheers Omri, 👍
arbhar will probably never get ported, apparently it's so cpu-intensive in the hardware version that it's more trouble than it's worth for instruo to try to replicate in software form. it's a bummer, but you can replicate a lot of it with stuff that's in vcv already outside the instruo collection.
Have fun!
Really nice bright sound ! I hope test'em quickly soon 😉
Have fun!
Very inspirational, thank you!
Glad you enjoyed it!
great video. keep it up you are such a resource
I appreciate that!
Awesome, thanks for sharing :-)
Cheers!
Very nice.
Thank you
Omri, you should look at the "Starling Via" modules, if you haven't gotten the chance. I met the creator a few years back and just a bit ago started using them on VCV again after a video from the same meet-up hit my recommended feed. He has the physical modules for sale but the ones for VCV are free to use and dink around with 👌worth a gander!
Hi! Yeah, I did enjoy a couple of modules and I have even a few videos about them :)
Hmm..., what's the use case of cuïr output module inside VCV?🤔
I would like to know too!
Just found out the Instruop set is not compatible with the new mac ARM chipsets. Its unfortunate. Instruo is great so ill have to find some Oscillator alternatives.
Hi Omri! When you transpose the chord up and down on Harmonaig, is it possible to sequence that?
You should be able to. Just set up a sequence however you want and hook the CV output of the sequencer to the top left CV input of Harmonàig
@@colins.5536 Thanks man!
Omri whats the spike on the scope when Cruinn is being used in LFO mode.Regards Ric
That's a part of the waveform from the expander
I wish they would let the miRack dev port these over to it. Would be great to just relax with my ipad and build out an instrument using all of these. I might have to sit at a computer and doing it. I'm going to be planning out a new physical rack so giving things a test run helps me decide if I want to buy the modules. Anyway, thanks for the vid. Informative as always.
nu te cred......
The only VCV or digital representation people would be interested in from instruo is the arbhar and lubadh.
apparently they would take too much cpu
People do seem to be vaguely interested in the ones that are out 😂
I have Arbhar, great module. Would be a nice addition to VCV rack for sure.
@@hawaiiblue2596 Not sure why, I mean the on-board CPU can't be that powerful on either module.
@@billB101 not gonna happen I’m afraid. (No plans any time soon at least)
The Arbhar (and Lubadh) are very dense audio engines that are optimised for the quad core processors running in the module hardware. To port the engine would be like running an emulator in an emulator.. in an emulator, it would need a gaming rig to run well... and for audio processing my recommendation is Ableton! 😂
In any case we’re busy enough running continual development on the real modules 😉
