I'm so impressed not just with your music but also how your videos stay fresh and high quality. You do so much, albums, lessons, Bitwig stuff, module development, and no doubt normal life things too. It's very inspiring how you have the integrity to spread yourself (seemingly) evenly so that quality is always high, like this.

How odd, I can't get the synth to stick/switch to the "trigger" mode from gate, it keeps going back to gate. (wonderful tutorial as always thanks very much!)

Hey omri do you happen to go more step by step on these patches and module tutorials on any platforms paid or non? Im still newer to eurorack so following along can get tough when you have patches already set up.

Thanks for the great inspiration again! Would be interesting to test this in a higher bpm (135-145 bpm) and use this to generate an interesting bass groove or percussion groove over a straight 4/4 kick and some straight off beat hihats. (Techno 😈)

I was trying to do this a while back, and I could only work out how to do it with multiple addr-seq modules! Polyphony was the key to reduce the clutter... great tutorial!

Good job...but $30 for a book?

Hi! I've been experimenting a lot with different modules and trying to make different *sounds* but i would like to know how to make full *compositions* I don't know what to call it, but I want different synthesizers to come on at certain times and play different parts. like generative patches, but that they can be turned on, off or paused like a normal track in any daw. how can this be realized? do you have any materials on this topic? what can you recommend? (it's not about sound design, it's about arrangement.)

I picked up the book today and I'm really enjoying the premise of presenting the building blocks rather than specific implementations. I've been thinking about implementation in Ableton and wondering what a sequence switch would look like, but then I thought it would be a MIDI Rack with an LFO picking the MIDI chain... (I really believe that Ableton with Max for Live can act like a modular synth!). Thanks for putting all the work into this...

Congratulations for the book release! I will get mine soon. I've been learning to use VCV Rack since January by watching your videos and communicating. I found the software through a Sound Design class while I was a student at Berklee. Now I think is a good idea to have the book in printed version for study and future consulting. Great work. Glad!
