Oh, I use the MindMeld EQ every time, but wow, being able to add compressions will be extra exceptional. Thanks!
This is a subject I never quite understood and I'm interesting in learning more about. This video is a great demo of how EQ and compression can improve the overall sound. One of these days I'll have to dive in deeper.
I had no idea about the Squinky Labs pairing with the MM mixer like this? Excellent! Great vid Omri, cheers 🍄
Glad you liked it!
BassMaster is also an incredible module for middle-of-chain sound design! I use it all the time to manage the width of stereo synth sounds, especially bass, but it’s also good to put right after a stereo FX module like Clouds, Plateau, or MFX just for controlling the space of any potentially muddy low frequencies.
Great tip!
I have just gotten to the point with VCV that I am trying to EQ and manage the output when recording my creations. This is very helpful and appreciated.
Glad to help!
Thanks 🙏 Very useful

Glad you enjoyed it
excellent, you are amazing!

Hey Omri. When I try to hook up the mid and sides, I can only get signal through the mid, nothing appears in the mind meld module for the sides. Any ideas what the issue might be?
I can however get the set up to work on your patch, just not my own.
Well, the side signal will be only the things that happen in the stereo field. Do you have anything in stereo?
Man, I wish Mindmeld (or VCV) would come out with a good compressor.
The Squinky Labs one is ok. I bought Host and got the UA LA-2A when it was free.
@@yarrowlandingsystemsSure, me too. I mostly use the one in ALM MFX myself now. But I would still like Mindmeld or VCV to build one :) Their UI-approach is much more attractive to me. And you cant have enough compressors anyway.
That's totally fair, I understand the UI arguement.
Have you considered using the VCV Host module? There are so many great free compressors available as VSTs!
@@Chip87 Of course. But that is not the same thing as native plugins :)
